From my first consultation through to my last when I was discharged from his care, Bilal has been the most reassuring, calm, informative, patient and genuinely caring surgeon I could have wished for. During that first consultation he was not pushy and was very clear and thorough in his reasoning for recommending a TKR. He then explained what he would do during the procedure, what recovery would be like and his role throughout the process. Even when I had to postpone my operation due to an unrelated illness, he and his assistant were understanding and flexible, rescheduling for when would be most convenient for me. On the day of the operation, Bilal was at the hospital before I arrived and came to see me and again provide reassurance and clarity on what was happening. I next saw him in the anaesthetic area and I was in no doubt that I was in great hands. In the recovery area afterwards he was there making sure I was feeling as well as could be and then visited my room on both days post surgery to assess my progress and let me know his opinion. When I was in need of a repeat prescription for pain medication he was prompt and during my first post op consultation he was very encouraging, understanding and also clear on milestones I needed to hit. He also provided a sick note after discussing this with me. My last consultation was similar, and he first to say happy new year as well. I have a long way to go but I count myself lucky that I landed in the care of Bilal, and would recommend him to anyone with an acute knee condition.

I went to the Urgent Care Centre at Chase Lodge Hospital, Mill Hill London on Saturday Nov. 29th 2025. I was seen immediately by an outstanding Urgent Care MD, Dr. Jalal Moradzadeh. He listened, he checked me thoroughly, ordered the required tests, sent me for Chest-Xray (done on site), while spending the time explaining it all. At the end, he diagnosed with bacterial pneumonia and bilateral conjunctivitis, prescribed the appropriate treatment which was started on-site (pharmacy on site). The following day, a Sunday, he arranged for me a Chest-CT and an appointment with respiratory physician specialist for the following Monday. The whole team, each and everyone, the receptionists, the nurse, the Xray person and the pharmacist were all helpful, efficient and professional. They all played a role in my speedy recovery. I returned to the Centre on Saturday Jan. 17th and was seen again by Dr. Dr. Jalal Moradzadeh on a related issue and again encountered, professionalism, efficiency all with a smile.

When I entered the premises I couldn’t believe the transformation that had taken place as I was familiar with the building when it was a hairdressing salon. It was spacious, immaculate and tranquil. Having been quite anxious before my appointment, I quickly relaxed as all the staff were extremely friendly and kind. All the tests were performed swiftly and smoothly with every concern for my comfort and my understanding of the procedures involved. Mrs. Matthews explained my forthcoming cataract surgery clearly, comprehensively and reassuringly and I was very pleased to be offered the surgery I such a short space of time. All in all I couldn’t have wished for a better experience with North Wales Eye Specialist Centre.

From the moment I was admitted to being discharged, the whole experience was exemplary! All of the staff from the receptionists to the doctors, nurses, auxiliary assistants, catering staff, cleaners, porters and obviously the surgeon (Sam Rajaratanam) and anaesthetist (Barry Phillips) were all amazing. The care was absolutely 1st class. Not only was everyone extremely diligent and professional, they were all personable, friendly and charming. Whilst undergoing major surgery, I felt thoroughly looked after and in safe hands from a great team. I really can't thank everyone enough and recommend this fantastic facility more highly. Top Class!!!

I sought a second opinion from Mr Tailor, because I had a large ovarian cyst on my left ovary. Mr Tailor was very reassuring and took time to fully explain my condition and my best options for treatment. He recommended that I have a bilateral Salpingo-oophorectomy. Mr Tailor carried out the procedure (via keyhole surgery) and I made a good recovery with very little discomfort. Mr Tailor was very kind and had an excellent bedside manner. It was very easy to communicate with him via WhatsApp or email and he kept me fully informed throughout my treatment. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

I attended Spire Leicester for surgery to repair a rectus femoris tendon rupture. Mr. Aujla was totally transparent and very detailed in explaining the whole process. The end to end communication was excellent and very reassuring. On the day of surgery, the admission process was superb and Mr Aujla bedside manner was superb. It made me feel that I was in good hands. Post surgery Mr Aujla came to see me to make sure I was comfortable and in no pain. I remained in contact with Mr Aujla in my recovery period. My recovery has been excellent and I would recommend Mr Aujla to anyone.

Staff very friendly and nice facilities. However, my experience booking an appointment was frustrating. The consultant’s PA insisted that I go to GenesisCare for the ultrasound but then booked my appointment on a day where the technician was on annual leave, so I had to make an extra visit. I was unhappy to need a second visit just for ultrasound - the consultant’s PA insisted that I see the consultant at GenesisCare, which is less convenient location. but booked my appointment on a day where the technician was on annual leave.

I have always been happy with the service and patient experience at the London Clinic. However, when I went for my MRI on a Saturday morning, MRI department was closed and there was no information about it. I had to go around the hospital to try and find out what was going on. After about an hour I was finally sent to another MRI scanner on a different floor . The clinicians there were lovely and very apologetic about the experience I had although it was not their fault.
