Review for Podiatrist Consultant Liam Stapleton I have been a patient of Liam Stapleton for several years, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Liam is consistently professional, attentive, and genuinely thorough. He always takes the time to listen carefully, explains everything clearly, and makes sure you fully understand both the problem and the treatment options. What really sets him apart is how deeply he thinks about each case rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach. He looks at issues from multiple angles, not just the painful area itself. He considers overall functionality, gait, posture, and the geometry of movement, and how all of these interact and impact the body. This holistic and biomechanical approach has made a huge difference to my outcomes over the years. You never feel rushed, dismissed, or treated like a number. I had a consultant review with Dr Shaikh for the re-initiation and titration of medication for a pre-existing ADHD diagnosis, and I was extremely impressed with the care I received. Dr Shaikh reviewed my previous clinical notes in a timely manner, which allowed him to offer me an initial appointment very quickly. He was attentive, professional, and took the time to fully understand my situation and reasons for seeking treatment again. He came across as highly knowledgeable and experienced in ADHD, and the discussion around medication options was clear, thorough, and informative. I felt listened to and supported throughout the consultation. Following the appointment, I received my clinic letter very quickly and was given the opportunity to suggest any amendments, which were addressed promptly. Dr Shaikh also provided a letter of support for education and employment without me having to ask, which was incredibly helpful and thoughtful. Overall, my experience with Dr Shaikh was excellent, and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking an ADHD assessment.

I can’t recommend Debra highly enough as a physio. I had physio for my middle child 5 years ago with Debra and again with my now 10 month old baby. Debra is calm, patient, and so knowledgeable, which instantly put both me and my baby at ease. She has a wonderful way of engaging with babies, turning each session into something that feels more like play than therapy, while still being incredibly effective. She always takes the time to explain what she’s doing and how we can support our baby’s progress at home, which has been so reassuring as a parent. We’ve always seen such positive progress under her care, and I’m so grateful to have had her support. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Debra to any parent looking for a skilled, compassionate, and trustworthy paediatric physio.

Sarah is a super friendly and helpful physiotherapist. She designs my plan, demonstrating and then watching me do the exercises to ensure I am doing them correctly. She also determines the correct weight for each exercise which I would not have had any idea about. My lower back sciatic type pain is improving as is my strength. The MoveHealth App is excellent and I can log my progress there and see videos of each exercise to check between reviews I am doing them correctly. The location is perfect for me and each review session has been helpful for my progress. There is no pressure to have a review - only when it seems appropriate. Very happy and grateful for Sarah's expertise and guidance.

This is my second surgery in the Cleveland Clinic and once again It was without fault and without equal. All the staff from the nurses, surgeon, anaesthetist, porters & dinner team are so friendly, kind and display genuine care to patients/my family. My surgery with Dr Nikolaos was easy, quick and surprisingly a nice day despite circumstances of my health! He is an amazing professor with a keen interest in rib problems which is rare in itself but he was also very bubbly, reassuring and friendly i look forward to seeing what he publishes next on all things slipped rib syndrome as this painful condition has been very challenging to me and he was the one to fix it! I first saw Professor Finlay as an NHS patient in January 2025 and one of the first things he said was that he could definitely improve my heart arrhythmia and improve my quality of life. He was right. He explained everything clearly without a lot of medical jargon and listened to my concerns. He is down to earth and doesn’t sugar coat things. He has seen me regularly for consultations and carried out another procedure when it became necessary. In these days where it’s sometimes difficult to trust people, I can honestly say that I trust Professor Finlay 100% to do the very best for me. I feel great and at 82 looking forward to travelling to Cairo next month.

Dr Martin was wonderful with my Mother who had been diagnosed with Heart Failure and at that time her symptoms were not controlled and a 999 call was required for hospital intervention. Under the NHS we had been told (despite the seriousness of the test results) that there would be a 12 month wait so we opted to seek out private care and Dr Martin was available for an appointment very quickly. Dr Martin was very thorough and took the time to fully explain his findings & recommend further tests to understand further. He was patient and kind to my Mother who has been very unwell and struggling to process all this new information.

Mr Michael Wearne

It is now several weeks since Mr Wearne fitted me with Galaxy lens implants in both eyes and it has exceeded my expectations. Before I had been using disposable contact lenses for about 25 years with all the inconvenience involved. I was hoping that the replacement lenses would remove the to need for any sight aids at all and to leave me with acceptable night vision. Now I have better vision at all distances and in all lights, far better than I was expecting. Mr Wearne was very thorough in the consultation and pre assessments, and when carrying out the procedure both he and the nurses were re-assuring and caring.

Ms Anderco has been a great help in dealing with a complex set of problems, a number of which are not strictly within her specialism. I came to her after waiting a significant amount of time in the NHS referral system with some worrying and hard to explain symptoms. While I don't have a definitive explanation for everything going on, I feel she has gone above and beyond to try and understand the problems, rule out any serious possible causes and assist my progress in the NHS system. Her efforts and explanations have been a great help in reassuring me while I wait for the next steps

It is a very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Each patient (and accompanying person) seemed to have a good interaction with the staff. There was a good discussion with Mr. Smith on the situation with respect to the eyes and possible treatments which may also need to be done elsewhere. He listened to my comments and questions and responded in a clear way. During the treatment care was taken to warn me of any possible pressure on the face, but Mr. Smith has a light touch so there was never any problem. All three treatments in 2025 were done very well.

All staff, including the receptionist, were very nice and helpful. The hospital waiting areas and the consulting room were very clean and well maintained. There were unlimited free hot drinks and water available for waiting patients. Whilst the hospital does not have a car park, there was plenty of on-street parking available (charges varying up to £6.50 for 4 hours - enforced until 8pm), even on a busy Friday traffic wise after 4pm, when I arrived.
