Dr Claire Dubois is a experienced Consultant Rheumatologist with specialist expertise in various aspects of rheumatology, including: back pain, connective tissue disorders, inflammatory rheumatic disorders, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and soft tissue rheumatism. Her expertise extends to general adult rheumatology, with a particular interest in early inflammatory arthritis.

Dr Dubois completed her medical degree at St Mary's Hospital Medical School, Imperial College, London, in 1998 following her BMedSci degree in 1997. She later completed training in general medicine, ultimately specialising in rheumatology. She became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2003 and completed her Master’s degree in Rheumatology in 2006. In 2009, she successfully completed dual specialty training in rheumatology and general medicine.

After a period that included a year of maternity leave and professional experience in Sydney, Dr Dubois was appointed as a consultant rheumatologist at the Royal Liverpool Hospital in 2012. Within the NHS, she holds the position of consultant rheumatologist at Broadgreen Hospital in Liverpool. At this hospital, she oversees the early inflammatory arthritis service, demonstrating her commitment to advancing specialised care. In addition to her NHS responsibilities, Dr Dubois dedicates her expertise to private rheumatology clinics at Spire Murrayfield Hospital on the Wirral.
