Dr. Hawary treated my young son, who had been struggling with balanitis for quite some time in GWH My son was 2 years and 9 months old, and after several GP visits with no improvement, we were understandably worried. From our first appointment, Dr. Hawary was exceptionally kind, patient, and empathetic, taking the time to listen carefully to our concerns. He conducted a thorough examination and prescribed a cream that finally resolved the infection, giving my son much-needed relief within a week. This was a huge comfort after seeing him in pain for so long. Dr. Hawary also clearly explained the underlying cause of the infection, which was related to circumcision, and helped us understand why proceeding with the procedure sooner would prevent further discomfort and complications. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Hawary was incredibly reassuring. He patiently answered all of our questions, both during in-person consultations and via email, ensuring we felt fully informed and confident about the decision we were making for our child. On the day of the surgery, Dr. Hawary took extra care to reassure us and helped keep us calm, emphasizing that our son was in safe and experienced hands. The surgery itself was quick and smooth. During the recovery period, whenever we had questions or concerns, Dr. Hawary was always responsive, often replying within 10 to 20 minutes, which was immensely reassuring. My son has now fully recovered. All stitches have healed and fallen off naturally, and the final follow-up appointment confirmed that everything is progressing perfectly. Just as Dr. Hawary had assured us, my son made a complete recovery by the fifth week. I highly recommend Dr. Hawary to any parent seeking a compassionate, skilled, and attentive doctor. We are deeply grateful for the care he provided and feel confident knowing our child was treated with genuine expertise and kindness throughout the entire journey

Thames View at Charing Cross Hospital

I actually did not get to use the facilities in the private wing of Charing Cross Hospital, as I was seen in neurophysiology on level three of the NHS departments. The only time I had to go up to the 15th floor was to get two forms, stamped and provide my pre-authorisation number that meant getting in a crowded lift and riding up to the 15th floor, which took a very long time as the lift stopped on nearly every floor. Then I had to go back down to level three for tests. It was actually quite stressful for someone with my health conditions to do this, and to be expected to do this administration as the patient!. The waiting area in the NHS department was not relaxing, it was very hot, no natural light was had limited/poor ventilation and the receptionist was quite rude. The medical staff were more polite. When I pay for private healthcare, I prefer to stay in the private department than in the crowded NHS areas. I gather on this occasion the tests were not available in the private wing, but perhaps another hospital where the consultant worked would’ve been able to accommodate. I was not informed that the tests would be in the NHS department.

When I first met Mr Daniel Fudulu. I was extremely nervous. I’m very worried as you can imagine I’ve never been to the BRI..Also being far away from home .. Mr Daniel Fudulu made me relaxed and extremely welcome. he spoke then paused and asked if I had any questions which I felt was very helpful and not once I felt rushed..after 10mins I felt so relaxed and realised we had a lot in common. I knew Mr Daniel Fudulu was the one to give me a second chance of life . He was fantastic understood me and understood my worries took the time to listen to me & never once felt rushed .i just knew I could 100% trust Mr Daniel Fuduluand his team with my life. Also, the care I received at the BRI was fantastic. The intensive care team was brilliant helped me for start to finish and then the recovery ward was just to say even when I was lonely where my family was far away the cleaner the tea lady all took time to talk to me, which made my day a lot better. Thank you be alright have a special thank you too. I was referred to Mr Bailey after seeing my GP and having an X-Ray, and first saw him on 24 October 2025. He showed me the images and explained the options to me and asked what I wanted to achieve. I explained that while I knew I would not run again, it would be nice to be able to take part in recreational skiing once more, albeit on gentler runs, and that I would like the stability of my knee to be restored. He asked how soon I would like to have surgery and I said as soon as possible. I was booked in there and then for surgery on 5 December 2025, which took place as planned and has been highly successful. Nearly seven weeks later I am walking normally, back in the gym, with full knee stability and no knee pain. I continue to do the physio exercises to expand my range of movement. I could not be more satisfied with the result.

Communication with Kernow Psychiatry has been very responsive and I booked an initial appointment to discuss my mental health difficulties. Dr Reid welcomed me into a comfortable room at the wellness hub, she immediately put me at ease and took care make sure I was settled and ready to start. After the hour, Dr Reid summarised what she saw as the key priorities to getting me back on an even keel, suggesting a clear approach to addressing my intersecting issues. I am looking forward to my follow up appointment and the start of my recovery treatment plan. I only wish I’d followed my instincts sooner and booked in months ago.

When I entered the premises I couldn’t believe the transformation that had taken place as I was familiar with the building when it was a hairdressing salon. It was spacious, immaculate and tranquil. Having been quite anxious before my appointment, I quickly relaxed as all the staff were extremely friendly and kind. All the tests were performed swiftly and smoothly with every concern for my comfort and my understanding of the procedures involved. Mrs. Matthews explained my forthcoming cataract surgery clearly, comprehensively and reassuringly and I was very pleased to be offered the surgery I such a short space of time. All in all I couldn’t have wished for a better experience with North Wales Eye Specialist Centre.

I was put completely at ease with all my concerns being addressed. The results are amazing, far beyond my expectations even though I was assured it would be good. Mr Balaggan has great skill which he uses to transform our most precious gift, sight. The theatre support team, both in their work and ability to put me at ease while my sight was being restored to what it was 30+ years ago, were friendly and talented. The hospital support staff saw to all my needs from the moment I walked in to the time I left. I cannot put a price or score on the whole experience, I had high hopes. and these were met and gone above and beyond them. I just want to say a huge thank you to all concerned.

Was a little bit disappointed with the service of leaving the hospital I hardly slept during the night. A young boy told me at 7:30 to get washed and ready to go home about 10 I said 11 o’clock would be better but when I was getting ready to go home my medication wasn’t ready. My taxi arrived 1130 and he had to go away then I had to find someone else with great difficulty to pick me up and sign papers to discharge me.the young boy did apologise . I was waiting for quite a bit of time and all my medication to be ready.

Just had my 6 week follow up after a full knee replacement. I was seen early and after examining my knee, Mr Saksena thoroughly explained the healing process from now on regarding muscle strengthening. He checked that my physio sessions are going well and answered a couple of questions I had. It is my second knee replacement with Mr Saksena and would highly recommend him. He has a very friendly bedside manner, explains things well and I cannot thank him enough!!

Transfered to Clarytin after disappointing time with NHS awaiting time for appointment for cataract removal. Very pleased with Clarity who saw me very shortly after referral and operated on a week later. I was going to wait for the next operation on the NHS on the 4th February but when that was moved to sometime in April, I took the next available appt on January 20th for a private operation. Both private experiences have been a pleasure and very good.

Staff and facilities were amazing. The only thing I felt could be improved was the food. Generally it felt like there was quantity over quality. I had overcooked fish. I selected a starter of prawn and avocado salad one day as I wasn’t overly hungry and was presented with a huge bowl of salad which was swimming in the dressing which wasn’t pleasant. As I say everything else was amazing I just expected the food to match the service.
