Thank You very much for your review
The care and support of Dr Siddiqi and his staff was amazing from when I was referred to him. He promised 17 days of investigatory work and within that time everything moved smoothly and efficiently to determine a diagnosis and within the 17 day window.

Thank You so much for your kind words - we at BlackHeath strive to do our best for all our patients
Nice and kind

thank you :)
Dr Siddiqi has explained everything fully in a way I could understand and is organising a care plan re venesection and scan and stuffs. He also listened to what I said and also how I was feeling. Excellent I feel at last something is being done and I feel safe and confident with dr siddiqi and not scared. Very thorough Dr Siddqi is going to follow up in about 4 months max unless scans need attention sooner.. Kind regards Brenda D.

thank you very much for your kind words - i strive to do my best for all my patients
Dr Saddiqi has a wonderful way of making you feel completely at ease. His friendly, jovial personality really helps take the stress out of the consultation. Even when he recently had to deliver difficult news that the treatment hadn’t worked as we had hoped, he kept me feeling positive and hopeful for the next steps. He recently went out of his way to call me early for a phone consultation just to share the good news that my new treatment is showing promising results. He seemed genuinely happy for me, and talking to him felt like talking to a friend. He explains everything so clearly that even at 81, I always feel fully informed. A truly exceptional Doctor.

Your words leave me speechless and I can't thank you enough
It was a phone consultation with my haematologist. He was very professional and thorough explaining everything to me.

many thanks for your kind words
This was a telephone consultation. Dr Siddiqi was punctual and called me on time. This was important because I was working and taking time out of my working day to attend the clinic. He was very professional in his delivery and was curios when I explained recent symptoms. He weighed several options and took time to explain before taking the least intrusive course of action. He made sure I understood how he reached his decision and made a further appointment with me to review the situation. He was patient with me and answered all my questions. I left the clinic with clarity and reassurance and I felt listened to which is rare in the current NHS climate. I will rate my experience 10/10.

Thank you very much for your kind words... Listening to patients and making them feel at ease is as important as planning management steps to improve their clinical situation...
Long chat about my current condition and whst we will Do if my treatment needs chsnging

🔬 Understanding Inherited Platelet Function Disorders — A Quick Clinical Snapshot Always good to pause and revisit the fundamentals. This simple comparison highlights four important inherited platelet disorders we encounter in clinical practice: Glanzmann’s Thrombasthenia, Bernard–Soulier Syndrome, Gray Platelet Syndrome, and Hermansky–Pudlak Syndrome. From key diagnostic clues — such as thrombocytopenia, platelet morphology, and aggregation patterns — to underlying genetic causes, each condition carries its own distinctive profile. Recognising these differences is essential for accurate diagnosis, guiding further testing, and planning holistic patient care. These conditions may be rare, but early recognition can make a meaningful difference for patients navigating bleeding symptoms, multisystem involvement, or complex diagnostic journeys.
