A huge thank you to Dr. Giorgio and the amazing team at the cancer unit at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. At my latest appointment on the 15th of May, Dr. Giorgio reassured me how well I’m doing and gave me the fantastic news that I remain cancer-free and still in remission.
I saw the oncologist who explained my current health and what was the next steps. He answered all my questions in a way which I could understand.

I had an excellent experience. Professor Preston assembled an excellent team for my surgery Ashe everything worked with absolute precision. Professor Preston was reassuring and went beyond expectations making considerable time for checkup during my 7 days in hospital. The staff was extremely positive and expert. I always felt I was in the best hands and that it was a true team effort. The sunny dispositions of the staff and their gentle sense of humour set me up for success. I am extremely grateful to have Professor Preston as my doctor. I would not have wanted anyone else, he is the best. Also, Andreea is such a fantastic team member. She is a real advocate for the patients and maintains consistent contact, pushing things through, checking in on status and trying to make things convenient. She is sensitive and passionate about her work and a real pleasure to work with. Across the board the team has built a strong and integrated ecosystem for care that I believe is peerless. I’ll be writing more in the coming days to relate the full scope of excellence I experienced.
