Mr Scott Middleton

Mr. Scott Middleton is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialised focus on foot and ankle surgery. He has a wealth of experience in treating various foot and ankle conditions, ranging from bunion corrections to managing deformities, neuroma surgery, and addressing arthritis and sports injuries. His expertise extends to providing both surgical and non-surgical solutions for Achilles and plantar fascia issues.

Mr. Middleton completed his surgical training in Edinburgh and furthered his expertise through a one-year fellowship at the Vancouver General Hospital in Canada. He has a strong commitment to education, serving as an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh. He has contributed to the field of surgery through co-authoring a textbook and a chapter in a prominent surgical textbook, showcasing his dedication to advancing surgical knowledge.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Mr. Middleton is actively involved in surgical training. He tutors for the Master of Surgery in Trauma and Orthopaedics at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and is a Clinical Supervisor for the South-East Scotland Orthopaedic Surgical Training Programme.

Currently, Mr. Scott Middleton holds the position of Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at NHS Fife, where he specialises in managing complex foot and ankle conditions.
