Dr Dushyant Sharma

Dr Dushyant Sharma is a highly experienced consultant physician in endocrinology, diabetes and general internal medicine. They specialise in diabetes, pituitary and adrenal disorders, and thyroid problems. They are also expert in the treatment of hypogonadism, polycystic ovary syndrome, menstrual irregularities and post-menopausal symptoms.

Dr Sharma is a leading name in education. They have been the Royal College of Physicians' College tutor for the Royal Liverpool University Hospital and the hospital's lead for diabetes education. Additionally, they are both the founder and director of Medexcell Education, an organisation that runs training programmes on leadership and teaching skills, as well as on critical appraisal of medical literature, for medical professionals, as they strongly believe in evidence-based practice.

Dr Sharma has been Clinical Director of the Endocrinology and Diabetes department at Royal Liverpool University Hospital, Liverpool and continues to actively contribute to clinical research. Their academic work is published in peer-reviewed journals.
