Mr Michael Brown carried out medial unicompartmental knee replacement with robotic assistance on my left knee. Prior to the operation my knee was very painful, particularly when going up and down stairs. The operation has been a complete success. 8 weeks on I have full movement of the joint and can walk 3-4 miles per day and use stairs without any pain. The operation was carried out in the Nuffield Hospital in Glasgow and I was discharged the day after my operation. I can't speak highly enough about Michael and all staff at Nuffield from the anesthetist and nurses to the physiotherapists. The treatment and care was superb and the recovery has been much faster than I had anticipated.

Mr Brown made me feel at ease as soon as we met. He explained what was involved if I went ahead with either operation which we discussed. He left the decision untimely up to me.
