What truly set him apart was his ability to make a potentially stressful situation completely manageable. He is incredibly knowledgeable, taking the time to explain every detail of the surgery in a way that was clear and reassuring. Crucially, his fantastic sense of humour was a genuine comfort—it instantly put me at ease before the operation and even had me laughing post-surgery, (even if it did test his handiwork!) which was a brilliant start to my recovery. I had complete faith in his abilities, and the results of the surgery have been excellent. I would have absolutely no hesitation in choosing him again for any future procedure.

I recently had a septoplasty and polyp removal carried out by Mr Okonkwo, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I had suffered from recurring sinus blockages and infections for many years, but just four weeks after surgery the difference is incredible. I can smell again, breathe freely through my nose, and even my speech has improved as I’m no longer sounding nasal. The operation itself was straightforward and done as day surgery. I felt very well looked after throughout, woke up with minimal discomfort, and my recovery has been smooth. I’m truly grateful for the care I received and would highly recommend Mr Okonkwo to anyone experiencing similar sinus issues.

As per usual every part of my visit is very professional and all the communication is prompt and informative, it is good to receive a copy of the progress. My last visit was on Saturday 6th December and it was a review of the laser treatment on my left eye - I was delighted when the review confirmed that the pressure on my eye had fallen to normal - this was a 50% reduction. I only had to put one eye drop at night. This was very professional and I have a six monthly review in my diary for 2026. I would have no problems at all in recommending Cathedral Eye Clinic.

Dr. Siddika is very professional, friendly, kind. Throughout the process from initial consultation to operational procedure, she is extremely caring. I was very concern at the beginning as I have had quite bad experience in the past. Her patient explanation and kindness already made me felt half relieved during the consultation. She is also very skilled and I hardly felt the pain just one week after the operation, which is really amazing. I highly recommend her and really appreciate her caring, kindness and professionalism.

Very good overall. Minor gripes only would be the limited parking, limited capacity in waiting areas and that some seating is too low to meet the needs of hip / knee patients . The roll out of the new call centre facility makes for a patchy experience at times and it’s concerning that online accounts fail to show all patient appointments - even with the consultants - which may lead to confusion and potential missed appointments. Work in progress and will surely iron out in time.

She fully supported my decision to have a mastectomy rather than a lumpectomy and was equally supportive in agreeing to further surgery to achieve symmetry. To help other people having the operation, I would encourage them to have it and explain its hard work at first but gets easier the more work you put in yourself , meaning physio work , sticking to the plan and not doing too much or definitely to little and being patient, success will come it might take time . I'm totally pain free which probably took a good 4 months to get there , now after nearly 10 months I have no problems whatsoever!

Recently had a right hip replacement on November 17th. Mr Ihsan Mahmood was my surgeon. On consultation, Mr Mahmood explained how the procedure would go, he listened and answered my questions, and on the day of the operation all the staff…. Especially my anaesthetist were so reassuring and put me at ease. Everything went well and I’m in recovery. Would recommend Elanic to anyone who requires a hip replacement. Very happy so far.

After my original consultation with a orthopaedic surgeon at a physiotherapy clinic in Doncaster, he wanted to put me on his list. He said I could have a new knee and be fit for Christmas. I said. I want Mr Haslam to operate on my right knee..I trust him. I haven't had any issues with my left knee. He operated on my friends Son's torn ligamentes. He'll br back playing Rugby again soon. Mr Paul Haslam is a genius

At my last visit he did just that, enabling me to leave the consultation worry free, having been reassured about my blood pressure and heart rhythm. He also made it clear that I could always approach him for reassurance if I had further problems and that a review NHS appointment would be made for me anyway a year on.

Parking is easy. Reception staff efficient. Dr Brasse is always welcoming, warm and professional. I was met by a nurse who took care of me throughout and dealt out the eye drops prior to the operation. The surgeon introduced himself to me and was reassuring before and during the op. He was aware my eye was stinging from the drops and waited until further numbing drops took effect before operating. He also kept reassuring me whilst dealing with the cataract.
