I have have had previous eye surgery at NW Eye specialist Centre under the care of Dr Bhargava, and was entirely satisfied with the care received and outcome of my operation. On this occasion, I received a very prompt appointment which I was grateful for. The environment in Bangor was spotlessly clean and the receptionist and nurse were very friendly and professional. My consultation was thorough and Dr Bhargava gave explained to me with care and attention the nature of my symptoms and I was given a treatment plan to follow and a follow up appointment to check progress in six weeks. All of this was verified by a consultation letter that was also sent to my GP on the same day. I am very grateful to receive this high standard of care and attention from all of the team involved.

I had a thoracoplasty surgery with Mr Panagiotopoulos to fix an acquired slipping rib and my experience with him from our consultation to the surgery was amazing. He understood the nature of my issue immediately and took his time explaining the problem and my options thoroughly. During the preparatory period and my hospital stay I felt that I was in the right hands at every step. I struggled with chronic pain for a long time due to the slipping rib, and finding Mr Panagiotopoulos gave me the peace of mind regarding a path to recovery I needed. So I wasn’t made ware how drastic the set up would be for my 2.5 year old toddler - actually quite a scary thing to deal with for such a small person, and had I’d known I would have managed him better leading up to it. I also had to calibrate a lead in middle of the night, and the surgical tape used did not come off easily so as you can imagine he was screaming when I was taking off the leads in the morning and there wasn’t any help with this - on his face/hair etc so it was very painful for him - it was actually horrible. Please give some ‘Eaze off’ to patients - or warn patients about this.

He treated me with exceptional respect and care. You’re in truly safe hands with Dr Chalhoub and Sarah and will be very well looked after. No matter what kind of treatment or problem or question you go to Dr Chalhoub with he and Sarah are there for you the whole time with such warmth and without judgement. As a non binary person this was incredibly important and meaningful for me. I truly couldn’t recommend a physician more!

I attended tonight for a scan of my hands with Dr Patterson. On arrival I was welcomed at reception, checked in quickly and asked to take a seat in the waiting room. Breda then came out and called me to attend the consultation room, introductions were made, and Dr Patterson then performed my scan, he was professional, and provided information relevant to my condition. The whole consultation was a pleasure and demonstrated the significance difference a private company can make to a struggling NHS. Thankyou both again for such a positive experience.

I attended saint marys hospital over a week ago with severe pain from a gallbladder infection. I was informed my infection markers were very high. I was given antibiotics and told to wait several weeks before I could have the gallbladder removed. Then I met Dr Navaratne and his team who arranged for me to have the surgery straightaway. The surgery went amazingly well and my pain improved immediately. I was discharged just two days after the emergency gallbladder removal and I am so grateful to Dr Navaratne, his team and the hospital

I found cathedral eye clinic a very warm and welcoming practice, its staff were friendly and attentive, the specialist (Gillian ) that dealt with me kept me kept me well informed of the process throughout the eye exam which did put me at ease. Sadly for me my eyes are not suitable for the procedure required, this proved to me that it is not all about pounds shillings and pence with them. Hopefully down the line they can come up with another procedure that will suit me. I would have no hesitation in recommending cathedral eye clinic.
