His knowledge and experience truly shone through, and his personal approach and guidance made the decision easy. The most daunting aspect wasn’t the surgery itself—I knew I was in safe hands—but the general anaesthetic, I had never been under anaesthesia before. However, I was thoroughly reassured by the anaesthetist and the entire team led by Dr McLean. They all provided a personal touch, which made a huge difference and gave me the reassurance I needed. Even though I had wanted this for years, it was still a big decision. The aftercare from Dr McLean has been nothing short of outstanding. He makes everything feel easy and straightforward, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience and more importantly the result. I love my new additions and wished I met Dr McLean years ago! I’ll be forever grateful.

I’ve had several consultations with Dr MacPherson over the past 7 years as my knees have deteriorated due to osteoarthritis. This year, we tried cortisone with limited effect so he escalated my half knee replacements. Pre-op, operative and post operative were always on time, very clear and I was made fully aware of risks as well as the benefits. Having had right knee pain since 2018, I was immediately aware, post anaesthetic, that my right knee was ‘sorted’ and pain free - it is absolutely amazing. The left has improved greatly over the 5 weeks and they are both incredible. 5 weeks and 1 day after having 2 half replacements, I played 28 holes of golf with no issues at all and no drop in my own performance. I am astounded as is my Dr wife. I never dreamt my operation could be so successful and I put this totally down to my surgeon who told me and my wife, that the operation had gone very very well. I could not have asked for more from Mr Macpherson, absolutely World class.

I have just returned home after a full hip replacement. We were recommended to St Joseph’s and I can’t speak highly enough of the team and the care I received. Many things stand out. The friendly, yet professional ambience, the obviously good relations and communications across all staff. Although my visit lasted only just over 24 hours, at no time did anything feel rushed or ‘conveyor belt’. Just well organised with a feeling that I was being very well looked after. The room and facilities were first class, comfortable and super clean. The operation itself was clearly explained and went without hitch. There was a lot of experience in that room, not least of the lead consultant and anaesthetist. Recovery was also much quicker than I expected, with excellent follow on from the Physio team and 6 sessions into the future as part of the package. I would finally like to express my thanks to all the staff who have made such a positive difference for me.

I arrived at 8.50 for a 9 am appointment. Was taken for a urine test which was irrelevant to why I was there and I never saw any results of. At 9.01 I saw the Dr arriving in the clinic. I was told she had a telephone appointment. At 9.15 I saw a patient leave her consulting room and was eventually seen. Despite having filled out the pre questionaire with my medication Dr Carulli couldn't find it but instead wanted to go through them. But then in her covering letter to my GP missed out significant ones like statins. Dr Carulli listed herself as a specialist in Osteoporosis but didn't seem to know a lot - at one point asking why there were two scores in my DEXA scan (one is the T score one is the z score a WEB MD search can tell you that...).

My experience of the appointment with Mr Tavares was excellent. I have one comment on the health questionnaire I was asked to complete after the appointment and before I left the hospital. Many of the questions had a 'yes' and 'no' box at the side. Instructions at the start would have been helpful as to whether the correct answer should be ticked or circled or the incorrect answer deleted. Later on, under specific questions, directions were given to circle the correct answer. I raised the issue with the staff at the desk and they indicated that the best way of commenting was on the review form.

I am absolutely terrified of the dentist but recently I was suffering from toothache so really had to put my big girl pants on and book an appointment with one. I was recommended Dentalia by a friend so gave them a call. From the first call to book an appointment to actually receiving the treatment was first class. They were all so friendly, kind and patient with me, and put me at ease. I have actually booked an appointment to go back for a proper checkup which believe me I didn’t think I would ever do. I would highly recommend Dentalia, so give them a call if you have phobia like me.

Everything went ok but if I had one criticism it would be I felt that the surgical area was very busy and needed more nurses . I was left in my room with no one coming in for quite a long time and although offered a coffee after the procedure I eventually had to ring my bell and a Dr came and brought me a coffee . Luckily I am not a nervous patient but if I had been there wasn’t enough contact with nursing staff . They’d appear and say they were going to do something and then disappear and not come back .

I went to see Dr Dehabadi regarding ptosis repair eyelid surgery. After some eye tests revealed I had cataract Dr Dehabadi advice was that if I were to think about cataract surgery in a couple of years it would compromise the eyelid surgery. I am so glad that I took his advice and had cataract and lens replacement surgery. I could not be happier and it has changed my life I could not believe how quickly I had perfect vision after so many years. It's absolutely amazing

I was made to feel welcome and at ease from the start. I was given all information verbally and was provided with an information pack. Mr Girgis has a very pleasant manner and is very professional. My surgery went well and my recovery time was quick and comfortable. The after service provided tests, and these confirmed that my surgery was a sucess and my vision is absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend Mr girgis or this procedure enough.

The consultant took the time needed to explain things to me very well and answer my questions. Very knowledgeable and helpful in general. I'd recommend her to anyone. Communal areas nice and welcoming with interesting art on the walls. Not quite as chilled as my last visit, as there were more people around, and some mildly distracting muzak in the background.

NLM Clinic in Doncaster provides you privacy of consultation. It is located quite central, however not on the main road, which means that the privacy is maintained at all times. The environment is calm and comfortable. You are offered a drink on arrival and the consultation room, despite being small is welcoming and comfortable. Highly recommended.
