I am mainly reviewing my experience of an angiogram + PCI on October 5th 2025, at Norwich & Norfolk hospital (also consultations elsewhere). The whole team provides a supportive and positive environment before and after the operation. Dr Sawh came and outlined the plan for the procedure. He always shows a calm confidence, a sense of being ready and focused, and the drive to do his best work and achieve the best result for you. There is a special team atmosphere in the operating theatre, supportive, engaged, learning, caring for you, and themselves also enjoying each other's company and work too. Dr Sawh clearly has a great relationship with them. The nurses pre and post-procedure are a lovely group too, creating a safe, caring and smiley environment which helps lower stress. In consultations at Ella May Barnes or elsewhere, Dr Sawh is always happy to answer detailed questions, even if when he asks me 'any more questions?', despite preparation, I often say no and then remember the thing I forgot to ask the moment I leave the room. If it's not too personal, I think Dr Sawh's photograph on the Spire website and elsewhere, captures his seriousness and professionalism about the work and his extremely high standards (you are in the best and safest hands), but I've always thought it doesn't quite capture his caring nature, his deep enjoyment at having a positive impact on others or the smile when he greets you and says farewell. I'm extremely grateful for his excellent care and brilliant work.

Although I'm based in the north of England, under London Prostate Clinic they had been keeping a watching brief on a low level prostate cancer diagnosis and enlarged prostate since 2018. Taking a daily Tamsulosin tablet had been effective until December last year when I had a UTI that made me quite ill. In March this year, another serious UTI caused me to have a catheter fitted at an A+E hospital. My difficulty passing urine had worsened due to the increasing enlargement of the prostate, so after research I decided that the HoLep route of treatment would be the most effective and have the least side effects long term. I discovered Dr. Matthew Liew working out of Spire Manchester hospital and from the first consultation he put my mind at ease with his calm professional manner and good humour. The operation date was arranged within 3 months and was a complete success. I am now back to normal urine flow and complete bladder emptying. My PSA reading has dropped from a high of 11.5 to 5.2. I had 2 post op consultations with Dr. Liew where any questions or concerns were discussed and I am now looking forward to maintaining a normal life, urologically speaking! (age 66).

I was intrigued by the services offered, as they seemed too good to be true. Excellent experience from start to finish. My issue was a much-enlarged benign prostate which necessitated urination every 1.5-2 hours - or at least 3 times per night, which was tiresome(literally). He explained clearly the options and we opted for the minimally-invasive aquablation option (no laser, no cutting). Operation went very smoothly, 2 nights in hospital, recovery swift and infection -free. Good flow returned immediately, no discomfort, took c.7 weeks for significant reduction in need to urinate. Now able to go through night with just one visit (even managed 7 hours last week) which is pretty good for a 75-year-old. Highly recommended.

I had micro-TESE surgery with Mr Alnajjar and the entire experience was exceptional. He successfully retrieved sperm for us, which has now given us the chance to move forward with IVF next year. What stood out most was how personal and reassuring his approach was. We had met him a few times before the procedure and he always made both me and my wife feel calm, confident, and fully informed. The follow-up care has been outstanding — nothing felt rushed, and every question was answered clearly. His PA and the communication throughout have also been first-class. A genuinely brilliant surgeon and a top professional. Highly recommended.

Arrived at diagnostics centre and was just expecting a consultation with a further appointment for procedure was feel anxious but was made to feel welcomed and reassured by all receptionist was really pleasant as was my nurse Eileen I believe her name to be. I then met Mr Muen who was very polite, reassuring and empathetic. To my surprise my procedure was carried out within this appointment saving me further anxieties, travel and time. I have been visiting the clinic for many years for injectables (Botox, Profhilo, Mesotherapy) and other skin care treatments (HIFU, Microneedling) and cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Kubicka and the rest of the team. They are utmost professionals and a very welcoming. I am given a personalised plan to ensure I have the best treatments for my skin and age. Appointments are never rushed, which I love. I had a follow up appointment for more YAG Laser treatment. Upon entering Cathedral Eye Clinic you are greeted by very friendly and helpful staff at reception. Thereafter I had very detailed tests carried out by a female Optometrist who is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Finally I had further tests and this was followed by the laser treatment by Mr Best who exudes absolute professional brilliance and is very reassuring explaining everything in detail. A truly excellent experience and I can recommend their fantastic care to anyone.

Dr Mulla listened... fortunately he is up to date on my particular, rather ambiguous, condition. I get the impression that he keeps up to date with latest developments and findings in his field of ENT. If only I had been able to see him 18 months ago, I would have been sorted in just one consultation. He is very personable, professional, friendly and efficent (by that I mean he dictated his letter to my GP in front of me before I left my appointment). This was a moment when you feel the NHS is at its best.

I'm sure it was being decorated when I visited 6 months ago. Still is. Before appointment they send forms to be completed online. No problem with that except one is for COVID asking if anybody on the family has been to a country on the government red list or been told to isolate by NHS. Neither of those things happen now. I raise it every time and nothing changes. Almost as if nobody reads the reviews. So much for "quality"
