About Dr. Haroon Rehman
Dr Haroon Rehman is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip and knee conditions. He graduated from Aberdeen University and completed his specialist training through the North of Scotland Orthopaedic Training Programme. He completed the John Charnley Fellowship at Wrightington Hospital and a travelling fellowship in robotic-assisted hip and knee replacement.
Dr Rehman is the Governance Lead for Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery within his NHS Trust and an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer. He is a Member of Council for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and an examiner for the MRCS exam.
His clinical practice focuses on joint reconstruction, advanced surgical techniques, and enhanced recovery protocols, including day-case joint surgery.

Super friendly and helpful explanation of the process and procedure for hip replacement surgery and the x ray too! Very reassuring.
From my initial consultation to the procedure, i can honestly say it was seamless. My consultation was explained in full and highlighted a very difficult surgical procedure as bone mass had overgrown my hip from a previous RTA. Dr Rehman showed the xrays and the mass and explained what he would need to do to overcome a non standard operation. Within my surgery it lasted for over 5 hours where my care before and after was exemplary. My after care and follow ups have resulted in a complete success to my hip movements and my quality of life
Very pleased with my knee replacement. Done 6 months ago. Mr Rehman extremely good all round surgeon. Explained process through and did a great job for me.
