Mr. Nicol replaced my right hip about 3 weeks ago, using the anterior approach process. I can't speak highly enough about what he and his anaesthetist, Mr. Andrew Dalton, did for me, making the whole event so straightforward. They were extremely professional but at the same time very approachable and happy to discuss any and all questions. I had a hip replacement 11 years ago but this time it was very different and very much easier and I have not had the difficulties I experienced last time post op - easier to start the rehab, exercises, easier to get a decent sleep, not nearly so much initial discomfort. I had the op at King's Park Hospital which gave me excellent care ( my nurse Stephanie was brilliant) and I was home the following day, having had check up visits from Mr. Nicol and Mr. Dalton. I would absolutely recommend Mr. Dalton - if I had a third hip I'd be asking him to replace it too!

From initial consultation right through to post surgery care, the level of dedication and support has been unmatched. Dr Joe's bedside manner is like nothing I've ever experienced before, and I'm so thankful to have had the opportunity to have this surgery with him and his team. I debated having this surgery for many years, and at every step, Joe has been there to answer every question, every query, and made me feel completely at ease for this life changing decision. I felt part of the team rather than just the patient. I will need to have this surgery on my right ear and there is no other surgeon I would chose to have this done with.

Received urgent call requesting blood test for tolerance to Dye. I Moved appointments for that afternoon to facilitate a flying visit. After arrival kept waiting for 35 minutes until I asked reception as was needed elsewhere and was told phlebotomist would be with me shortly. With Phlebotomist approx 3 minutes, total time 50 minutes and 50 miles traveled Then had to wait 9 days for scan which was only scheduled following chase-up from private GP. On presenting for CT Scan was told that they did not require blood test as procedure did not indicate use of dye. Most unimpressive communication and administration throughout

I cannot fault the patience and understanding I have experienced from this dedicated professional individual during that time. I was referred by my own dentist as he felt specialist treatment was necessary, following an abscess. Treatment was required urgently as I was due to travel abroad and did not want a repeat of the abscess. Dr Naidoo was able to see me and start root canal treatment before I travelled, describing the treatment in detail so that I could make an informed decision. I was seen on return to this country and treatment was completed. The treatment was painless ad the quality of care was excellent. Couldn't praise Mr Tang anymore. From the moment I met him, kind, knowledgeable, calm, and I felt at ease even though I ripped my bicep less than a day before meeting him and was in a serious amount of pain. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer, and the surgery was as painless as it could have been. He did say he has never seen a bicep recover so quickly, which I am very proud of; however, I think that was more him than me. Thank you again.

Parking good, reception good, pharmacy good, everywhere very clean. All staff were friendly and efficient. They made sure that they had the right person for the right procedure, made sure I was hydrated and well, and checked that I would be looked after at home afterwards. I was very impressed. Also the sandwich afterwards was lovely.
