I turned to Professor Robert Jones after long waits and endless disappointments with the NHS. He immediately diagnosed my severe right-sided rib pain radiating to my back and performed my gallbladder surgery. Since July 13th, I haven't had a single pain! I am infinitely grateful to him for his exceptional care.

Following a prolonged period of persistent but not acute abdominal pain, a HIDA scan identified a poorly functioning gallbladder, leading to laparoscopic removal. The surgery has completely resolved the ongoing discomfort and I am thrilled with the outcome. The surgeon was excellent throughout, professional, reassuring and clear at every stage. I could not have asked for better care or a better result.

Prof Jones and his theatre team provided a first class experience from the first consultation onwards. All the procedures were explained in full and the possible risks were highlighted. The surgery was performed expertly and quickly and I was able to go home the same day. My recovery was quick and the surgical dressings were overseen by Spire's Outpatients Department. A minor issue with the healing of one part of the wound was dealt with sympathetically and efficiently. Prof Jones subsequently saw me in clinic to check on the wound and to provide reassurance. I would not hesitate to recommend Prof Jones' services.
