I cannot thank Dr Arun Shanmugandan enough for his diligent assessment and treatment. My condition was severe requiring multiple procedures under sedation as well surgery under general anaesthetic each completed by Arun. Arun has been exceptional in ensuring the issues were resolved completely. Even picking up on an irregularity in my blood results which led to finding an unrelated issue with my parathyroid gland. This has now also been resolved following Aruns referral, which I was also very extremely pleased with. Aruns patience and bedside manner are second to none, ensuring I understood each process every step of the way. As a 41 year old woman I was horrified to find I had so many health issues happening at once. However, Arun was able to resolve each of them in less than 6 months giving me confidence in my health moving forward. I feel 10 times better, I have so much more energy and a new lease for life. Thank you so much to Arun and his amazing team for all you have done, it has truly been life changing for me .

I have been so pleased with my experience of surgery by Dr Shilen Patel. At the first consultation he explained very clearly and in detail what my operation would entail and the possible risks, but without scaring me. This gave me a lot of confidence for the day of the operation, and the surgery went very well. When dressings were removed 10 days after my operation I was really surprised to see how neat the wound was, and it was healing nicely. I had very little pain, and Mr Patel explained to me at my follow up appointment that the tumour had been removed fully without rupturing, so there is very little chance of it returning. He had also explained how they had worked to ensure they did not damage a nearby nerve which I had been so relieved about. In conclusion, I was very pleased with the overall treatment received and with the care and respect I was shown. Thank you.

Dr Sotiris Nicholas provided my anaesthesia for a C-section at the Portland Hospital and his care was exceptional. He was incredibly warm and reassuring, explaining everything clearly so I knew exactly what to expect. The entire process was painless, calm, and far more relaxing than I could have imagined. He stayed with us throughout the C-section, and despite working closely with the obstetrician, he chatted to us the whole time, keeping us both calm and helping us truly enjoy the birth of our baby. He even went above and beyond by taking beautiful photographs of this incredibly special moment. We will always remember the role he played in our baby’s birth and could not recommend him more highly to anyone looking for the right anaesthetist to support them during a C-section.

Mr Naji and his team were truly amazing and provided a caring, informative and professional service through out. I visited Mr Naji for my on- going issues with endometriosis, he spent time discussing all options for me to consider to help with my issues and provided me with a clear outlook. I had the Da Vinci robotic arm surgery which removed my endometriosis. The care I received in hospital was incredible and the procedure was pain free. I have been able to return to my normal day to day activities within a few days of leaving hospital. This surgery has significantly improved my life in a very short space of time after having dealt with on going pain for years. We visited Children's Allergy Cambridge at the end of January 2026 with our 11-year-old daughter for suspected nut allergy testing. Consultant Gary and allergy specialist Rachael were incredibly friendly and attentive, putting my very worried daughter completely at ease—not like a scary doctor's visit at all. They managed the prick testing smoothly and professionally. It was very quick and efficient, with no waiting, but equally felt no hurry and could stay and chat and ask questions without ever feeling like we were outstaying. Clear follow-up advice. Highly recommend — efficient, friendly, caring, and well worth it.

Unfortunately, having burnt my fingers and subsequently acquired an infection, I rang the Centre at 10.00. am and asked for an urgent appointment to see a general practitioner. The receptionist offered me two appointments, one at 11.40 am and one at 1.00 pm. I took the earlier appointment and was seen within 10 minutes by Dr Porter. She was very efficient, warm and understanding. I was prescribed medication, which was supplied by the clinic's pharmacy and back in my office by midday. Overall the experience was excellent, with one frustrating aspect - initially I was told that my surgery would be at 15:00, and that I should attend the hospital at 13:00. A couple of days before the surgery, I was told that the surgery time had changed to 14:15 and I should attend at 12:15. I did so, and was then kept waiting for over an hour in the lobby as the room was not ready - giving the impression that it was unnecessary for us to have come early. A little frustrating, however the staff were incredibly friendly and kind.

Telephone answering machine usually and although tried to sort I was left without medication . Reacted to dressings again so not feeling good at moment 😩 Please remember conversation during the procedure makes it a lot more invasive. Hoping this time I will free from pain !

Dr Jacques is amazing. She is so friendly and makes you feel at ease straight away. She has great knowledge about the menopause and explores all the options to make sure she finds the perfect solution.
