As a someone who has never experienced detox/rehab, group therapy, meetings, psychiatric evaluation or support and with very little exposure to discussion or open dialogue about my addition or indeed addiction in general it would have been helpful to have a better introduction/orientation to the process, perimeters, etiquette etc. I full appreciate the variables and ambiguities in an environment such as this but even being aware of what they might be would have been helpful. I felt my length of stay and the detox treatment was minimised and at times mocked, invalidating my treatment, commitment and if I’m honest, my character. I felt ridiculous and vulnerable and two particular group sessions. I would never have mocked anyone else’s efforts or derided anyone on their multiple attempts at recovery but if I had I would have fully expected to be challenged for doing so - I didn’t feel there was anyone interested in challenging the negativity directed towards me and it left me feeling quite isolated and undermined.

Mr Tailor's care throughout my consultations, surgery and follow-up was outstanding. From our first conversation, he gave me a clear detailed understanding of my health issue and treatment. He outlined options and what would determine what type of surgery was needed. He treated my case with the urgency I wanted and organised for me to have a scan on the day of my first consultation and an operation date within a few weeks. His communication throughout the treatment was excellent - using phone, WhatsApp and email to ensure I had all the information I needed and received biopsy and blood test results as quickly as possible. I had a Laparoscopy procedure and while Mr Tailor had to manage some unexpected observations during the surgery, my recovery has been smooth and scarring minimal. I highly recommend Mr Tailor for any gynecology treatment or procedure.

Mr Andrews has shown me a very caring attitude and always has time to listen and responds in a very respectful and professional manner. He goes out of his way to explain and support his medical opinion, and shows courtesy and compassion which I have found so helpful and quite honestly hugely appreciated in the medical profession. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him, and I know that should I need any further assistance I will be in contact without a doubt. My father has recently had both cataracts removed at Visio Health. He had been advised not to drive and was anxious about waiting for Surgery on the NHS. We contacted Visio and had an appointment the same week. Such lovely and welcoming staff who couldn’t have put him more at ease. He had both eyes done at the same time within 2 weeks. He was apprehensive due to having COPD and keeping still for the operation. However the staff took every step to reassure him and ensure he was comfortable. 4 weeks on and he is absolutely delighted with the results. We cannot thank Visio enough.

Transfered to Clarytin after disappointing time with NHS awaiting time for appointment for cataract removal. Very pleased with Clarity who saw me very shortly after referral and operated on a week later. I was going to wait for the next operation on the NHS on the 4th February but when that was moved to sometime in April, I took the next available appt on January 20th for a private operation. Both private experiences have been a pleasure and very good.

Mr Jones was kind, genial, professional and as gentle as he could be with the procedure. He chatted to me during the procedure , telling me about the scan that was showing the fluid on/ around my knee and was happy to answer my question about what the fluid was that he was removing etc. He told me that I’d get a call from him in a few months time to check how I’m getting on rather than a face to face follow up. What an excellent man !

My experience was very good but spoiled somewhat as the receptionist could not give me a date for the biopsy after I had my consultation with the Consultant. From what I could gather he did not have any slots open ! . That was on the 8th of January and I was told that someone would be in touch. It is now the 17th of January and I would like to know a date so that I can arrange as far as possible to be free then .
