I was referred from my local hospital to Mr Nicol, due to his speciality in young adult hips and my diagnosis of hip dysplasia. In my initial consultation, Mr Nicol spent a good duration of time, explaining my hip dysplasia and potential treatment options. With my scans not showing damage to my hip labrum, we discussed my symptoms and likelihood of me experiencing potential trauma to my hip. Mr Nicol appeared confident I was presenting with pain of labrum pathology, something nobody had mentioned before. I went ahead with a hip arthroscopy which did indeed reveal a labral tear and labral detachment with was repaired successfully. Immediately following surgery and in follow up appointments, I’ve been able to contact Mr Nicol with any questions regarding my recovery and felt very reassured. Occasionally, I had some confusion with my initial treatment, discussion of this post surgery etc. but I do consider this is to be because of the complexity of hip bio-mechanics and treatments etc. I would highly recommend Mr Nicol for young people experiencing ongoing hip pain and looking for a second opinion or initial support with treatment options.

Glenda is an incredible psychodynamic therapist and has been highly influential in my life and I will be forever grateful for her knowledge, her patience and her kindness. Thank you for everything.

I have to say I find the doctor to be very thorough, informative and knowledgeable , he is direct ( in a positive way ) and he answered any queries we had in a very clear and concise manner which I appreciate . He is approachable and as a very concerned partner this Doctor has particularly helped with alleviating much of the stress that comes with your family being unwell. The visit revealed that the operation was a complete success and in order to optimise the results the doctor is revisiting his medication doses to go along with the positive results that the tests revealed today. He certainly aims for the best possible result whether that is through surgery or medications .

The doctor was able to assess my daughter and provide a diagnosis on the same day, which brought us much-needed clarity and reassurance after a very difficult few weeks. They were incredibly supportive, gentle and sensitive with my daughter, taking the time to explain clearly what was happening in a way that she could understand without feeling frightened or overwhelmed. We felt listened to throughout. The offer to support us further, including attending a video call with her school to help plan her return, was above and beyond what we expected and made us feel we were not navigating this alone.

I had a great experience at Cyprus ivf hospital. Aman was our coordinator and she was immediately responding to all our worries and questions. It is a clean and well equipped clinic. The prices were fixed and no extra expenses were placed. They let you now about the price from the beginning and you now as the procedure goes on, when and how much you have to pay. Transfer of the embryos took place only when the doctor was sure everything was ready. No rushing. They followed the correct protocol for my case and were always there for us any day any time!
