Care from staff medical, nursing, physiotherapist and catering were excellent at Ross Hall. Would highly recommend getting a computer full knee operation under the care of Professor Graeme Hopper. It is 5 days post surgery and the procedure has been a remarkable success.

Delighted to hear your recovery from your recent Robotic-Assisted Total Knee Replacement is going well.
ACL reconstruction - all completed successfully. Discussed clearly beforehand and all done as expected. Very happy overall

Many thanks for your 5* review, glad your recovery following your ACL reconstruction has been a success.
Professor Hopper repaired a tear in my meniscus cartilage. He explained everything in detail before the operation which went very well. Everything about the process was dealt with professionally by all staff involved. I am now 9 weeks post operation and have regained about 90 % recovery.

Many thanks for your 5* review, delighted to hear your rehabilitation is going well following your meniscus surgery.
After nearly six years of seeing multiple specialists and being told there was nothing wrong with my knee — and that I simply needed to strengthen it — I was feeling incredibly frustrated and unheard. During that time, I experienced repeated episodes where my knee would completely lock. The pain was agonising, and I would have to wait, unable to move my leg, until the meniscus shifted back into place. When I was finally referred to Mr Hopper, he identified the problem within 15 minutes of examining me. After years of uncertainty, it was such a relief to feel listened to and understood. I underwent meniscus repair surgery a couple of months later and am now seven weeks post-operation. Although I still have a few months of rehabilitation and recovery ahead of me, there is finally light at the end of the tunnel. For the first time in years, I feel hopeful that I will truly have my life back. The difference already has been life-changing. Before surgery, I was constantly cautious and anxious about my movements, worried my knee would lock again. Now I feel so much more confident and comfortable. Mr Hopper was supportive and understanding throughout the entire process. After the operation, he personally came to see me and clearly explained what the issue had been and exactly how he had repaired it, which I really appreciated. I cannot recommend him highly enough — truly a 10 out of 5.

Thank you very much for your review. I was delighted that after many years of problems with your knee, we have managed to identify and repair your hypermobile meniscus and give you confidence back in the knee.
Prof Hopper was very informative and helpful throughout.

Brilliant. My overall experience through consults and the operation was top class. I never thought i would get back to normal due to my knee, but after seeing Mr Hopper i can finally feel a massive difference. My pain is gone and i’m starting to return to normality. I sincerely would recommend Mr Hopper.

Thanks for your positive feedback. Delighted to help get you back on track.
Mr Harper explained every perfectly. I went in on crutches and came out pain free. He is a marvel. I suffered pain for so long. Now 2 months on back playing bowls. Can’t recommend him enough.

Many thanks for your review. Good luck with your bowls in 2026 and beyond.
I am an international masters hockey player , which normally involves playing 5 full games over a 10 day period. Eighteen months ago I got constant pain in my left knee. During a tournament last year I was really struggling to play as was in constant pain from game one and it only got worse over the tournament. I got an MRI and had a consultation with a specialist knee surgeon, who stated that the pain was mainly due to wear and tear. The cartilage had thinned and there were signs of osteoarthritis and inflammation. We tried a cortisone injection which did absolutely nothing for me. I was reluctant to get a partial knee replacement but was not keen on the recovery time and also how successful it would be. After finding out about arthromacid and doing some research I decided to give it a go as it is much less invasive than surgery. The procedure was very straightforward and had a bit of stiffness and a bit of constant pain for about 10 days. Since then I have had bit of constant pain but the majors thing is that I don’t notice it when playing and even managed to play 5 games in 10 days with only a very slight degradation in performance and no significant increase in pain. I am very pleased with the outcome of the procedure and am hoping to be continue playing into the future.

Many thanks for your review. I am delighted that your Arthrosamid injection has helped you with the pain you had playing hockey.
