From the very beginning, he brought a level of thoughtfulness, expertise, and genuine humanity that is exceptionally rare. Navigating the mental health system has been one of the most challenging experiences of our lives, but Dr Masud has been a constant source of clarity, reassurance, and support. He didn’t just go above and beyond - he became a lifeline for us. His careful assessment of my son, his willingness to think deeply about the right clinical pathway, and his unwavering dedication to ensuring my son received the help he urgently needed have been nothing short of extraordinary. At every step, he balanced professional rigour with kindness and empathy, always making us feel heard, supported, and understood. As parents, we often felt overwhelmed by a system that can be confusing and fragmented, yet Dr Masud stood firmly beside us throughout. He advocated for my son, guided us through crucial decisions, and made himself available in moments when we felt lost (even at 1am in the morning). His involvement quite literally changed the trajectory of my son’s care and gave us hope at a time when hope was in short supply. Dr Masud is a shining light in a very difficult landscape. We would recommend him wholeheartedly to any family in need of a clinician who is not only exceptionally skilled, but also profoundly caring. We will forever be grateful for what he has done for our son -and for us. We are only at the start of our journey, but we feel in safe hands knowing he is with us. Thank you.

Sadia is an extraordinary person and consultant- we couldn’t imagine the birth of our son without her! Following IVF I had quite a few anxieties about pregnancy and birth (my greatest life fear!) and choosing to work with Sadia was the best decision. Throughout our ongoing appointments she helped interpret scans/ test results, monitor concerns and was available on Whatsapp whenever we needed (weekend and nights included). I fell unwell 5 days before I was due to go in for our c section but throughout this experience in hospital Sadia was there to lead the treatment plan and it was incredibly reassuring to have a constant, expert guiding next steps with someone who knew me and the baby well already. The c section itself was amazing and the most incredible and surreal experience of my life (not the scary surgery I’d built it up to be) and this was largely down to Sadia’s professional, calm and practical approach in every step, alongside the great team she assembled for the operation. My recovery has been far better than expected and the scar incredibly neat. Looking to the future, I would 100% work with Sadia if we manage to have another child and recommend her to anyone looking for continuous and amazing support and expertise throughout pregnancy and birth. We can’t thank Sadia enough!

Had a very warm welcoming at Abbington house, staff and peers were very nice. Room was nice, quite overwhelming to start with, with it being my first time at rehab. I then started to feel more comfortable with the help of the staff and my peers, putting me out of my comfort zone probably was the best thing they could of done otherwise I wouldn’t of been so open. Staff very accommodating, my therapist was very empathetic, I got on with her very well, opened up slowly but eventually we got there. I still feel I have stuff to work on, my co dependency and self love but I know that will come in time, from outside sources, just think they should not of mentioned that I would be getting DBT therapy whilst I was here as that was one of the selling points to me coming to Abbington house. The only other down side was prior to coming in I was told I would have at least one, one to one a week. But that did not happen for the the first 3 weeks, so felt a bit let down, so did my parents which they then raised there concerned to Mikey, who was quick to come up with 2 options to compensate this, which I thought was very good.

Upon arriving at Genesis care I was impressed by its warm, friendly and immaculate environment. The little touches like a jigsaw for patients to work on and the endless offers of coffee and biscuits were appreciated. The Staff and radiographers were incredibly professional and so very pleasant. They quickly put my mind at rest. They were really focused on making sure I was ok during the whole treatment journey. While undergoing treatment I got to meet a Penny Brohn counsellor which was very much appreciated as cancer and its treatment can be a very challenging time. Last but not least the addition of a fleet of drivers that took me to every appointment, waited for me, and drove me home was a real comfort. The drivers, like all the staff, were so friendly and chatted to me in a way that relaxed me and helped me feel calmer upon arrival. Cancer is a tough journey but everyone at Genesis Care made it much easier in so many ways. I cannot recommend the entire team, that make it work flawlessly, highly enough.

I was struck by Dr Hawkes attention to detail. The sutures were so exquisite that after 5 months a fellow plastic surgeon from across the desk could not see I had any work done. One thing to note is the limit of surgery on the day, I was the only one that day to be operated on as Dr Hawkes will only operate on a maximum number of 'eyes' ...... It so happened that the surgeon in the next theatre did seven patients (yes seven!). I was also reassured that given the post procedure settlement (upper and lower) Dr Hawkes asked to see me after 6 months........ Needless to say after six months I could not be happier with the result on both eyes, age appropriate (as asked for) with exquisite detail and in the words of my granddaughter 'they are beautiful'.... I will leave you with an amusing anecdote.....on the morning of the operation I asked for Dr Hawkes to hold her arm out just for fun and you know what it did not flinch .... steady as a rock.... a great result from a lovely lady... thanks again Elizabeth....

The appointment itself was very positive. Dr. Robert Gordon was calm, validating, and genuinely listened. The room was quiet, warm, and set up like a cosy study, which made it feel safe rather than clinical. He explained the diagnostic impressions clearly at the end in a way that finally made sense, and it didn’t feel dismissive. I left feeling understood in a way I haven’t experienced with other services, although the level of positivity felt unexpected and left me a bit uncertain about how to interpret it. The only issue was the arrival process. My appointment was in the late evening, and reception was closed. It wasn’t clear where to check in, and I had no phone signal. I had to rely on Wi-Fi and the website photos to work out where to wait. Overall, despite the initial uncertainty about the building, the clinical experience was extremely positive. Everything went smoothly, and the assessment itself was very professional.

I went to OSD Hemel Hempstead to get my cast removed following my rhinoplasty. When we got there, we were taken straight to the room & were left there for about 20mins for the nurse to find the equipment, upon her return the appointment was rushed and no information was provided for my aftercare. I was asking many questions however, she seemed reluctant to answer any (as simple as, how long do I need to tape for - she couldn’t answer). Following a conversation with my surgeons direct nurse, I found out that the nurse at OSD had not taped my nose correctly, nor removed the glue from my face. I felt rushed out of the appointment & not very well looked after. My surgeon came to review my nose post cast removal which was reassuring & he mentioned that the OSD nurse would provide me with all the information I’d need - she did not.

From my first consultation and throughout the process, everything was explained clearly to me. Mr Ferris' website gave so much invaluable information as to how the whole proceedure would take place, and what to expect. I had cataracts removed and lens replacement on both eyes on the same day, all the staff were very friendly and kind, and Mr Ferris was very reassuring. The whole procedure was over within half an hour and I felt no discomfort at all. Removing the eye shield the next day, I was completely amazed at how vibrant colours were and my ability to see clearly, I was able to read without glasses for the first time in years! Five weeks on I am delighted with the results and would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Ferris, and the procedure is nothing to worry about!

After my original consultation with a orthopaedic surgeon at a physiotherapy clinic in Doncaster, he wanted to put me on his list. He said I could have a new knee and be fit for Christmas. I said. I want Mr Haslam to operate on my right knee..I trust him. I haven't had any issues with my left knee. He operated on my friends Son's torn ligamentes. He'll br back playing Rugby again soon. Dr Sheeraz was able to assess and confirm the diagnosis of a recently detected issue with my vision. Elsewhere I was informed that the I would require dye in my eye which would impair driving etc for a few hours, however, this was not necessary due to leading technology at Dr Sheeraz’s practice. Dr Sheeraz talked me through the findings and was able to put me at immediate ease. Highly recommended!
