The anxiety doesn't consume me the way it did, and the depression has lifted enough that I can engage with my new life rather than just surviving it. We chose Fitzrovia Suite as its part of big NHS hospital in case of any unexpected emergency, it made us feel comfortable being just 1 floor away in case anything happens. The team is wonderful and professional able to create a sense of safety and calm in those moments before and after birth. They were supportive during one of the most vulnerable and delicate experiences a woman can go through, offering practical tips, guidance, emotional support and truly personal care at any hour, for any question or request we had. Midwifes supported us looking after our baby so we can get some sleep waking us is time for feeds, meds and breastfeed support. The midwifes were also available on WhatsApp after the birth, which was incredibly helpful. There is so much information to process when you’re discharged home, and having the ability to ask follow-up questions and get quick clarifications made a huge difference for us. Facility itself is clean, catering is nice, rooms were comfortable, branded toiletries are provided -great experience.

Dr Barke looked after my son following a shoulder injury, and his care was outstanding from start to finish. He acted swiftly to organise appropriate imaging, arranged expert surgical input, and ensured seamless physiotherapy follow-up. What was most valuable was that Dr Barke took overall responsibility for coordinating the entire process and leading my son’s return to sport. As a very keen sportsman, my son was understandably devastated at the prospect of missing out, but Dr Barke was incredibly reassuring, supportive, and clear throughout putting clear plans in place. He not only managed the injury expertly but also recognised the emotional impact of being sidelined, which made a huge difference. Thanks to his guidance and structured approach, my son felt supported, motivated, and confident as he worked back to sport. I would highly recommend Dr Barke to any young sportsman and their family.

I have been under Mr Rudol’s care for the last 9 weeks , following an MRI that revealed I required spinal surgery . This came as a great shock as it was such an acute event . Mr Rudol took time to talk me through my imaging , showed me exactly where the issue was , what the surgery entailed and recovery time . Mr Rudol kindly and eloquently discussed risks , expectations and really eased the process and fear of the surgery, he encouraged questions from myself and my partner and answered with detail and honesty. My surgery was a success and the after care has been as compassionate and professional as my pre operative journey .

Thanks to everyone at Freedom Vision in Bromley for giving me a positive experience throughout my time with them.  I was very nervous to have the procedure, but it went smoothly and led to an excellent outcome.  Having had my cataracts removed from both eyes and RayOne Galaxy Toric multifocal replacement lenses fitted, I now have amazing eyesight for distant, intermediate and near vision.  I am especially grateful to the optometrist and the surgeon for their expertise and care, and to Chirag, the Patient Liaison Manager who always made me feel well supported.

The booking team are very unhelpful. They are not following the doctors instructions and offer appointments that are spread out throughout the day. There needs to be clear communication between them. My doctors secretary has ignored the doctors instructions and failed to respond to my email to address my appointment schedules. This has caused me to waste 4 weeks. I only came to your clinic as I wanted to see a world renowned doctor. Sadly your service has tainted that doctor’s reputation.

The colonoscopy preparation was clear and straightforward, and the procedure itself was handled with great professionalism and care.
