I honestly cannot recommend Miss Swan Kang and her team highly enough. From my very first consultation through to the day of my operation, I felt completely reassured and in such safe hands. Miss Kang was absolutely lovely, professional, caring and incredibly thorough. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions and made me feel completely at ease about having my eyelid surgery. The nurses were also amazing. Every single one of them was so kind, friendly and attentive, and they really looked after me from the moment I arrived. Nothing felt rushed and I was made to feel comfortable and cared for throughout the whole experience. I’m only at the beginning of my recovery, but I’m already so pleased with how everything has gone. The whole experience has been so much better than I imagined and I’m extremely grateful to Miss Kang and all of the wonderful nurses and staff who looked after me. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Miss Swan Kang and her team to anyone considering eyelid surgery.

Given the sensitive nature of an early pregnancy visit, I was disappointed at the level of care. Despite arriving 10 minutes early, no effort was made to update me that the sonographer was running late. It took for me to ask reception if there was a problem, given my additional wait. Understandably, my anxiety levels were high anyway, but only escalated due to failure to communicate with me. I would’ve imagine that your practice team would understand that their clients are, for the most part, under stress. Given my last pregnancy (which I had the nipt scan with you) was lost at 16w4d, it is understandable that I would be anxious. I had travelled from Stratford upon avon, a 45 minute journey, making sure I would arrive on time. I would expect that a private service would either a) run on time or b) be communicative and caring enough to update me when visibly distressed in the reception area.

The computer systems were down on my admission day, so the nursing staff were obviously stressed. When I was finally checked in, everything was OK. In theatre, I felt well looked after and everything was explained to me clearly. There was a painful delay in the supply of morphine when I got to recovery, resulting in a very painful few minutes. I'd have liked more clarity regarding the drugs I was given on discharge - I was told only the drug manes, and not what they are for. I was also not told about the need to keep warring my surgical stockings, and had taken them off before I read the paperwork telling me to keep them on for as long as I could tolerate them. Having been wheeled to the door after a 10 minute skin tag removal procedure in the past, it felt a bit odd to just ve left to walk out of my room alone. Nobody checked that I was being collected,

Live Changing! I was completely lost; I lost hope after so many attempts at therapy in different styles (CBT, EMDR, psychoanalytic) with so many different therapists. Nothing was working! I contacted Dr Jacquet to provide me with a clear conscience that I was trying, but to be honest, I didn't have any hope. And I meet Dr Jacquet, a strange character, totally unusual, kind, warm, with a French humour and an original thinker, and totally brutal in the way he delivers the truth. At times, when he provided me with feedback, I found myself wanting to laugh and cry simultaneously. Dr Jacquet is an expert in talk therapy, and he is an artist at giving you the most painful realisation with humour. I would recommend Dr Jacquet to everyone who wants to change, because once you hear what he says, you can't unhear it!

My appointment was about Eyes. Every appointment was routinely covered by the warning : Do not drive to this appointment. In two instances this was completely unnecessary, and I wasted £50 on taxi fares (total) - when I pointed this out, the staff laughed, and told me 'Oh, we always tell patients not to drive....." - even when they know that no drops would be put into my eyes. May I politely suggest that you adopt a more informed procedure? 2. On the occasions when eye drops were used, nobody told me that these take a long time (30 minutes or more) to be effective, so I was just parked in the waiting room getting more and more impatient, thinking angry thoughts about hopeless patient care. Better communication would have avoided that.

The whole experience was excellent both online and in clinic at middlesborough! I was anxious about the remote appointments as I’m not great with tech but the process was so easy to follow. The team were so personable and professional that I felt completely at ease and safe to open up. The clinic at middlesborough was also excellent, again I was anxious about the visit but there was plenty of information available about parking and the location was easy to find. Again the team were great and the facilities very welcoming. Overall the team made me feel safe and most of all seen and heard! Absolute professionals and wonderful people! I highly recommend skylight. 10/10!!

I have always found Dr Petzer's manner plain speaking yet reassuring, and this visit was no exception. He listens, and his advice is clear, unambiguous, and understandable. It is hard to separate doctor from outcomes, as so much turns on one's own state of health, but his advice and treatment regimen 3 years ago when I was seriously ill resulted in a rapid improvement leading to a stability that has continued to date.
