We chose Fitzrovia Suite as its part of big NHS hospital in case of any unexpected emergency, it made us feel comfortable being just 1 floor away in case anything happens. The team is wonderful and professional able to create a sense of safety and calm in those moments before and after birth. They were supportive during one of the most vulnerable and delicate experiences a woman can go through, offering practical tips, guidance, emotional support and truly personal care at any hour, for any question or request we had. Midwifes supported us looking after our baby so we can get some sleep waking us is time for feeds, meds and breastfeed support. The midwifes were also available on WhatsApp after the birth, which was incredibly helpful. There is so much information to process when you’re discharged home, and having the ability to ask follow-up questions and get quick clarifications made a huge difference for us. Facility itself is clean, catering is nice, rooms were comfortable, branded toiletries are provided -great experience.

I had my hysterectomy 2.5 weeks after my initial consultation. My bleeding was so heavy that between Mr Pakarian and his amazing PA Emily, they managed to squeeze me in before Christmas. I saw him on my 6 week follow up and he said it was all a success. He said the fibroid was still there and that my previous treatment had not been effective at all. And he wouldn’t have recommended it in the first place as the fibroid was so big. He has now rectified the mistake and even apologised for the previous consultants error. He kept me informed the whole way through my time with him in letters to me and my GP and has said I can contact him anytime if I have any problems. I had the operation at Goring Hall and my consultations at Montefoire. Goring Hall were amazing and looked after me so well. It was like I was in a hotel. I can’t speak hugely enough about the staff I have encountered on this journey. And I am hugely grateful and appreciative of all the help and care I received.

Professor Plaha is an incredibly rare human being. Within 24 hours of my MRI scan being sent to him, he took responsibility for my care. The subsequent week, he met with me and guided me through my condition with a clear prognosis and a plan for treatment. He referred me onwards to other neurologists who were able to adapt my medication accordingly to ensure pre-operative stability. Along with his expert team, he operated to resect my tumour in a highly sensitive location with precision and success. He followed up after surgery with histology results and I have recently met with him at GenesisCare in Oxford, which promptly took place after my 3 month post operative MRI scan. In clinic, and as always - he exuded true warmth, humility, professionalism and integrity. He is a true specialist in his field and I am gracious to be under his care. Where anyone is looking for a true expert in his field in difficult and challenging circumstances, you must go no further.

Dr Deepak Parasuraman made both my daughter and me feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were attending for a children’s ADHD assessment, and I was very anxious as my daughter is excellent at masking her symptoms. Before the assessment even began, Dr Parasuraman took time to build rapport with her — making her laugh and helping her feel comfortable — which allowed her to be her true, confident self. He is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced. The room felt like an open, safe space to talk, and he explained everything clearly while thoughtfully observing my daughter. Dr Parasuraman was professional, understanding, and genuinely empathetic throughout. I highly recommend MUMS for this service, particularly with Dr Deepak Parasuraman, and will be recommending them to anyone who needs similar support. I first had a consultation with Ms Rahman in 2023 as I had significant floaters in my left eye that were causing problems, especially with night driving. After a thorough examination of my eyes, Ms Rahman explained the procedure that she would perform of a combined cataract and vitrectomy operation. Although a very daunting prospect, Ms Rahman's knowledge, experience and confidence put my mind at rest. She explained what would happen and the after care required. The operation was a success and after a follow up consultation, I was signed off. I recently returned to Ms Rahman for slight posterior capsular opacification which she sorted immediately with YAG laser treatment. I cannot recommend Ms Rahman highly enough. Not only is she highly skilled Consultant Opthamologist & Vitreoretinal Surgeon, she's a kind and considerate lady.

My appointment with Miss Preshaw was excellent. During our initial conversation she was attentive and seemed genuinely interested in my symptoms and medical history. She was able to make connections between minor complaints that have previously been dismissed/ignored, and suggest tests to rule out conditions that might cause them. I was particularly impressed by how supportive she was of the care I had received by her colleagues in the NHS, even when she felt certain things had been overlooked. I left with a clear plan of action and a sense that things were being put in motion. The follow up letters to myself and my GP were sent very clearly and accurately reflected my understanding of the appointment.

I have been under Mr Rudol’s care for the last 9 weeks , following an MRI that revealed I required spinal surgery . This came as a great shock as it was such an acute event . Mr Rudol took time to talk me through my imaging , showed me exactly where the issue was , what the surgery entailed and recovery time . Mr Rudol kindly and eloquently discussed risks , expectations and really eased the process and fear of the surgery, he encouraged questions from myself and my partner and answered with detail and honesty. My surgery was a success and the after care has been as compassionate and professional as my pre operative journey .

I had a top-class experience with Dr Khaled Ayazi. He was extremely knowledgeable, clear, and informative, and took the time to explain the procedure in a reassuring way. This made a big difference, especially as my father was quite nervous. My father’s English is not very strong as it is not his first language, but this was not an issue at all—Dr Khaled Ayazi was able to speak his language, which was a huge plus. It immediately put my father at ease and made the overall experience even better. I would highly recommend Dr Khaled Ayazi to other patients.

On arrival, and in good time, there was a huge que at the reception desk with only one member of staff trying to deal with patients. We waiting a very long time even to be acknowledged so, not wanting to be late for our appointment, we made our own way to the area A. We were then approached another member of staff in Area A who was able to give us the forms we should have received at reception. Knowing that a significant number of patients were due in the recetion should have been fully staffed with an expeditious way in processing through.

My recent visit to the Fortius Clinic for removal of stitches and a post operative assessment was short, on time and to the point. On arrival, as always for previous appointments, the reception staff were briefed and I was immediately sent to the correct location, waiting time in a comfortable environment was minimal before being called in to see my surgeon, Mr Houlihan-Burne. who took the time to answer a few questions. and assure me that should there be any future queries or worries, he & his staff were always available. Went in for a endometrial ablation, was signed in quickly and was kept informed about what was going on and what to expect, during the procedure the nurses and the patient advocate Suki did a great job at distracting me and reminding me to breathe and relax my muscles, Mr Biswas kept me informed of what he was doing throughout the procedure and kept asking me where my pain level was, which was reassuring as I was quite anxious, had some time after to make sure I was fine, had a hot chocolate and some biscuits, then went home.

He explained all my options & what I could expect from the various treatments. I left feeling relieved from my visit & hopefully will not need to return, but if necessary would be quite happy to. I had my Bariatric sleeve surgery on 28/10/2025, I was thoroughly looked after from start to finish by Chris, Emma and all the theatre staff. They looked after me when I woke up in a lot of pain post opp and kept me calm. Joseph in Pharmacy helped me with meds to ensure I was not in pain and didn’t have nausea. Already Iv lost over 2.5 stone and feel so much healthier. Thank you to Chris and Emma and everyone else for my great care.

Waited about 20min for my appointment with consultant Then during my meeting with him He took a non urgent phone call my appointment that lasted approximately 10-15 mins He discharged me despite me saying I am getting lots of pain that disrupts my sleep and painkillers don’t help! I would have liked to have been referred to physio. But I was not offered it or anything except lift your arm forwards!
