Receptionist was absolutely lovely and really friendly and helpful. The building and facilities were all excellent and kept clean and tidy. The consultant I saw was extremely rude, arrogant and judgemental. There were several comments he made that shocked me and that made me feel very uncomfortable to the point I almost walked out mid appointment. There was very little sympathy or mindfulness of my injury and he came across extremely judgemental in the assumptions he made about the level of sport I played, what I could afford, and several other things. I actually play semi-professionally and have represented our country in World Championships in the sport I play, and I also have a law degree and accountancy qualification which I did not mention as quite frankly it is irrelevant. It was apparent he took a dislike to me for whatever reason from the start and the whole experience was very uncomfortable. His behaviour aside, he is clearly very knowledgeable and good at what he does. Reading between the lines I got the answer I needed. This hospital was recommended to me by one of your previous patients and I was lucky to get booked in through an NHS referral but after my experience I would never return for any issue and am relieved I didn't pay to go private.

Mr Ahmed Hamouda

I recently had an operation carried out by my consultant Mr Ahmed Hamouda, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the outstanding care I received from start to finish. From the very first appointment, he was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and reassuring. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions with patience, and made me feel completely at ease. On the day of the procedure, his friendly and confident manner helped calm any nerves I had, and the operation itself was a complete success. My recovery was surprisingly quick and virtually painless, which I credit to his skill and expertise. I also want to highlight how wonderful his secretary and the entire team were throughout the whole process. Every member of staff was welcoming, organised, and genuinely caring. Communication was always smooth, and I felt supported at every stage. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend this consultant and his team to anyone in need of exceptional care.

Mr Himanshu Shekhar

Mr Shekhar arranged to see me at short notice when I was terribly suffering from lower back pain/ right leg pain. Initial consultation was efficient whilst still taking the time to understand the background of what happened. He also took the time to explain what his initial thoughts were but arranged an MRI scan to confirm his thoughts. MRI scan results were shared with me very comprehensively and Mr Shekhar gave me a list of options with realistic outcome possibilities for each including success rate, details of how the procedure would take place etc… I opted for a nerve block injection which Mr Shekhar performed himself in theatre. I’m never sick and don’t get injured so all this was a first to me but his explanations throughout (including during the procedure) made me feel at ease. Whilst the pain is not fully gone (which I knew was a risk), it has improved in the weeks following the injection and I am now hoping time will do the rest.

Professor Melvin Lobo

General (Internal) Medicine

I've only seen Dr Lobo once, so my experience is still limited, but he seemed very knowledgeable about my obscure problems. Time will tell whether his hypotheses are correct, but so far he seemed to have a very practical approach and a concrete plan moving forward. When it came to my appointment, he was timely and polite. The wait time for his appointment was very reasonable (2-3 weeks), and he produced the letter for my appointment very quickly (<24h). My only criticism is that the default pharmacy used by London Bridge Hospital clinicians is Pharmacierge, and it seems to be very expensive. The Low Dose Naltrexone I was prescribed was £239, but only £66 when shopping around. Dr Lobo kindly rerouted the prescription to another pharmacy, but I would suggest to at least inform the patients about certain costs and letting them know about more sensible options.

I had wanted laser eye surgery for many years, but was too anxious to go ahead with it despite knowing it would be positively life changing. Then, my partner who had a very complex prescription got LASIK with Dr Ghabra, and it went incredibly well. Two years later I finally decide to go ahead with mine - I had the choice between lasik and trans prk, so I went ahead with trans prk and the whole process went very smoothly and quickly. My anxieties were put at ease by Dr Ghabra and Hakam Ghabra - I knew I was in safe hands. Furthermore, during the recovery I had the team on the other side of the phone answering any questions or worries I had the entire time which was even more reassuring. This is a very warm and friendly clinic and Dr Ghabra is clearly excellent at his job, he knows exactly what he’s doing - you’ll feel safe with him!

She prepared a detailed report that included a personalized list of supplements with precise dosages, which I found extremely helpful and highly professional. In addition, I experienced several kinesiological sessions that brought me significant emotional relief. These sessions allowed me to gain new perspectives on patterns I hadn’t recognized before and helped me release them with greater ease. I recommend Mrs. Sandra as a knowledgeable and compassionate practitioner. She approaches each person holistically, integrating both physical and energetic perspectives. Very professional experienced physio. Nahor set clear goals from a holistic standpoint - focusing on regaining confidence, reducing pain and improving movement & feeling in the foot. He gave thorough explanations with many variations and tailored each session to address any concerns from the previous week. When I began physio with Nahor I had no movement in my toe and severe swelling in my foot as a result of starting physio 4 weeks later than recommended post bunion op. At this point I did not believe I would be able to get back to my previous active lifestyle. 6 weeks later I am back to regained movement and am back to gym, yoga and almost able to perform a lunge. Throughout the process Nahor created a calm, motivating environment which helped me progress further than I imagined.

I had micro-TESE surgery with Mr Alnajjar and the entire experience was exceptional. He successfully retrieved sperm for us, which has now given us the chance to move forward with IVF next year. What stood out most was how personal and reassuring his approach was. We had met him a few times before the procedure and he always made both me and my wife feel calm, confident, and fully informed. The follow-up care has been outstanding — nothing felt rushed, and every question was answered clearly. His PA and the communication throughout have also been first-class. I have nothing but praise for Mr Morgan and his team. He is the ultimate professional. I had double knee replacement surgery just over six weeks ago and yesterday was signed off by both Mr Morgan and the physio. This is normally done at about twelve weeks. I took my first drive today and cannot feel better. Mr Morgan gave excellent advice, bringing to my attention that physio exercises must be adhered to, and he was right. Dr Kabunga and his team were excellent in assisting us with this request, providing an initial consultation the day after our contact, scans the day after that, and follow up consultation and clinical letter during the morning of the day following that. We could not be more pleased with the care and professionalism we received during this very stressful time - and what an incredible turnaround time !

Was a little confused and concerned with all the last minute changes for surgery, then to be told and left waiting in a room for surgery to then say ur appointment was not the appointment time when u came in on our computer so they did change my appointment time! Other than that surgeon was fantastic brilliant and friendly After Care - as given a bag of meds and a latter and cards for the doctor with no sore dressings for wound area.
