I required surgery to remove a cyst. I am always somewhat intimidated by private healthcare services, never knowing what to expect. I met Dr Sabatini and straight away I felt at ease. He was very thorough in explaining the process, the steps and answering any questions I had. But most importantly, he was friendly and warm, which I found endearing. Surgery is such a scary situation that having a matter-of-fact doctor would make the whole process even scarier. However, Dr Sabatini put me at so much ease, I had no worries or stresses after meeting with him. I would also like to point out that having had many uncomfortable internal scans before, the best and most gentle and comfortable scan I have ever had was the one carried out by Dr Sabatini during my initial consulation. On the day of the surgery, he was very professional and caring. I felt completely looked after and I felt happy that I was in safe hands. The surgery itself was difficult and complicated but of course, Dr Sabatini completed it successfully. He was very sensitive and empathetic after the surgery and made sure to visit me at intervals to check that I was alright. He answered all my questions and was friendly and accommodating to my family. He was just as professional and caring at the follow-up consulation. I made a full recovery, and could not have asked for a better experience. If I were to require surgery like this again, I would not hesitate to ask Dr Sabatini. He is golden. My dream was to have a VBAC, and he supported me entirely and did absolutely everything to ensure this was possible - and thanks to him it worked out. I suffered PPD after my first child and Okaro did everything in his power to make me feel calm and supported both throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I had no experience which would help me choose a consultant and had to use the CVs on the Spire website. I mainly chose Mr Wemyss-Holden because of his laparoscopic expertise. He was excellent. Since then, I've met a number of patients who also have a very high opinion of him. On meeting, he immediately put me at my ease, gave a confident diagnosis, explained my operation and assured me it would be successful. All of which he duly delivered. For the operation, he once again explained what would happen and returned afterwards to tell me of its success and what to expect going forward. The following week he gave me a check over and discharged me. Throughout, Mr Wemyss-Holden was very pleasant, while giving me a great deal of confidence that my treatment would be successful. He was open to questions and explained everything in detail.

they were very considerate considering I was terrified as once before I had to press the button. I couldn’t go through with it and I had to go to an open scanner as they were about to place me through. I had to stop them. They gave me time to recompose and got me to look backwards and upwards and out through the exposed end and that made the whole experience different can’t tell you how relieved I am to get through that. I’m highly claustrophobic so yes, the experience was a positive one.

Oh my Davide was fantastic for our gender scan. We got to see way more than we anticipated, its little arms, legs, everything was explained to us, got to hear the heartbeat and have a usb to keep the memories. I highly recommend a private scan. We are planning to come back around 26 weeks and maybe again in the 30s as it can be quite some time between scans on NHS. Honestly highly recommend, friendly, open to questions and amazingly professional! Thank you!

Everything was excellent. Staff were kind, friendly and efficient without exception. My only concern is that there does not seem to have been a good reason for the 14 week wait after referral. It seemed clear that Newmedica would have had capacity to complete the procedure sooner but apparently the NHS would not pay for this flexibility. My sight deteriorated in that time so that was a personal negative.
