It is important for me to leave a review here, as these overwhelmingly positive reviews played an instrumental part in us coming to meet Dr Tarek. From the first meeting, it was clear that they were all right: Tarek was by far the most professional and honest, yet warm and caring, doctor we met. We arrived to him after several consultations at private clinics, none of which felt right. A couple of months earlier, we had been denied access to NHS-funded IVF after I was diagnosed with a very low egg reserve just before I turned 40. Tarek didn’t sugar-coat it for us, but he urged us to start straight away, keeping us grounded as to our chances of success in the build-up to the process. Once we started, he was incredibly supportive and always available for questions. He scanned me frequently and kept altering the dosage to ensure the few eggs I had would have the best chance of becoming an embryo, growing increasingly positive, but still realistic, with every milestone we reached during the course of treatment. We managed to get five eggs, a high number for me, and only one of these matured into an embryo. I will never forget the day of the embryo transfer and how touched we were by his sincere wish for this single embryo to become our baby. It was warm and heartfelt in a way I couldn’t have imagined a clinical procedure could be. And against all odds, that one embryo, on the first cycle of a 10%-chance IVF process, turned out to be our beautiful son, who is about to turn three months old. We will be forever grateful to Tarek and the entire staff for this miracle.

I have had a Morton’s Neuroma for many years, which gradually worsened to the point that it severely impacted my daily life. After seeing a consultant in my hometown of Birmingham, I decided to research other options and came across Mr Julian Pavier, so I made an appointment to see him in Nottingham. Julian Pavier was truly fantastic. During the initial consultation, he identified a second, previously undiagnosed neuroma. Mr Pavier was extremely knowledgeable, and I had complete confidence that he was the right person to carry out the surgery. Following an MRI, it was decided that one large neuroma would be removed through an incision on the bottom of my foot, and a second, smaller neuroma would be decompressed through an incision on the top of my foot. I felt very reassured that this was the right decision. The surgery was carried out under local anaesthetic, and I was able to travel home later the same day. I followed all of Mr Pavier’s advice regarding recovery and rehabilitation. I am now around eight weeks post-op and absolutely over the moon with the outcome. I can walk normally without pain and wear normal footwear for the first time in years. I am gradually building up my walking and have even signed up to run a half marathon in a few months’ time — something that felt completely unattainable for many years. I couldn’t recommend Mr Pavier more highly. His knowledge, expertise, care, and skill when it comes to Morton’s Neuroma are truly second to none. I’m so glad I travelled to Nottingham to have my surgery with him.

My first time going to this clinic due to either muscle or muscle strain causing nerve impingement this is my assumption until I get my results tomorrow. The team were fantastic and to say my appointment was the last one of the day they were friendly welcoming and super efficient. Maria at the desk was incredibly sweet and aspiring to talk to and also in providing me with the Information regarding MRI and what to expect. Julius (radiographer) was accommodating friendly and made the MRI scan easier to manage.. Also Sabi (hope I spelt the name correctly) was as friendly and the other two mentioned and altogether they made the whole experience as smooth as it could be. 5 star from me and highly recommended for anyone on the fence debating whether to visit or not so if you have the need to go for and MRI or ultrasound or anything else that they cover that relates to you I highly recommend Marris and in comparison to other clinics around there price was reasonable at a cost of £325 for a lumbar spine MRI bearing in mind this is on the famous Harley Street. I am super happy I chose them and shall be returning for my consultation soon.

Suffered with gallstones 5 weeks after having my baby, longest with NHS wasn’t ideal for me being a new mum let alone the anxiety of having another gallbladder attack. I booked a consultation at Nuffield for another surgeon originally and I made an error with my dates, by chance Michael had a free appointment the following day ( fate) Booked , attended consultation . Michael was lovely , uofront , honest and very to the point. surgery planned for 18th December ( 3 weeks from consultation ) I was so nervous about the surgery but meeting with Michael on the morning of , he was relaxed , very calming and made me feel at ease. Before I knew it I was back in my room and home by 8pm the same evening. Recovery has been great and had my post op catch up today. Michael you are a wonderful surgeon and your personal relationship with your patients is second to none from following up personally after surgery to putting a very anxious person at ease. I had the best treatment and aftercare from you and would recommend you to anyone having any issues. Thank you so much for everything but most of all getting me back to myself. Kimberley

On top of all that, he has a great manner - friendly, welcoming, reassuring and a lovely smile. You feel like you are in very capable hands without ever feeling like just another patient. We chose Fitzrovia Suite as its part of big NHS hospital in case of any unexpected emergency, it made us feel comfortable being just 1 floor away in case anything happens. The team is wonderful and professional able to create a sense of safety and calm in those moments before and after birth. They were supportive during one of the most vulnerable and delicate experiences a woman can go through, offering practical tips, guidance, emotional support and truly personal care at any hour, for any question or request we had. Midwifes supported us looking after our baby so we can get some sleep waking us is time for feeds, meds and breastfeed support. The midwifes were also available on WhatsApp after the birth, which was incredibly helpful. There is so much information to process when you’re discharged home, and having the ability to ask follow-up questions and get quick clarifications made a huge difference for us. Facility itself is clean, catering is nice, rooms were comfortable, branded toiletries are provided -great experience.

This was my first colonoscopy procedure so I didn’t know what to expect and was quite anxious. Looking at the patient reviews on this site beforehand really helped me so I wanted to add my own comments here as well. The 2 day preparation for my late afternoon procedure (fasting and drinking the cleansing medication) was actually the worst part, however I followed the instructions and kept myself very hydrated throughout, that along with a couple of boiled sweets in the last couple of hours to stop the hunger pangs really helped. The clinic staff were all really friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived and talked me through the process throughout so I knew what to expect. I had sedation for the procedure itself which was completely painless, and I got the results quickly. At all times my wellbeing was prioritised by the staff, with 1 to 1 nursing and a very welcome drink and biscuit afterwards. Special thanks from me to Roberta and Dr Khan, and my aftercare nurse whose name I forgot (sorry!)

WOW amazing! I have worn glasses since I was 16 (53 years), initially to see the blackboard! Recently my eyesight deteriorated due to cataracts and I was referred to Visio. I was very nervous about having the operation but in retrospect should not have worried, it really was not stressful. I had Trifocal Lenses fitted by Ms Ranjit Sandhu and would describe the result as amazing and transformational. I was hoping for my eyesight to return to my pre cataract vision, it did far more than this as I now have excellent unaided vision for distance as well as for near. I now have better vision than I have ever had before, and don’t need glasses anymore! I was advised before the operation that a side effect may be an increase in Halo & Glare when driving at night, however, I have not experienced this and am very comfortable with my night driving vision. In summary my vision has been transformed thanks to Visio and I would highly recommend them.

This was largely due to Lisa, the secretary, who recognised the extreme pain I was in and responded with real compassion, kindness, and a can-do attitude. Her understanding and efficiency made it possible for me to be seen so promptly. The consultation with Ms El Kafsi was excellent. She took the time to explain the medical procedure thoroughly and clearly, and I never felt rushed. She was reassuring, professional, and made sure I fully understood everything and had the opportunity to ask questions. Overall, my experience was extremely positive and I felt very well cared for from start to finish.

Booked an appointment and was seen 2 days later. Dr Chopra was very friendly, took a case history and examined my skin condition. He made suggestions as to the cheapest course of action, which he personally wouldn't have financially benefitted from, which showed real integrity as a doctor. I went ahead with a biopsy, which was quickly and skilfully performed, and dissolving sutures were deliberately used as to save me from needing a return visit, thus reducing costs and time. Dr Chopra clearly cares not only about his patients but also seeks to provide medical attention in the most cost effective manner for his patients.

I had a video consultation with Dr Kallis. In the previous months I had a abdominal ultrasound scan and a CT abdomen and pelvis dual phase scan which appeared to show conflicting results. Dr Kallis explained the purpose and limitations of such scans as the reason for such conflicts, which I found understandable and reassuring. He also outlined the appropriate tests to take to clarify any remaining issues. Dr Kallis was patient and clear in responding to any questions I had. The organisation of the video consultation was very efficiently handled by his Medical Secretary. I would certainly recommend Dr Kallis

The word cancer is a very scary word. From the moment I met Mr Ghosh I felt in safe hands. He was kind, clear, professional and most of all he has - and is - looking after me very well. I feel in very safe hands. Every appointment is scheduled by his wonderful PA before I even reach home from the last appointment, which makes me feel like there is a plan at a time where you feel there really isn't a plan. He is supported by a wonderful team (thank you Heather!) and I honestly wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
