Professor Robert Jones is professional, friendly, and reassuring, giving clear explanations to patients. Patients report excellent and faultless experiences, feeling comfortable and at ease. He shows outstanding surgical skill for gallbladder removal and hernia repair. These procedures often use laparoscopic key-hole surgery.
I had my gallbladder removed, and after around two weeks of feeling a bit sore, I can’t believe how good my stomach feels. No more pain, and I can eat whatever I want… I’ve really pushed it with lamb shanks, pizzas, and Indian takeaway - all of which were impossible before. Absolutely chuffed. Brilliant work by a brilliant surgeon, backed up by a brilliant team at Spire.
Excellent communication - extremely professional but approachable
Explained everything clearly, put me at ease throughout the whole process
The procedure was expertly undertaken and fully explained. Recovery occurred as expected. Well done!
Professor Rob Jones is obviously a very skilled surgeon, but he is also able to explain to patients in relatively simple terms what their surgery will involve and why it may be necessary. He has very good communication skills and empathy. I felt in safe hands throughout my surgery, which was actually my first ever operation. I would not hesitate to recommend him if I ever have friends needing a similar operation.

V kind words. Thank you very much.
