Staff were exceedingly helpful, friendly and supportive, which resulted in a very positive experience. Two important feedback comments 1: telephone system in Belfast is not fit for purpose. In spite of many attempts, I always had to wait more than 15 minutes and (apart from once) did not get through (see below). NW system is much better, in that you can opt for a callback when your call reached top of the queue. 2: Co-ordination between NW and Belfast needs attention. I did not get any pre-op preparation advice, in spite of requesting this when appointment was arranged. (I think I fell between two stools, each side thinking the other had provided me with the info). When I realised some time later that I had not got anything, I could not get through on the phone in spite of repeated attempts. I eventually got through on one occasion to advise re: recent medication, but couldn't speak to an appropriate person. The telephonist was very helpful and arranged for it to be dealt with by email., but I still got no pre-op prep information..

We had an early scan today and were feeling quite stressed as I had been bleeding, but the sonographer, Vera, was incredibly kind, welcoming, and warm. She made us feel completely at ease and was so reassuring, exactly what you need in such delicate moments. The receptionist was also wonderful, she came over to chat with us while we were waiting, with that kind of genuine, old-fashioned kindness that’s so rare to find these days. Extremely happy with my experience at this clinic. Had a very painful tendinopathy which has now fully healed. I was given a detailed assessment, followed by targeted exercises with 1-1 PT, soft tissue massage and a course of shockwave therapy. I am not in pain any more and I keep doing the prescribed exercises to strengthen the muscle to avoid further issues.
