I attended the London Clinic to have a cataract removal and lens replacement on my left eye. Mr Pringle carried out the operation and I had requested to be sedated. The whole experience was seamless from start to finish, and unhurried from check-in to discharge. I felt reassured the entire time that I was receiving the best care. Once installed in my room, Dr Hunt, the anaesthetist, visited me and explained the sedation process. He was followed by Mr Pringle, who went over the details of the procedure again and answered all my questions. During the operation, I was conscious but not really aware of what was happening, although I could hear Mr Pringle speaking with the team in the theatre. I was quite surprised when I was advised that it had been completed! I felt completely reassured and safe in Mr Pringle's hands and highly recommend him for eye surgery, not only on a personal level but also because of all the work he carried out on my husband's left eye following a detachment of the retina.

My latest visit was to get results of a recent MRI scan, which was to diagnose my recent return of sciatica symptoms after having ALIF surgery. The staff greeted me and made me feel comfortable as always. Mr Grahovac explained why I was getting the same symptoms again. He clearly explained that I have another problem slightly higher up my spine. He explained there was a major operation that could solve this, but it would then become the same problem up by the next disc/vertraba. As my symptoms have greatly reduced since I first saw him a month ago, he was confident that some hands on physio would help me. I happily agreed to this going forward. As ever, Mr Grahovac recalled that my husband had had a stroke a few months before my ALIF surgery, asking how his recovery was going. This was again a privilege on my part to be treated by Mr Grahovac. I came away feeling understood, and having a clear understanding of the problem and help I should seek going forward.

I am just two weeks post-surgery and feel remarkably well and am surprisingly agile, even at this early stage. I am grateful to Mr Phadnis for his skills and his ability to deliver on his promises. I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed by Mr Hodges. He was excellent, from my initial consultation through to the surgery and the follow up. Whenever I had questions or concerns leading up to my surgery he always offered a telephone consultation so he could reassure me of any worries I had. On the day of my surgery he was very reassuring - and afterwards when I was slightly out of it due to being put to sleep, he came to see if all was well! The fact that I had all four removed with 0 complications and without any of the risks explained to you beforehand is a testament to how great he is at what he does. A very kind dr, and absolutely a specialist in his field! Very glad I had him for this treatment

A generally good experience but a couple of suggestions...... 1) Screens - it would save time for consultants etc.., if they didn't have to come into the reception area and shout out names - and difficult to hear for some, especially if the area is crowded. So some well placed screens announcing patient names and room numbers would be far more effective and efficient? 2) Reception - the impression given by 'first point of contact', is so important in any organization. A cheery ' good morning. may i help?' is far preferable to being confronted by a deadpan 'are you all right?'. The latter expression/question is actually what one came to the hospital to find out (from the professionals1).

I'm thoroughly satisfied with the Dottore London. The doctor was exhaustive during the consultation, he asked many questions pertaining my general health and the specific issue I had contacted them for. I was allowed and encouraged to expand and elaborate on my ailment, as there was no sense of rush. Everyone was very welcoming, friendly and professional. The client is made to feel totally looked after. The reception area as well as the waiting room and the consultation room were very tidy and clean. Overall, a completely positive experience that I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone.

MR Leontsinis assessed me for a perforation of the septum. He was very clear from the initial appointment what options I had and made it very clear if i was to choose a procedure it was not guaranteed to be successful. I had the procedure which was very seamless at the spire, I felt very well cared for by all staff involved during my admission and post admission. MR Leontsinis is a very very knowledgeable and skilled clinician. Im pleased to say my procedure was successful thanks to his care and precision.

There is not great communication between the Nuffield and GP practice. Takes a long time for letters to be sent, cannot get timely follow up prescription from GP as they have no details of treatment. I live some distance from Brentwood so not feasible to come back to collect prescriptions. This was the only issue I found. I am very grateful to have been seen at the Nuffield Brentwood as an NHS patient, it's a good way of moving patients off waiting lists and I am thankful for the consultation with Mr Owa.
