She was also incredibly flexible, coordinating everything around my work schedule so that the process felt manageable rather than overwhelming. Dr Saad built a wonderful rapport not only with me but also with the family members who accompanied me. She made us all feel welcome, encouraged open conversation, and created an environment where concerns could be shared without hesitation. Her friendly disposition and great sense of humour meant I genuinely looked forward to seeing her — something I never expected to say about medical appointments. Her thoroughness was exceptional. When an initial ultrasound didn’t match her own clinical findings, she didn’t simply close the case. She pursued further investigation to ensure nothing was overlooked, and that level of diligence gave me enormous confidence in her judgement. She also made sure I had full access to my results, providing printed copies and emailing them to me so I could review everything afterwards. It was clear she wanted me to feel informed, empowered, and in control of my own care. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr Saad to anyone seeking breast care. I felt heard, respected, and genuinely cared for at every stage. She is an exceptional surgeon and an exceptional person.

Not sure where to start, but I honestly can’t recommend Dr Tan highly enough. As a boxer, he immediately understood the type of issue I was dealing with and knew exactly what to look for. I’d previously had nine months of physio and was constantly reassured that things were improving, but deep down I knew they weren’t. After an MRI, it became clear there were loose bodies in the joint. I was then referred to Dr Tan, who was confident they could be removed and that recovery would be quick and he was absolutely right. He was incredibly accommodating and even rearranged things to fit me in for surgery as I was due to go away, which I really appreciated. The surgery itself was a breeze, and I had no major pain afterwards, which was a huge relief. Everything moved quickly and smoothly, start to finish was all done within a month, which was amazing. Dr Tan was thorough, helpful, and flexible throughout, with a genuine focus on getting me back to sport as safely and quickly as possible. You can even Google or AI-search him and he comes up as one of the recommended elbow surgeons in the UK, so I’m very glad I was in his care. Brilliant doctor and a genuinely nice guy. I also want to mention his secretary, Julie, who was fantastic, always helpful, easy to reach, and happy to answer questions, even if it meant going back and forth. That level of support makes such a difference. This is exactly the kind of team you want looking after you. Thank you, Dr Tan and Julie. I’m very grateful, and I hope this review reassures others and gives them confidence that they’d be in great hands.

I visited the Evelina with my 15yr old daughter for an operation for her abdominal/umbilical hernia. Dr Thakkar gave us a brilliant explanation as to what he was going to do during the surgery and also spoke to us after and told us exactly what he did. His work was outstanding and now that my daughter has healed from the operation her self confidence has already improved and I cannot thank Dr Thakkar enough for that.

His professionalism makes a very worrying and difficult condition more manageable to cope with.

Everything was first class from reception to the nurse checks to the kind person who took me to surgery, the surgeon was nice to talk to, the team in the surgery room were efficient and kind. Back on ward the nurses were so lovely. I had a wobble (previous trauma) which unexpectedly made me emotional. The doctor was 8 mins late *(with no apology for the late running( and them seemed to have a different idea of why i was there to me - he thought he was just assessing skin tags rather than removing - and then said he didnt have time to remove them - yet he was the one running late. I will come for the follow up but after that will never use this practice again.
