Steve is excellent. Personable and very professional and clearly knows his stuff. He operated on our son following a shoulder dislocation playing rugby. Throughout the process, Steve was clear with the surgical options and very thorough in his explanations, particularly understanding with the emotions of a teenager and his desperation to be back on the pitch again. He has a friendly manner and was always quick to answer extra questions we had between consultations. He did an excellent surgical job on our son and we’d have no hesitation in recommending him. I accompanied my 98 years old Mother for her appointment with Professor Ayliffe. He reviewed my Mother’s OCT scan and made the decision that she didn’t need an injection at this time and that he would see her again in April to review her condition. He fully explained his rationale for this decision. My Mother has been a patient of Professor Ayliffe since 2018 when he diagnosed her with macular degeneration. During this time, we have been totally satisfied with treatment my Mother has received from Professor Ayliffe. He has always been very caring towards my Mother and has always fully explained any treatment he has given. Both my Mother and I have total confidence in his treatment of her.

I first met Mr Shenava in December 2024 for my first consultation. He was unaware that i was undergoing treatment for rectal cancer. I was anxious that i may lose my opportunity to have a hip replacement. Mr Shenava reassured me at every point that when ready I would have the surgery. Mr Sheneva explained every aspect of my surgery and treatment and dis so with care, compassion and professionalism. On 5th December 2025 i had the operation and i am moving better and more mobile than i have been for at least ten years. I cannot speak highly enough of Mr Sheneva and everything he and his team have done - simply first class, thank you!

I have used Avenues for a cycle of IVF/ICSi, a hysteroscopy and then FET. I was under the care of De Ali Al Chami and became pregnant with the first transfer, having 3 failed attempts elsewhere. Dr Al Chami changed my protocol (both stimulation and transfer protocol). This places is miles apart because it guarantees continuity of care and patients are treated as people. dr Ali is a wonderful person and he cares about his patients. The midwives (Marina Christina Katie Fiona Emily Starvula) are all amazing and know each patient by name and treated me with warmth, dignity, compassion and professionalism.

Met Mr Amer at Washington Clinic . He was warmly welcoming despite having had a very busy day up to that point. We discussed the background to my appointment , which was a very effective way of getting to understand a bit about each other as well as the medical details. Very clear explanation also using some video to show what procedures would entail . Good clear summary of the various risks involved . I came away from the appointment very confident in Mr Amer and with a clear plan for treatment which hopefully can be done quickly to fit in with other things I'm doing . Faultless .

I noticed the cleanliness of the office and waiting rooms. A very polite gentleman dealt with our car parking charge and wished us well - this was noted too. We were also kept informed of why the appointment was slightly late - this too was most appreciated since others in the waiting room were going ahead of us despite having later appointments. Simple things do make all the difference. Appointment itself was efficient as was the subsequent X-ray test downstairs. All in all - very pleased.

Disappointed I had to wait 20 minutes for an appointment first thing in the morning, however everything else was positive. Waiting area and treatment room were both tidy and clean. Staff were friendly and professional. Some additional work required and dentist took me through options for treatment and resulting cost. Dental work was very good and pain free(!). Payment all completed to my satisfaction. Overall, a positive experience

Reason for the low rating on wait time is that I reported for admission at 1300 as requested but didn’t end up going to theatre until 2030. This was in part due to earlier procedures taking longer than expected but it was a very long time to wait and a long time to not eat. Perhaps a 3rd admission slot later in the afternoon would be a good improvement on busy days. But other than that everything else was very good.

Central Health London was a wonderful place to attend my antenatal appointments. It is a lovely, calm setting, always very clean, with friendly and welcoming staff, including the midwives, who made each visit enjoyable. I genuinely looked forward to my appointments, which speaks volumes about the supportive and reassuring atmosphere. I would highly recommend the practice to anyone seeking antenatal care.

Practice Plus Group Hospital, Barlborough

Staff at the practice seem to be unable to distinguish between NHS patients a d those who Are private and paying. Twice i was sent to the wrong waiting area with NHS patients. Only to be later sent to the private waiting area. As a paying patient i expect a certain level of compitance and care. So come on Barlborough, a little bit of interest in your role might help
