Having previously undergone LASIK, I was initially concerned about how this might affect the procedure, but the team addressed all my questions and tailored the treatment perfectly. The surgery itself was quick, painless, and carried out with exceptional precision. I opted for EDOF toric lenses, which have made a remarkable difference to my vision—providing excellent clarity and reducing my dependence on glasses. Recovery was smooth and well-managed, with minimal discomfort. The team provided clear instructions and regular follow-ups, and within a few days, I noticed a significant improvement in my vision. Now I can enjoy sharp, vibrant sight without the hassle of glasses. Special thanks to Ranjit Sandhu, whose professionalism and expertise ensured everything went perfectly. Professor Kotecha was amazing, really professional and helpful throughout the entire journey. Starting with clear explanations of the procedure, what to expect for recovery and how to speed up healing and minimise pain as much as possible. He was really flexible with getting me booked in straight away, and the surgery went really smoothly. With only minimal pain afterwards, which I managed with Paracetamol and Ibuprofen. His post-op advice was great, clearly explaining and answering any questions I had. He has chosen a really great support team that helped in the surgery and recovery. I couldn't recommend him enough for how easy and smooth the process was, and how much the surgery has already improved my sleep apnea just a couple of weeks afterwards.

I had a great experience for my uni knee operation from start to finish and my knee is making great progress back to where I want it to be …. the rest is now down to me and to keep doing the physiotherapy / exercises. Mr Shah was recommended to me and I’m so glad he is my consultant surgeon and yes, my other knee, when the time is right which is looming, will definitely be under his knife .

Vast majority of the people were super friendly and made my hospital stay very comfortable. Hospital was clean and everyone was extremely professional. I did get the feeling though that you get rushed a bit when it gets to recovery and need to get going post-surgery which is not ideal as sometimes you are just not feeling fit enough or ready to go home straight away, especially after general anaesthesia. Overall extremely positive experience.

I received shoulder surgery and was able to be discharged the same day. All of the nursing staff were friendly and informative, the physio treatment and advice was informative. All the staff I came across were very friendly. I especially enjoyed the roast dinner which was hot when served (a new experience). I would highly recommend Mr Khan and the London Independent hospital.

Mr Bahram Fakouri

I'm currently under Mr Fakouri's care due to a (quite severe) herniated L5-S1 which has been causing me trouble all year. He was quickly able to book me in for a caudal epidural injection which is alleviating a great portion of the pain (able to bend down for the first time in 8 months). Mr Fakouri is a good listener, a very calm and professional presence. Would recommend :)

Everything was fantastic - wasted 6 months since original NHS Xrays that weren't correct & delays getting referred from my doctor. However, - 5 mins after start of appointment with consultant - I was having more Xrays taken - then back to the consultant - thorough explanation & surgery date booked for 4 weeks time - very impressive
