About Dr Iaisha Ali
Dr Iaisha Ali is a consultant Dermatologist (doctor specialising in the treatment of skin conditions) in London. She specialises in treating acne, hair loss (alopecia) and hormone related skin disorders. She also conducts mole checks, mole mapping and the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer as well as minor surgery.
She was head of the dermatology department at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust ( 2012-2017). She led the cancer service at Charing Cross Hospital, one of UK's busiest centres, undertaking a regular operating list for skin surgery.
Dr Ali completed her dermatology training in Oxford and was awarded a research degree from Oxford University for her research investigating hair changes in women after the menopause.
She runs a specialist hair clinic for hair loss disorders and excessive hair growth. Dr Ali is passionate about research. She has published and presented her work extensively, both nationally and internationally. Dr Ali has been past Clinical Lead for the British Hair and Nail Group. She is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists, Royal College of Physicians and Royal Society of Medicine and American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr Ali’s expertise has solved my various skin issues that have cropped up in recent years; largely due to severe sun damage when I was a child… Skin cancer had become an ongoing problem and I am grateful to be able to have regular check ups with her with this in mind. Dr Ali is very experienced any I think it’s fair to say that my skin looks and feels younger today, than 10 years ago.
