What is Reiki healing?

Reiki means “universal life energy” and is a Japanese healing method that manipulates energy flow in the body. It is believed that the therapist transfers the energy through his or her palms to the receiver to encourage healing.
It is, however, not substitutable with surgical procedures to treat any type of diseases.

How is the Reiki healing procedure performed?

Reiki uses a technique called palm healing either directly or at a distance.
The recipient may be told to lie down or sit straight in a comfortable position. The recipient is fully clothed and there is no need to remove any clothing as energy can pass through all materials.
The practitioner places his or her hands on any area of the body that is thought to need energy and support. It is believed that energy will then naturally flow towards areas where it is needed.

How to prepare for the Reiki healing procedure?

Before the session, your therapist will discuss a treatment plan with you and take your preferences into consideration. Weekly or monthly regular treatments are shown to be more effective than a single session.
Each Reiki session usually lasts half to one hour, although it may vary, so make sure to allocate proper amount of time when you attend your session.

What happens after the Reiki healing procedure?

Reiki is a holistic therapy used to remedy common health issues like stress, anxiety, insomnia and depression.
After your Reiki session, you should feel refreshed and have an improved general well-being.
