Had a very warm welcoming at Abbington house, staff and peers were very nice. Room was nice, quite overwhelming to start with, with it being my first time at rehab. I then started to feel more comfortable with the help of the staff and my peers, putting me out of my comfort zone probably was the best thing they could of done otherwise I wouldn’t of been so open. Staff very accommodating, my therapist was very empathetic, I got on with her very well, opened up slowly but eventually we got there. I still feel I have stuff to work on, my co dependency and self love but I know that will come in time, from outside sources, just think they should not of mentioned that I would be getting DBT therapy whilst I was here as that was one of the selling points to me coming to Abbington house. The only other down side was prior to coming in I was told I would have at least one, one to one a week. But that did not happen for the the first 3 weeks, so felt a bit let down, so did my parents which they then raised there concerned to Mikey, who was quick to come up with 2 options to compensate this, which I thought was very good.

Dr Usamah Jannoun

Dr Jannoun has taken his time to understand my issues and also to examine me thoroughly, he took his time in our consultation to go through my worries and concerns but also ran several tests with me to understand my issues. He took on bored my worries and went about and beyond to accommodate. Dr Jannoun referred me for an MRI and I requested another MRI which he was happy to approve as I had concerns about my mid back. Dr Jannoun provided me with options based on my MRI and referred me to specialists and advised me on all the risks regarding procedures. I went for my procedure for an epidural and it is safe to say I was in safe hands. The Dr walked me through the process and was not as bad as I imagined. I am currently on my road to recovery but it is safe to say I wouldn’t have been here without Dr Jannoun.

I saw Mr Wu for my carpal tunnel syndrome which I had had for many years. I was just ignoring it as I didn’t want surgery. When I first saw him he was so professional and reassuring. I had my nerve conduction tests done and it demonstrated moderate carpal tunnel syndrome. I then assumed I could leave well alone and he very kindly and assertively said I should have surgery because if I left it the surgery might not be so successful. I had endoscopic surgery under a local block. The whole surgical experience was amazing. His whole theatre team were kind and efficient. My symptoms were cured immediately and I had my first good nights sleep for years. At 6 weeks the hand has healed so well and I’m even back to playing golf. The whole experience from beginning to end has been fabulous. Thankyou Mr Wu

TCM Healthcare Fertility Clinic

I reached out to TCM after I was told that I had a very low AMH and AFC and that I would likely go through early menopause. This caused me a lot of stress as I had always had regular periods and had never considered that I may have fertility troubles. Prof Au talked me through my results and educated me on AMH as a poor predictor for menopause. He advised me that I would need further bloods to fully assess my fertility and I was able to request them from my GP. Following this he reviewed my bloods with me again, without charge, and advised me that everything was normal and I did not need to be seen at TCM. I am very grateful for all the help, support and education. Thank you!

The receptionist and the nurse were lovely. However, the consultant made me feel like I wasn’t heard at all, I didn’t really get to talk about anything I wanted to talk about because every time I tried to I was cut off and told I would have to speak to someone else about that but I was confused as I was speaking about the issue I was there for. I also felt like I was penalised for my gp making a mistake and did feel very uncomfortable by the end of the consultation. Which made me quite sad as this is an issue I’ve been dealing with for a couple of years and I feel like I’m still getting no where with it.

As a VERY nervous dental patient, I was referred to Vermillion by my own dentist for a wisdom tooth extraction with sedation. No-one likes dental treatment, but I could not recommend Vermillion anymore than I can do, the patient experience was seamless and extremely gentle and caring. It really was! From entering the practice and the friendly receptionist, through to consultion and surgery with Dr Fiona, as well as a follow-up to assuage my anxiety of the recovery of extraction. A 5-star treatment all round.

She fully supported my decision to have a mastectomy rather than a lumpectomy and was equally supportive in agreeing to further surgery to achieve symmetry. Her approach is both professional and reassuring, and she has a wonderfully warm, down-to-earth personality that immediately puts you at ease. I felt listened to, respected, and very well cared for throughout my treatment.

Dr Margarita was very knowledgeable and kind. I would definitely recommend coming to the Lantern Clinic. I felt listened too and she emphasised as a woman with my issues. I had plenty of time to chat and didn’t feel rushed,. Dr Margarita devised a plan for me to follow and recommended a gold standard brand of supplements I should start. I am booked in for a follow up appointment in several weeks time, to discuss how my treatment plan went and if I saw improvements.

Absolutely fantastic. The staff at Lanthon were so friendly and it was a beautiful, calming space. The whole process felt very smooth and each step was clearly explained to me. I also received my results super quickly (just 2 days!) and loved how they came with a detailed report from a doctor, explaining them all in a personalised manner. 10/10 all round!

I felt that I was given time to go through my issues and that the impact the insoles would have was thoroughly explained. 3 weeks later and my feet are already in heaven! Yes, it is expensive but I wish I had taken the plunge years ago! I thoroughly recommend Foot Factor.
