I started my IVF journey in 2023, which resulted in a successful pregnancy, and I am now the proud parent of a one-year-old baby. I am currently preparing for a second transfer, and throughout this entire journey, the Professor has been nothing but exceptional. He is incredibly approachable, reliable, and always available. I have been able to contact him at any time of the day, on any day of the week, and he has always been willing to accommodate my needs, including fitting in appointments when needed. His level of knowledge and expertise is outstanding, and he always takes the time to explain everything clearly, which immediately puts you at ease. What truly sets him apart is his constant optimism and positive energy. From the very beginning, he believed in my IVF journey and consistently reassured and encouraged me. This positivity made a huge difference and helped me stay hopeful and confident throughout the process. I am extremely grateful for his care, professionalism, and support.

Dr. Dipesh Mistry

Dr Mistry is a fantastic psychiatrist who has really gone above and beyond with me. Having had plenty of negative experiences with other clinicians in the past, Dr Mistry stands out as a doctor who is not only kind and compassionate, but also extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Dr Mistry has supported me through extreme grief, depressive episodes, and extremely heightened anxiety. He has a holistic approach that focuses on medication as part of a wider picture of other therapeutic interventions, and he always takes the time to explain his suggestions in detail, without instilling a feeling of any medical hierarchy. The only area Dr Mistry is less specialised in is neurodivergent conditions such as ADHD, so it would be fantastic for him to gain further training in this as neurodivergent condition can be closely linked to mental health challenges. Bar this, I would not hesitate at all in recommending Dr Mistry to others. He has been an immense help to me, and I am very grateful for his kindness and expertise.

I arrived circa 15min before my appointment time as requested and was greeted courteously by the reception staff before being lead to an examination room to undergo a basic check of my eyesight and health check/questionnaire. On retuning to the waiting area I was almost immediately greeted by Mr Bhargava. The consolation was just 5min after the appointment time, which is excellent. The consultation was thorough and very professional, Mr Bhargava has a very good manner and following questioning and examination explained all the parameters relevant to my condition. Mr Bhargava then went on to detail treatment and advice in a concise but detailed way covering all aspects very well. I left feeling that the visit was well worthwhile and that I had been treated well in all aspects of the consolation. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Bhargava to friends and colleagues.

This is truly a very pleasant clinic. All staff put you at ease and treat you very well. I had an upper endoscopy performed by Dr Craig Mowat. He is a really patient, polite and conscientious professional man who listened to my concerns and talked me through them. He was very thorough and suggested how I could relive my symptoms mean time until my procedure, which was only a few weeks later. He explained exactly what would happen. The experience was very calm and I was put at ease. Dr Mowat told me of his findings immediately after the procedure and called me to discuss biopsy results a couple of weeks later. The whole experience was calm and quickly put my fears to rest. Thank you very much for lifting a huge weight off my mind - I can now get back to enjoying life!

From the first appointment with Mr Dabasia, I felt extremely reassured. He clearly explained what was happening with my spine, how this was creating the symptoms I was experiencing and what my options for treatment were. He ensured that I was aware of both the risks of not having and having the surgery (bilateral decompression surgery at two points in my spine). Mr Dabasia also arranged excellent aftercare including physiotherapy and a follow-up appointment 8 weeks post-surgery. The operation was a complete success and Mr Dabasia checked on my recovery and how the wound was healing at the 8 week check. He was again very professional, ensuring that I was recovering well and knew how to contact him if I did have any concerns.

From the very beginning, they made sure my symptoms were truly listened to and thoroughly investigated, which made a huge difference to my experience. I was extremely nervous having had a bad cataract surgery experience previously. However the staff went out of the way to make me feel comfortable, with a particular shout out to Bruce who was calm, funny, knowledgeable and held my hand throughout the procedure. Mr Ainsworth was warm and kind, it was good to meet him before the surgery. The whole procedure was explained and was over so quickly. It was a very personalised experience and my recovery has been quick and straightforward. I cannot recommend Newmedica highly enough, particularly for nervous patients.

For each of the initial consultation, surgery and post-op follow-up Mr Crabtree provided an excellent service, instilling confidence through friendly yet consise communication. My hernia repair operation was very much a success and my speedy recovery I believe was down to the surgical skills of Mr Crabtree. It would have been nice for me to have had a brief meeting with Mr Crabtree on the day (the post-operation) to discuss a concern. That said, the nurse looking after me was able to convey that all had gone well and that no complications were envisaged.

Came for a pre op, lovely staff and lovely pre op Nurse, however I was sent for bloods, I wasn’t asked if a trainee could take them, she tried twice which was painful, before the nurse then took them on the third go in my other arm. Totally understand the need for training however, I had made it known that I hated needles and was not a good person to practice on, I unfortunately got up feeling very dizzy and sick, which for me was unnecessary.

Very happy with my consultant and the nursing staff but (as I have previously said in feedback) that waiting area (on the first floor) at Parkside really needs improvement. The reception staff are unfriendly, talk noisily amongst themselves, the coffee machine was broken today, there are sirens (or alarms or phone rings?) going off regularly which is not good for anxious patients
