This is my second surgery in the Cleveland Clinic and once again It was without fault and without equal. All the staff from the nurses, surgeon, anaesthetist, porters & dinner team are so friendly, kind and display genuine care to patients/my family. My surgery with Dr Nikolaos was easy, quick and surprisingly a nice day despite circumstances of my health! He is an amazing professor with a keen interest in rib problems which is rare in itself but he was also very bubbly, reassuring and friendly i look forward to seeing what he publishes next on all things slipped rib syndrome as this painful condition has been very challenging to me and he was the one to fix it! Excellent visit everything was explained clearly- Mr Dehne was happy to talk through my treatment I was very grateful for the care and attention that he gave me during and after my hip operation. I travelled quite a long way to Birmingham to have my operation and would just say that being discharged on the following day as the operation was slightly uncomfortable due to the long distance from the hospital.

I visited Mr Barrass for kidney stones, bladder stones and thickening of the walls of my bladder. Mr Barrass explained what the next procedure was going to be and arranged blood and urine test plus having a contrast scan. I felt completely at ease with Mr Barrass which gave me complete trust in him for carrying out the proposed procedure which he felt necessary in my case.

Mr Loh carried out revision surgery on my chest following an incomplete excision carried out by a surgeon in London. So my anxiety levels were quite high but Mr Loh's kindness, empathy and confidence at our consultation and on the day of surgery made me feel a lot better. He also gave me very clear instructions on taking care of the scar to optimise its appearance.
