I had an incredibly positive experience at Delamere and I’m very grateful for my time there which has been transformative. The programme is extremely well structured and thoughtfully designed - a really well-rounded mix of therapy, group work, education and peer support. The staff are kind, dedicated and create a safe, supportive environment where real change feels possible. I want to give special thanks to Mark, my therapist, and Gary, my mentor. Their honesty and approach made a huge difference to my recovery. I felt seen, challenged in the right ways, and supported to build real clarity and confidence. I made meaningful progress and left feeling stronger, clearer and had regained hope for the future. The only area I feel could be improved is the level of psychiatric support. During my stay, patients were offered one 15-minute appointment with the psychiatrist, which felt brief especially for those with more complex mental health needs. I would have valued more collaboration and communication around medication decisions. Strengthening this aspect of care would make an already excellent programme even better. Overall, I’m extremely thankful for my time at Delamere and would definitely recommend the centre to others seeking recovery support.

Before I met Glenda I was at a very low point in my life. I was experiencing an incredible amount of stress and anxiety following a breakdown in my relationship. I found it very hard to function at a level to which I was used to. I have always been high energy and needed to be for my work. Glenda instantly put me at ease, she was always very patient and explained in great detail why I was feeling why I was. Glenda is highly professional and never once did I feel patronised or judged. She spoke to me with respect and encouraged me to learn more about my situation through reading, podcasts, audiobooks etc which really helped me along the way. Some days I would arrive at our therapy session without knowing what I was going to discuss but Glenda creates a safe environment which allows you to open up and share your thoughts and feelings. Glenda is an incredible psychodynamic therapist and has been highly influential in my life and I will be forever grateful for her knowledge, her patience and her kindness. Thank you for everything.

I had a very positive experience at Spire Shawfair Park Hospital. From the moment I arrived, the reception staff were welcoming, efficient, and extremely helpful, making the check‑in process smooth and stress‑free. The layout of the building is thoughtful and spacious, with plenty of room in both the reception and waiting areas, ensuring a calm environment while waiting for my consultation. I never felt crowded or rushed. My consultation took place in a well‑equipped room with high‑quality medical facilities, which further added to my confidence in the care I was receiving. I was a bit nervous on this surgery because of other people’s stories but my experience was so smooth! Everyone was lovely and explained it so clearly to me, the surgery was so quick and I’m barely in any discomfort, and more importantly during the surgery Mr Adeel made sure to watch my teeth (veneers) which was a lovely touch as working in that area both the surgeon and anaesthesiologist it’s very difficult I can imagine! But to still take the time to be careful around them which was another worry of mine so all round cannot fault the surgery or the entire experience. Thank you Mr Adeel and the team for looking after me so well!!

Unfortunately, having burnt my fingers and subsequently acquired an infection, I rang the Centre at 10.00. am and asked for an urgent appointment to see a general practitioner. The receptionist offered me two appointments, one at 11.40 am and one at 1.00 pm. I took the earlier appointment and was seen within 10 minutes by Dr Porter. She was very efficient, warm and understanding. I was prescribed medication, which was supplied by the clinic's pharmacy and back in my office by midday. Excellent service, and I thoroughly recommend Centennial

Paid privately for Hip Replacement, initial appointment was disappointing with an hour wait, and a non interested surgeon. A few blips along the way, upon arrival on surgery day, they had me down for a knee replacement not hip, staff on night shift not the friendliest, and thet x rayed the incorrect hip after the surgery. Day shift were great and surgery went well. I will say I expected more for paying privately however the main thing I've had my surgery instead of the ridiculous wait time on the nhs.

The Holep procedure carried out by Matthew Liew has been a complete success. From suffering with urinary hesitation and retention I am now able to lead a completely normal life only needing to visit the toilet every 2 to 3 hours. Within 6 weeks of surgery I was urinating freely with no hesitation and the fear of searching out toilet facilities gone completely. The whole surgical experience from initial consultation to post operative appointments has been exemplary.

I visited the clinic to discuss removal of a lesion on my eyelid. Having spoken to the consultant Mt Murray I decided to have it removed. I returned two weeks later to have the surgery. All the staff were very supportive and took time to explain the whole procedure to me. In particular Jenny took great care of me and made sure I felt as relaxed as I could be. Everything went to plan and I would like to thank everybody that was involved.

I was referred by my Opticians to have Cataract surgery as my vision, especially at night, was deteriorating. I was given a choice of Consultants by my Medical Insurers and after reviewing them on line chose Mr Elghalhud. I cannot fault the advice he has given nor the treatment I received and am delighted with the result. I now only need glasses for reading newspapers and can now drive again at night.
