I made an appointment with Mr Navaratne at his Lindo Wing clinic in St Mary's hospital Paddington. I was looking for  a medical 'answer' to the pain I was in. I underwent a scan in an NHS hospital and was told that a hernia was ruled out which I accepted, but was very confused. Mr Navaratne diagnosed my Umbilical hernia and Diastasis recti. I cannot speak highly enough of the care I received from this appointment all the way through treatment and my Lindo wing stay. I underwent a laparoscopic repair of the umbilical hernia with correction of my diastasis recti. I was in  exceptionally skilled and compassionate professional. I was extremely anxious in my first consultation and also going into surgery, but my surgeon addressed this with remarkable patience, reassurance, and empathy. He took an interest in why I was feeling nervous and took the time to explain every detail thoroughly, answered all my questions with clarity and confidence, and made sure I felt genuinely heard and supported. His calm, reassuring presence made a massive  difference and immediately put me at ease. From a medical standpoint, his expertise is outstanding. The procedure was performed with the highest level of precision and care, demonstrating deep knowledge, advanced technical skill, and meticulous attention to detail. My recovery has been highly supported by Mr Navaratne and his team. He is truly amazing BUT  for me what sets him is the combination of exceptional surgical ability and genuine human kindness. It is rare to find a surgeon who is not only technically brilliant but also so attentive, respectful, and compassionate toward their patients. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone considering abdominal surgery. I had a video consultation with Dr Kallis. In the previous months I had a abdominal ultrasound scan and a CT abdomen and pelvis dual phase scan which appeared to show conflicting results. Dr Kallis explained the purpose and limitations of such scans as the reason for such conflicts, which I found understandable and reassuring. He also outlined the appropriate tests to take to clarify any remaining issues. Dr Kallis was patient and clear in responding to any questions I had. The organisation of the video consultation was very efficiently handled by his Medical Secretary. I would certainly recommend Dr Kallis

It was the best decision I have ever made from my first appointment with Mr Whittingham- Jones to my final appointment today first class service through out everything runs like clockwork excellent Surgeon & very good nursing staff . The place is immaculate. Would not hesitate to recommend this place high enough Mr Whittingham-Jones is a highly skilled surgeon the difference getting my left leg done by a surgeon was by far a 100% better than when my right leg was carried out by a robot .

I am transformed! I came to see Mrs Langton Hewer because I had suddenly gone completely deaf in one ear. She listened to me when I explained my anxieties and then examined my ears. She diagnosed otis externa which was causing pain and there was water behind the wax causing deafness. She then very carefully removed wax and debris from my ear and my hearing was immediately restored. I am so grateful that this was diagnosed so expertly and then sorted out immediately. I would strongly recommend her for ear problems and for removal of ear wax. Thank you.

Dr Vyas was exceptional with our 9 year old son who has chronic cough. He took time speaking to and examining him. He also undertook tests which all seemed appropriate and pertinent to what his presenting symptoms were. We saw him quickly and he maintained contact whilst the tests and results took place. He then took the time to explain everything and alleviated our concerns regarding any serious pathology. He then formed a clear and structured management plan. The 2 and half hour waiting time for a 5-minute test was severely dissatisfying. The endoscope tube was much too thick, thicker than it is necessary perhaps. Nowadays the medical technology is much advanced and I truly believe a thinner tube can do the job sufficiently as well as improving patient comfort.
