I cannot recommend Mr Ravi Ray highly enough. After suffering a pectoralis major rupture, I was understandably anxious about the surgery and recovery, particularly as training has been a huge part of my life for over 20 years. From our very first consultation, Mr Ray was exceptional. His knowledge of the injury, the surgical procedure, and the recovery process was incredibly comprehensive. What really stood out was his honesty in setting realistic timescales and expectations - he didn’t sugarcoat anything, but he filled me with confidence that he could successfully repair the damage and get me back to the gym. The surgery itself was a complete success, even though it proved trickier than anticipated due to the nature of the tear. Mr Ray’s skill and expertise were evident throughout. I’m now 6 weeks post-op and have just been given the green light to remove the sling and begin meaningful physical therapy - a milestone I’m thrilled to have reached. If you’re facing a similar injury, I wouldn’t hesitate to put your trust in Mr Ravi Ray. The Spire Wellesley is a quiet calm hospital. The facilities are always clean and well cared for, the staff attentive and pleasant. You can expect the path of your time with them to be fully and clearly explained and information of who will attend you, when and for what reason. You are prepared as soon as you arrive and surgery follows swiftly, which leaves you very little time to overthink or get anxious. I was never left worried, every member of staff introduced themselves and did whatever was necessary to reassure me and provide whatever was needed. It was all very quick and over before I knew it, for which I am grateful. You certainly will not be left hungry or thirsty, food is excellent, the selection is wide. My stay was relatively short, my surgery went well, my recovery and activity level after surgery good and whilst I could have stayed a 2nd night I was allowed to go home as there were no concerns. So I was on for a little over 24hrs altogether.

My whole experience from start to finish has been absolutely amazing! All staff have been 100% in their delivery of care and support. I felt safe and looked after. The anaesthetist and theatre staff before both operations were totally dedicated in ensuring I felt at ease at a time when I felt most anxious. All ward nurses and assistants were focussed on delivering the highest standard of care with their patience and nothing being too much trouble. Pantry team kept me well fed with delicious drinks and food and always with a smile. Imaging team were so caring, cheerful and again reassuring and professional. The physio team are incredible, they have encouraged and lead me to where I am now - so very nearly there. I cannot fault my experience at Gatwick Spire. A massive thank you to Mr Panose and all teams involved in my operations and recovery.

The booking part of the process was the only thing that could be improved. Took a log time from seeing the consultant to being contacted. The staff member was quite abrupt and inflexible. I was on my way out of the door at the time (7.30pm) and she didn’t seem empathetic to this. No way for me to text the information required in (BUPA details which the hospital already has been sent!). So I was told to call back next day to recite the information. I was offered a single booking time…take it or leave it! The actual appointment and scan was faultless. Friendly and empathetic staff greeted me, were on time (in fact early!) and the whole process was smooth and the scans explained to me clearly and were done quickly. I am however still awaiting the results…so turn around is nearly a month from reporting my concerns about cancer recurrence,

Dr Ed Abrahamson

We couldn’t recommend Dr. Ed Abrahamson enough. We had an issue getting our newborn back to his birth weight and wasted over five weeks trying to follow conflicting advice from different specialists and consultants, while the situation didn’t improve one bit. One visit with Dr. Ed was enough to get a very tailored and effective protocol that finally helped the baby thrive and make improvements at record speed. While Dr. Abrahamson’s experience speaks for itself, in person we found his approach to be caring and very straightfoward and direct at the same time. We feel appreciative of the help he gave us, and safe in knowing we now have a great paediatrician we can come back to anytime we need to. Thank you!

I was absolutely petrified about having my cataracts removed as, firstly, I instantly block when someone comes near my face and secondly, my mum ended up totally blind after having hers done and I was scared the same thing would happen to me. I would advise anyone to put their care in Mr Lewis' hands he is efficient, professional, highly skilled, very kind and understanding. He has a great sense of commitment before and after procedure, this shows especially in his after care, I have has private surgery before but I have never received a emailed letter written after the procedure, on the actual day of surgery, explaining how the surgery went and what was accompliced , this was followed by an in depth emailed letter recalling my follow up appointment. I would recommend Mr Tryston Lewis most highly.

Recently had vein procedure was disappointed that not all veins were treated .I'd explained i was having procedure because of upcoming flight to australia .I returned for check up to be told I had fleabiteus on area that had been treated. I've decided to postpone more treatment until I get back from australia as I am worried of any more problems before flying. I'm disappointed that what I thought was going to be a straight forward procedure has not been .I wish I hadn't gone ahead with the procedure. Very disappointed
