Dr. Malik is the ideal obstetrician. She is direct yet kind when providing her prognosis and advice. We appreciated Dr. Malik's candor and knew that we could count on her to be upfront with any concerns throughout the course of my pregnancy. She took time during every appointment to check on mine and my husband's physical, mental, emotional health and to offer advice. Dr. Malik takes the time to get to know her patients on a deep level, which enables her to provide holistic support. She could immediately tell when I felt nervous during my C-section and immediately took steps to help me feel calm and secure. She also went to great lengths to minimize my blood loss and the size of my scar, and provided clear post-op instructions to ensure a speedy recovery. We certainly recommend Dr. Malik to any potential patients and would work with her again in the future.

I have been a client of the surgery for many years going back to when Johnathan Richardson set up the practice just off Wilson's Corner. I continued to use the surgery when premises were established in Shenfield. It was when I experienced heart problems some 5 years ago that I found Dr. Athreya to be particularly helpful. He offered his private cell phone number should I need help or advice at this difficult time prior to surgery. This literally proved a lifeline. I saw Dr. Athreya on 4th December this year and as usual he was able to diagnose the problem and prescribe a treatment plan. Dr Athreya is an experienced, knowledgeable practitioner and a credit to the team at EPD. He puts patients at ease and is interested in their experiences. I was sorry to hear he was leaving for I feel sure he will be sorely missed.

I had a recent admission for a Discectomy under the care of Mr Manoj-Thomas. The entire experience from initial appointment to the actual surgery was just over 6 weeks. During this time I received regular communication to prepare me for my surgery. I was overwhelmed by the high standard of care I received as an in patient from the nursing and medical team. All professionals were courteous calm and maintained my dignity and trust during an anxious time and I am incredibly grateful. My follow up care is continuing and I was very impressed with the phone call I received 2 days post discharge to ensure I was continuing to recover. De Holden has done more than she knows. She has been the first doctor that has listened to me and made me not only feel heard but also like I’m a whole person not a group of symptoms and issues with no end in sight. Dr Holden has a lovely manner about her and actually cares about her patients. The whole process was simple and the best decision I have made. I now need to work on a more in depth action plan to more forward with but know I can go back and get help to more forward if needed. This appointment helped me more than any medication could. It gave me my sense of self and not like I was making it all up. I wholly 100% recommend Dr Holden if you are struggling with joint pain because she cares and that is unfortunate rare today

I recently visited Fitzrovia Hospital and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The facility is clean, well organised, and welcoming, but what truly stood out was the care of all staff, friendly, supportive and specifically the exceptional care provided by Kate. Kate was warm attentive, and incredibly professional throughout my visits. She took time to care for me and explain all things clearly, was patient and I felt hugely comfortable and supported. Her kindness and calm approach made a huge difference, and I genuinely felt in safe hands. Impossible to speak to anyone in Cambridge which was very frustrating. am used to being seen privately and this did not come up to the usual standard. Although the staff were very polite and friendly I felt that nobody was sure what to do and did not fill me with confidence. I have never gone privately and only seen the surgeon on the day of the operation with no follow up appointment with the actual surgeon. I was left with a cut on the skin to the left of my eye and an indentation across my eyebrow which I feel had probably been caused by the clamp used to keep my eyelid open. I was left feeling that for some reason the private sector in Cambridge was struggling. A great pity.

Efficient and professional experience, I am pain free in a much shorter than expected time! I’m an avid runner and dancer and was worried about my recovery following a foot neuroma removal which Mr Singh was going to conduct. He provided candid advice about attitude to recovery and set realistic expectations (that were very reasonable). I was back to dancing within 3-4 weeks of surgery which was priority #1, running is taking a bit longer (which was expected) but Sam gave me full confidence in follow ups that my recovery was going great and I should be back to running soon. A really positive experience overall and I am so glad I went through with his services.
