Dr. Matthew Leech

Dr. Matthew Leech is a dedicated GP committed to providing the highest quality of care, with a strong focus on helping his patients lead happy and healthy lives. He believes in the importance of attentively listening to his patients in order to fully understand their health concerns and priorities, ensuring the most effective treatment plans.

Dr. Leech is experienced in treating all minor illnesses and is also skilled at helping patients optimise their long-term health conditions. In addition to general practice, he has a keen interest in lifestyle medicine and longevity, working with patients to proactively improve their health and prevent future illnesses.

With extensive experience as both a private and NHS GP, Dr Leech offers patients the opportunity to plan their healthcare and access the appropriate treatments. He is a partner at an NHS GP practice in Lymm, and also works as a GP trainer and medical educator. Dr. Leech practices privately at Spire Cheshire Hospital in Stretton and Circle Cheshire Clinic in Northwich.

His professional areas of interest include women’s health, particularly in menopause management and HRT, for which he holds a diploma from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Dr. Leech also has expertise in men’s health, musculoskeletal disorders, and mental health concerns.

Dr. Leech's passion lies in empowering his patients to take control of their health through lifestyle medicine, nutrition, and psychology. He works with patients on an ongoing basis, offering comprehensive support for their health needs across a range of disciplines, including cardiology, respiratory medicine, digestive disorders, bones and joints, mental health, and male health, including prostate disorders.
