Staff were exceedingly helpful, friendly and supportive, which resulted in a very positive experience. Two important feedback comments 1: telephone system in Belfast is not fit for purpose. In spite of many attempts, I always had to wait more than 15 minutes and (apart from once) did not get through (see below). NW system is much better, in that you can opt for a callback when your call reached top of the queue. 2: Co-ordination between NW and Belfast needs attention. I did not get any pre-op preparation advice, in spite of requesting this when appointment was arranged. (I think I fell between two stools, each side thinking the other had provided me with the info). When I realised some time later that I had not got anything, I could not get through on the phone in spite of repeated attempts. I eventually got through on one occasion to advise re: recent medication, but couldn't speak to an appropriate person. The telephonist was very helpful and arranged for it to be dealt with by email., but I still got no pre-op prep information..

I recently completed a course of three shockwave therapy sessions for my Haglund’s spur (Haglund’s deformity), which had led to insertional Achilles tendinopathy. The treatment was carried out by a fully trained nurse, Feli, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Before the sessions, my Achilles was extremely inflamed and painful, making even simple activities uncomfortable. Feli explained everything clearly, ensured I was comfortable throughout, and performed the shockwave therapy with great skill and care. After the first session, I noticed a significant improvement — and now, having completed the full course of three sessions, I’m completely back to my usual activities, pain-free. I highly recommend shockwave therapy and this professional team at The London Orthopaedic Clinic to anyone dealing with similar Achilles or heel issues.

I’ve been struggling with dry eyes for over a year and honestly didn’t know what to do or where to turn. Finding the Dry Eye Centre has been such a relief! Mamta Trivedi is amazing, so knowledgeable, caring, and thorough. She took the time to explain all the treatment options and put together a plan that’s really working for me. I’ve already noticed a big improvement and finally feel hopeful again. The machinery and technology they have is out of this world, it’s incredible to see how advanced the treatments are! Jo-Anna at reception is also lovely always so welcoming, friendly, and organised. I can’t recommend the Dry Eye Centre enough. The combination of expert care, cutting-edge technology, and genuine kindness from both Mamta and Jo-Anna makes such a difference.

Dr. Jayaraj was exceptional from start to finish for my procedure. The initial evaluation was informative, constructive, and gave me comfort that we could remedy my extremely deviated septum. Hannah then followed up the appointment with a very detailed letter and various other links to topics we discussed at the appointment which was very helpful.
