I saw Mr Chahal yesterday after struggling with ankle problems since pregnancy, and more recently suffering two injuries that have caused my ankle to give way without warning. The pain and swelling have become overwhelming, especially from midday into the evening, and I finally knew it was time to seek help. From the moment I met Mr Chahal, I felt completely at ease. He was incredibly kind, calm, and transparent, taking the time to explain his thoughts clearly and compassionately. There was absolutely no pressure to make any decisions, and as someone who struggles with anxiety, this meant more to me than I can put into words. He explained possible causes and treatment options in a way that was reassuring rather than alarming, and I never once felt panicked. Sadly, some consultants can make you feel as though you’re being dramatic or exaggerating your symptoms, but Mr Chahal was the complete opposite. There was no judgement, only understanding, respect, and genuine care. I felt truly listened to, and that alone was incredibly comforting. Mr Chahal is everything you would hope for in a consultant. Calming, honest, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He has a quiet confidence that immediately builds trust, and it’s clear he is an expert in his field. I left my appointment feeling hopeful, supported, and reassured that I am finally in the right hands. Thank you so much, Mr Chahal. I have recently had a hysterectomy performed by Professor Bunkheila. The operation was a great success and I cannot thank the Professor enough for his compassion and care from my initial appointment through to the post op consultation. Professor Bunkheila was the nicest gentleman to deal with, listened to all my concerns and was reassuring and professional when discussing all the pros and cons to having such a procedure. His kind, caring manner made me feel so comfortable and after many years of extreme pain and debilitating medical conditions, I felt finally that someone was actually listening to me and could make a difference. I was very poorly at my initial consultation and now feel 100% recovered and it has been truly life changing. Professor Bunkheila and his medical team of anaesthetists were wonderful on the two occasions of my surgery as I was very nervous, but both times they were so reassuring. All the staff were very kind and efficient, my personal ward room was clean and the catering was very good. I would also like to thank a particular gentleman called Anil who performed my pre operative assessment blood tests, I am very needle phobic and was terrified but he ensured that it was done swiftly and with such kindness towards me, I was so grateful.

i can’t fault the friendliness and cleanliness of the building, as both were fine. However i’m personally disappointed in the follow up for my appointment, without going into too much personal detail, my issue involved changing mental health medication which needed close monitoring, i found it challenging having to email a generic email to discuss my private information with admin staff on a friday morning after my appointment , and was left all weekend without any feedback, i ended up getting a generic email on monday morning. this could have been detrimental to a vulnerable person changing a medication so flippantly and am quite disappointed that this GP didn’t take this into consideration and lacked holistic care. i had clarity not to change my medication on a whim on the advice of the gp as i felt the support wasn’t there. duality healthcare could be positive to a physical ailment but not in this case. i was actually going to join as a member but decided against this due to my experience with duality.

We needed a private GP to carry out an indept medocal assessment for my mother. Then i found Dr Mahmood online and contacted the clinic. The replies were prompt and an appointment was given to us as we live outside London. On the day of assessment, Dr Mahmood was so kind to my mum and listened to all our concerns about her and showed so much empathy. The assessment was not rushed, he asked how best he can assist us and showed so much kindness. We couldn't get our nhs gp report in time for Dr Mahmood to finalise his report which was a delay on our part, Dr Mahmood contacted us to find out what was happening which was nice of him. And when we received the report i was shocked of the amount of work that Dr Mahmood put into it. The report looks like a company's policy 😆 it was ver thorough. Can i mention that his secretary or whoever handles his communications is so kind and answers all questions swiftly as well. I will 10000000💯 recommend Dr Mahmood and his team. Thank you 😊

I recently completed a course of CBT sessions with Dr Sharon Pettit, focusing on managing my anxiety, worry, and rumination. When I first began, I struggled significantly with social interactions, often feeling socially awkward and fixating on past conversations. My mind would race with worries about things entirely beyond my control, pushing my anxiety levels to an all-time high. It felt like I was in a constant state of fight or flight, from the moment I woke up until I went to bed, leaving me completely drained. Now, almost six months later, I've gained valuable tools to help manage my thoughts and emotions. While I wouldn’t say I’m completely cured, I feel about 75% better and am now enjoying a much happier life. I've decided to take a break from CBT for the time being, but I'm committed to returning if I notice my anxiety levels rising again.

Asked to be 15 mins early for scan, but then not called until 30 mins or so after time of appointment without any prior indication of running late (perhaps because it was at 6pm ). Head scanner was still busy so junior radiologer kindly chatted to me for 15 mins after I'd changed to kill time. Having been told it would take 15 mins, scan took about 45 mins and team forgot to talk to me or put music on despite me saying I was a bit claustrophic (but can get by ok). Then at 8pm, no doubt in rush to scan next person, they didn't remove cannula so i wandered around to find another staff member to do that who happily obliged. Not a major problem but not up to Cleveland usual standards. Staff were all very friendly though, but perhaps clinic shouldn't book in patients at end of day if they can't really handle them properly.

When I entered the premises I couldn’t believe the transformation that had taken place as I was familiar with the building when it was a hairdressing salon. It was spacious, immaculate and tranquil. Having been quite anxious before my appointment, I quickly relaxed as all the staff were extremely friendly and kind. All the tests were performed swiftly and smoothly with every concern for my comfort and my understanding of the procedures involved. Mrs. Matthews explained my forthcoming cataract surgery clearly, comprehensively and reassuringly and I was very pleased to be offered the surgery I such a short space of time. All in all I couldn’t have wished for a better experience with North Wales Eye Specialist Centre.

Rishi did a great surgery on my badly shattered clavicle which was broken in multiple places. It was pinned together nicely without needing to take bone graph from elsewhere on my body. He also did some ligament reconstruction and soft tissue repair. The scar was very neat and healed well and I'm very pleased with the result. I don't notice the plate and I'm expecting a full recovery. The whole process was also quick and efficient. Surgery was 2 days after initial consultation. He explained the process clearly and candidly which was reassuring. If I were to break the other clavicle I know who my preferred surgeon would be.

I really appreciated being able to get a quick appointment and having my scan done by a doctor radiologist who could then explain what he saw and give me some advice. The scan was done quickly and it allowed me to promptly get the scan done for my GP. I was super pleased that the report arrived quickly, it was there in my emails before I even got home! There was a chaperone there too, the clinic was nice and the receptionist was very warm and friendly and efficient. All in all a great discovery for me as I felt the prices were very reasonable for private scans so I could use the service for regular health checks..

I cannot recommend Dr Vinit Sawhney highly enough. She is incredibly patient, understanding and extremely thorough. From our first appointment, she took the time to really listen to me, answer all my questions and explain treatment options without ever making me feel rushed. I felt completely safe and reassured while under her care. Her calm manner and expertise made a stressful situation so much easier to manage. She is professional, compassionate and genuinely cares about her patients. She is an excellent cardiologist and a lovely doctor and I am very grateful to have been under her care.

Mr. Ho is an excellent communicator with a very calm (and calming) demeanor, and helped me decide on which lenses to opt for, what goals to aim for, and what to expect based on a variety of options. Throughout the procedures he communicated with me and made sure they were as stressless as possible. Very happy to see Miss Fraser 6 weeks after my fascial sling which has completely stopped my stress incontinence . I'm pleased to say my operation has been a success more than I ever expected and Miss Frazer and her team have been amazing from beginning to end . Wish I had this done sooner rather than waiting after 10 years of bladder issues since child birth . Oli has really helped me with my recover (Adductor) set out specific rehab plans for me to follow on the robust athlete app ( extra cost ) but definitely worth it and easy to follow, I couldn’t ask for much from him and his staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone with an injury and especially any athletes out there as Oli has plenty of experience working with top athletes.
