The set-up was scruffy/down at heel. The reception staff appeared weary, little interaction and certainly no putting anyone at ease. The approach to the outside of the building is unwelcoming and unclear. Far too many stairs with no assistance offered or given. No courteous instructions, no graciousness. The waiting room was full of materials to be used in decorating/ construction …. Maybe they thought the over large, badly adhered to the wall TV playing the same continuous “Winter” loop made up for feeling very much an inconvenience. One of the most annoying things is when you explain you’re deaf they say and they did “Oh we’ll speak loudly.” Empathy dictates clarity and pace NOT volume ( training needed in several areas ) seats in waiting area uncomfortable - nowhere to place/rest anything.

I can’t recommend Debra highly enough as a physio. I had physio for my middle child 5 years ago with Debra and again with my now 10 month old baby. Debra is calm, patient, and so knowledgeable, which instantly put both me and my baby at ease. She has a wonderful way of engaging with babies, turning each session into something that feels more like play than therapy, while still being incredibly effective. She always takes the time to explain what she’s doing and how we can support our baby’s progress at home, which has been so reassuring as a parent. We’ve always seen such positive progress under her care, and I’m so grateful to have had her support. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Debra to any parent looking for a skilled, compassionate, and trustworthy paediatric physio.

It was only a week ago however I have absolutely no doubt that there will be minimal scarring due to his expertise. Dr Gilleard and the nurse were incredibly kind and caring and totally put me at ease. Would very much recommend to anyone.

I chose galaxy lenses for my cataract surgery and am now very happy with the results. No need whatsoever for any glasses. The staff were all very kind and supportive, along with Mr Hove the surgeon who was quick and efficient with the procedure. I would recommend anyone who is thinking of this procedure to not be anxious, it is quick and painless and though your vision is a little blurry after it doesn't take long to resolve. I had a robotic total prostatectomy for a high grade cancer and two and a half years later I remain cancer free, with normal urine continence and satisfactory recovery in erectile function. My follow-up appointments are always on time as scheduled. I highly recommend the professional care provided by Prof Challacombe to any man faced with a diagnosis of prostate cancer.

The nurse team is the worst I’ve experienced in my life I genuinely thought I was going to die in this hospital they don’t respect you ethically unsafe and keep you in prolonged pain for days
