Mr Amr removed my Gallbladder. He had a very good and brief way of describing things. I really appreciate his blunt facts but also his dry sense of humour. His confidence really made me feel at ease. Staff seem to respect him which makes it easier on patients. He was very visible both before and after surgery.

First met Mr Amr 3 years ago, he was very understanding and explained in great detail about the surgery and risks. I'm now 15months post op and my weight loss surgery has been a success even better than I ever expected, Mr Amr has litterally saved my life and thank him so much

I have met Mr Amr a couple of times now during my weight loss journey and I have found him to be very understanding and non-judgemental. He listened to me and made me feel relevant. Bariatric surgery is major life changing surgery and I trust Mr Amr to carry out that surgery on me.

I find Dr Amr, straight forward speaking. He tells you exactly what to expect and what not to expect. He prepares you for on how much your body will change and explains the amount of loose skin you should expect. And does advise you that NHS does not provide skin removal as its is classed as cosmetic. Which I find exactly what is needed as it prepares you mentally on what to expect. I found him amazing and down to earth

I wanted to take a moment to share what this journey has meant to me and to sincerely thank you and your team for being part of one of the biggest decisions of my life. I’ve battled with my weight for as long as I can remember. In July 2022, I hit my breaking point after seeing a photo of myself at my heaviest. I was ashamed, overwhelmed, and completely defeated. I avoided mirrors and felt exhausted and unhappy. Over the years, I had tried everything—diets, medications, fitness programs—but nothing gave me lasting change. I felt stuck. Choosing bariatric surgery was not an easy decision. It came with tears, fear, doubt, and a lot of soul-searching. I know not everyone understands or agrees with this choice, but for me it was never about appearance. It was about choosing a healthier, happier, longer life. It was about being here for my family and the people I love. It was about choosing myself. From my very first appointment, the care, compassion, and reassurance I received from you, the consultant, and the entire team made such a difference. Every question was answered, every worry was taken seriously, and I always felt supported rather than judged. The kindness, professionalism, and encouragement shown to me before and after surgery helped me feel confident in my decision and safe throughout the process. The fear of not being present for my family someday scared me far more than surgery ever could. Thank you for the exceptional care, guidance, and support you have all shown me. You haven’t just helped me through a procedure—you’ve helped give me a real chance at a ne...

He demonstrated extensive knowledge, took the time to explain everything clearly, and answered all my questions without rushing. His calm and reassuring manner made me feel comfortable and confident in my care.
