Marc and his whole team at Sage were fantastic from beginning to end throughout the whole process. Once it was identified I had a problem with my prostate which needed to be addressed, the Sage support team quickly kicked in and started the process. The initial face to face meeting with Marc was first class, which put both myself and my wife at ease. This was followed up with a detailed breakdown of my status and required next steps. There was a very tight window for him to operate before Christmas; but this was dependant on the scan images being made available as very short notice. His team were tireless in their pursuit of the images form the NHS. Only because of their diligence were the images were delivered in a timely manner to Marc and the hospital. On the day of the operation I was visited by Marc and the anesthetist prior to surgery, which was a great success. I was seen again by Marc the following day and then allowed home later that day. All of the team who looked after me were outstanding and did a great job. The post surgery follow-up and care has been equally good. His team are always available and I have seen Marc twice post- operation. His guidance, support and professionalism has been outstanding. As well as being a great surgeon Marc is empathetic to the mental and emotional toll that a cancer diagnosis and surgery take. For me he is at the top of his game in this field and I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone in a similar position.

I honestly can’t recommend the fertility suite enough. Rebecca has been an absolute god send. I have been battling with pcos for years and the nhs refusing to help as my partner has a child from a previous relationship. I’ve been trying to help heal my body with information online but there are so many different opinions and advice and it became very overwhelming. From the start Rebecca has been friendly, empathetic and a great listener. I come out of my appointments feeling so relaxed and feel like I’ve just had a therapy session. She really understands what I’m going through. As well as Rebecca being amazing with the emotional side, she has helped me reduce my cycles from 77 and 79 days to 30/32 day cycles and now I am showing signs of ovulation, which I had only experienced once before. I know with her support the pregnancy will follow soon! She is great and always at the end of the phone/email for guidance and advice on what supplements to take and what to work on! Thanks for everything so far. Can’t wait until my next session!

All seemed to be going well and at the close of my appointment the consultant asked me to have a blood test done outwith the Cathedral Also he advised that I should make an appointment for the operating procedure downstairs at reception. Circa end of April When I went to the desk I was advised that the member of staff was off that pm and I would receive a call tomorrow Next day I contacted my surgery about the blood sample and test. Late on my surgery called back to advise they were not willing to arrange the test as they were not treating me I received no call from Cathedrai that day The next day I waited to on and called Cathedral Spoke to Clare a few times and essence of conversation was that all was on hold as consultant on holiday and not available till 17th February Also no progress can be made with blood sample and rest even although I asked them to read my consultation notes !!! So I could comment more however this is the essence of a mot disappointing situation after my consultation

Miss Nair and her colleagues at Queens Hospital were fantastic! I was treated with respect and dignity, was reassured and made to feel comfortable before the procedure. Miss Nair came to see me before my procedure and afterwards to explain the process and give aftercare advice. My recovery was without complications, my incisions have healed very well and 12 weeks on I have made a full recovery. At my recent 12 week review she reassured me that I need not have any further treatment and no abnormalities were found. My only suggestion is that there needs to be more cognizance around advice regarding surgical menopause and treatment but I understand that this is a nationwide issue.

Overall, I had a good experience at the Fitzrovia Suite. The midwives were supportive, kind, and readily available, providing good care following my c section. I was particularly grateful for the overnight support. The team helped look after my baby, ensuring I was able to get much-needed sleep and rest, which was invaluable for my recovery. However, The handover process between midwives during shift changes could be better managed, as there were some gaps in communication between team members. Additionally, the catering was fairly average and quite rigid in terms of meal timings and available options, which could be more flexible.

The consultant was very reassuring throughout. The teams, medical and physio, came across as calm, competent and professional. The nurses and reception staff at the hospital were friendly, calm and professional not just to me, the patient, but to my wife as well. Recovery after the procedure was less daunting than I feared it would be, the pain experienced was less than I feared it might be, and the rehab process has been every bit as easy as I was told it might be. So, thank you to everybody concerned.

I was quite nervous prior to have a full knee replacement but the whole process was not as traumatic as I’d been led to believe from other non professionals. I had a two night inpatient stay recently after having fairly major surgery at The Woodthorpe Hospital. The individual and quality care I received from my Surgeon, Anaesthetist and Nursing staff made my experience a very positive one. The room was well equipped and the food was good, with every need catered for. Special thanks for making allowances and letting me stay until late in my room on day of discharge. I would definitely recommend this hospital for an overall positive experience.

Seemed like a very thorough diagnostic type appointment. After an immediate hearing test I was booked in for tests (MRI and ultrasound) on Miss Choudhury’s recommendation.
