Mr Hussain Alnajjar

Mr Hussain Alnajjar is a Consultant Urological and Andrological Surgeon at University College London Hospitals (UCLH) and an Honorary Associate Professor at University College London (UCL). His clinical practice focuses on complex andrology and urological surgery within a tertiary referral setting.

He completed a BSc in Medical Sciences at the University of St Andrews, followed by his MBBS at University College London in 2005. His postgraduate training includes a Master of Surgery in Urology with Distinction from the University of Edinburgh and a specialist Fellowship in Andrology at UCLH.

Mr Alnajjar’s clinical expertise includes surgical management of Peyronie’s disease, penile prosthesis implantation, male infertility, penile and testicular cancer, and male genital reconstruction. He is one of the highest-volume penile prosthesis implanters in the UK, performing both penoscrotal and infrapubic approaches.

He has received multiple awards for clinical and academic achievement and is widely published in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks. Mr Alnajjar is a national and international speaker and currently serves as Secretary of the Andrology Executive Committee of the British Association of Urological Surgeons. He is closely involved in training senior fellows and proctoring complex andrological procedures. Outside of medicine, he enjoys music, playing instruments, and travelling.
