I was referred to Genesis by the NHS consultant oncologist to receive radiotherapy and hormone treatment for for my diagnosed advanced prostate cancer. I was seen very quickly at the Newmarket (Cambridge) branch of Genesis. The facilities are modern with state of the art CT and radiotherapy equipment. At all times the staff of all disciplines and specialties were extremely helpful and understanding. After 4 weeks (20 sessions) of radiotherapy my regular attendance finished. However I will continue to have regular reviews there with the oncologist and be given the specialist hormone therapy and other pills to be taken for 2 years. Another impressive feature at Genesis is the inclusion of gym sessions under personal guidance from two expert trainers. This is most helpful in countering the muscle loss resulting from hormone therapy. I am continuing with these sessions for some weeks after completing my treatment. In summary, Genesis Care has provided the highest possible standard of specialist cancer treatment and I would strongly recommend this organisation when radiotherapy treatment is needed.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes on 4th December 2025 and l was discharged today, 12th January 2026. I'm so pleased to say l don't need to wear glasses or contact lenses any more. From start to finish, my experience at Freedom Vision Chelmsford was exceptionally good - and my end result is superb vision. - more than l could ever have hoped for. Colours are radiant and bright, and probably the biggest bonus for me is feeling so much more confident driving at night. After undergoing rigorous tests and scans , the actual procedure is very quick and painless. All the staff, without question were delightfully kind people and I'd like to thank them all individually, if only l knew their names. But in particular, l'd like to thank Nicola who guided me patiently and expertly throughout the whole procedure, and a massive thank you to Mr Hove , my surgeon, for being such a genius. If you are contemplating cataract surgery, l urge you to go for it - don't be scared - you won't regret it!

We first saw Dr Burmester when our son was dealing with a prolonged series of illnesses. She was extremely thorough with her diagnostics, explained everything to us very clearly, and guided his recovery in a way that made us feel calm, reassured, and well supported throughout a very stressful time. She was also incredibly generous with her time, answering multiple follow-up questions via email, which was immensely comforting for us as anxious parents. We have been seeing her for over six months now and I would highly recommend her — she is knowledgeable, caring, and someone we trust completely with our child’s care. I would also like to mention Sophie, the clinic manager, who is consistently helpful, professional, and responsive, making the overall experience at the clinic even better.

Hospital was lovely, clean and spotless and the day was well organised. Superb care from Dr Spalding, Nick Gilfillan, Neil (recovery nurse) and Emily (nurse from HCA) in particular. Facilities were great and check-in / admin was v smooth. From check in to check out I saw three different teams; nurses were very friendly and helpful although there was some confusion on instructions for the next few weeks (what to do what not to do). Physio Jess was excellent and kindly waited to see me after the end of her shift so I'd had something to eat (food had been delayed as there was some confusion as to whether I'd been out of of surgery or not). On the whole, brilliantly looked after.

On arrival the receptionist was really friendly. I checked my details then went for to see the consultant Mr Sherif (not sure on spelling) he was efficient and professional and his nurse was really friendly. Then the mammogram with a really lovely technician. She was friendly and gentle and told me what she was doing each and every step. Then a short wait of about 10 minutes and off to the ultrasound which was carried out by friendly and professional staff. Then my final stop back to see the consultant “the Sherif” ! Where he delivered the good news followed by some advice. What a super friendly and efficient service! Can’t fault it Xx

My recent visit to the Fortius Clinic for removal of stitches and a post operative assessment was short, on time and to the point. On arrival, as always for previous appointments, the reception staff were briefed and I was immediately sent to the correct location, waiting time in a comfortable environment was minimal before being called in to see my surgeon, Mr Houlihan-Burne. who took the time to answer a few questions. and assure me that should there be any future queries or worries, he & his staff were always available. Had an immigration medical appointment for Australia. I was running late and had to reschedule my AM appointment. Sent an email as the call option was automated message but the email was promptly replied and I was rebooked for the next available PM appointment. It meant I had to wait longer but they were swift to accommodate me and the services from reception to chest X-ray and GP examination was brilliant. I was offered the Polio vaccine and a painless blood tests. Overall I recommend 100%.

The radiologist worried me as he said he hadn't seen a shape like mine on the screen post the biopsy he did the ultrasound again and this time said it could be fibrosis tissue.
