Shamina inspired me by her attention and attitude. Her clear precise honest and patient consultation enabled me to feel relaxed and confidant by her explanation of my treatment at every stage .

Communication was a little patchy and sometimes emails and requests took re prompting. However she really took care to give me the best outcome in terms of which lenses to use and I was very happy with the result. Her manner is pleasant though you have to ask to get information. I would definitely recommend her.

I just want to say that my cataract surgery was a great experience overall and I can see better and I don't need put as much effort into seeing. I no longer feel tired by my eyesight. My vision is now brighter overall I felt informed and secure throughout and I am glad I did It and definitely recommend Sharmina Khan. Everyone at the hospital was great very professional friendly and treated me very nicely The surgery I didn't feel ant pain ant any time The recovery was very easy and smooth. The nurse looking after me from Colombia was really kind and lovely as I was a bit stressed.

I had cataract surgery. It was so much easier and pleasanter than I anticipated. The appointments were conveniently spaced. There were no gaps between one eye being done and then the other which made life so much easier. Healing appears to have gone smoothly and the overall results I am delighted with and I haven't eyesight like this since I was three years old. So I don't need glasses now for distance and I do use cheapo ready readers for my phone. I have even done some quite detailed sewing now 10 days following surgery. The nurses Angela and Esther were great and told my husband he would have to do the cooking. They were great at explaining everything. The sedation was incredible because it was steady and just hovered between reality and being a little bit out. I didn't feel a thing which was great. My recovery the second time felt quicker and that was because I was less nervous and more confident dealing with my eye.

Had cataract surgery to both eyes simultaneously last week and 7 days later the vision is brilliant, I can see to read as well including small print smaller than I expected! I can see car number plates at the end of the road.On the day of surgery I didn't feel a thing it was brilliant and the sedation was really good. Everything was excellent and could not have wished for anything better. Really glad I came here now. Madonna the nurse Cumberledge who looked after me was great and nothing was too much trouble and she wrote out a plan for the post-op eyedrops. The right eye is was my worse eye is now my better eye.

Sharmina is a colleague I have known for over 10 years. During that time she has always put the interests of her patients first and gone the extra mile for them. She is an excellent cataract surgeon and her refractive outcomes speak for themselves. I would happily refer my friends and family to her for an opinion and surgery.
