I knew from my first meeting with Mr Colin Holton that I had finally, after over 2 years, found the right man to help me. He is very approachable, an excellent listener & always answered my (many!) questions in detail. He explained clearly what my options were & what would happen at each stage. I had left & right total hip replacements in June 2022 & January 2023 respectively. Mr Holton & his team were excellent throughout. Each stage was clearly explained in a friendly, reassuring manner & always with a smile to help put you at ease. I now have an excellent range of movement & I can walk normally again with no pain. I am able to climb hills, cycle, swim & generally live my life again! I had struggled to walk 200 metres prior to my surgery & as a hillwalker this was devastating for me. To say that Colin Holton has given me my life back would be an understatement. There are not the words to say how grateful I am to have had such an excellent surgeon who is also a very kind man who instils confidence in his patients. I cannot thank him enough. His secretary Andrea deserves a mention too, she is very efficient with a kind & helpful manner.
