He adjusts treatment carefully based on how I am actually responding, which has been crucial in ensuring progress while minimising the risk of setbacks. Daniel understands that I need to know why I am doing something, not just what to do. His explanations are clear, thoughtful, and grounded in sound clinical reasoning. This has given me confidence in the rehabilitation process and reassurance at every stage of recovery. He is also highly skilled at pacing rehabilitation appropriately. When necessary, he has deliberately held me back in a careful and protective way to prevent over-loading the repair. That restraint has been just as important as the progression itself, and as a result my recovery has been steady, controlled, and ahead of expectations rather than rushed. What I value most is the level of trust. I feel completely able to be honest with him about weeks that have not gone perfectly, including when I have done more than I should have. His response is always calm, supportive, and constructive rather than critical, which has made a significant difference both physically and psychologically. I trust Daniel implicitly with my recovery and would highly recommend him.

When I entered the premises I couldn’t believe the transformation that had taken place as I was familiar with the building when it was a hairdressing salon. It was spacious, immaculate and tranquil. Having been quite anxious before my appointment, I quickly relaxed as all the staff were extremely friendly and kind. All the tests were performed swiftly and smoothly with every concern for my comfort and my understanding of the procedures involved. Mrs. Matthews explained my forthcoming cataract surgery clearly, comprehensively and reassuringly and I was very pleased to be offered the surgery I such a short space of time. All in all I couldn’t have wished for a better experience with North Wales Eye Specialist Centre.

The staff seemed very friendly and efficient in what seemed to be quite a busy little private out patient's department. I had to have quite a few test's and checks but didn't have to wait long in-between different department's. When I got to see the consultant he was very professional and explained to me exactly what my condition was, how it was affecting my vision . He then explained how he proposed to try to correct the problem, the likely time scale for the procedure, and the cost. I also felt that he was very clear to manage my expectations when the procedure does go ahead.

This was my first major operation. I was very nervous and quite anxious before going to the hospital. After booking in, I was taken to my room where the staff carried out all their pre ops checks. Whilst doing this my nerves began to calm as the staff were so warming and kind in their approach. My operation was early in the morning and I was back in my room in time for lunch. My post operative care was also of a high standard, the staff were excellent. The operation went very well and I would highly recommend the operation and also Yorkshire Clinic.

My visit concerned a dislocated right shoulder. Mr. Colegate-Stone examined me and carried out a number of strength tests. He then explained the reason for the problem, referring to a model of a shoulder and an xray taken previously. He mentioned a number of possible treatments and suggested that a CT scan is necessary to clarify the situation. We would then decide on the appropriate action. During the appointment Me. Colegate-Stone was very clear and gave me great confidence in his judgement. I look forward to our next appointment on 30 Jan.

Dr Das is the best Consultant my son has had. He has suffered with lots of gastro issues since birth and we were always fobbed off until we meet Dr Das. His knowledge in this area is exceptional, my son has ARFID and he seems to be the only professional I have meet who acknowledges it and is taking an interest in it to help children who suffer with it. He is always friendly, kind, listens and cares about his patients and helping them.

ICU I was treated like an animal left under the cold AC in a cramped room, the ICU nurse was on her phone taking ages to come to help when you press the call bell. The nurse team is the worst I’ve experienced in my life I genuinely thought I was going to die in this hospital they don’t respect you ethically unsafe and keep you in prolonged pain for days

I had a surgery which was slightly delayed, but the operation itself was carried out very well. The ward was nice, comfortable, and clean. The only issue was that the kitchen forgot about my meal, and I ended up waiting 1.5 hours for my food despite two reminders. The nurses and doctors were of an exceptionally high standard.
