I would not go back to this dental practice again.. I was booked in to have an extraction by a surgeon who I have since found out only comes in on a Tuesday. I was not that impressed with her bedside manner or the Nurse.. I was extremely traumatised and told them I was nervous. The extraction took a really long time and was not an easy removal and was extremely uncomfortable. I was shaking like a leaf and afterwards,, I was basically dismissed and sent away without being offered any form of empathy. I’ve since had terrible problems and I’m in a lot of pain four days later. I rang the dentist this morning. who then informed me that the surgeon only comes in once a week and I needed to go back to my own dentist, which is quite a drive away. I’m not impressed at all and would definitely not return. Also, the Dental practice is obviously undergoing some sort of renovation. The waiting room was a blank white room with no window extremely uninviting, no music not good when you are an extremely nervous patient waiting to have a horrible procedure done .not a good experience for me I’m afraid.

I am writing to formally complain about misleading advertising by the clinic Skin55. Their website led me to believe that laser treatments were available at the clinic, and I booked a consultation directly with the clinic, not with any specific doctor. However, upon attending the appointment, I was informed that the clinic did not have the required laser equipment and that not all doctors at Skin55 perform laser treatments. This discrepancy meant that I paid an initial consultation fee of £300, only to then be told that I would need to be referred to another doctor within the same clinic who does provide laser treatments. This second consultation was then quoted at £380. This sequence of events highlights a lack of transparency and constitutes misleading advertising, resulting in unnecessary expenses and inconvenience. I believe that this matter warrants investigation to ensure that Skin55’s practices align with advertising and consumer-protection regulations. I am prepared to provide supporting documentation upon request

I've seen the Joint Injection doctor twice, had two injections, and both were very helpful. The first visit was after I suffered some tissue injury to an arthritic knee and had some fluid removed and a cortisone injection, which gave me immediate relief and was the catalyst to me returning to exercise. I was having ongoing stiffness in the same joint and returned six months later. After consultation I chose to have a hyaluronic acid injection. This made a big difference to the pain, stiffness and function of my knee and has meant I am able now to properly rebuild strength on that side. Dr Thing is easy to talk to, and I felt he really supported what I am trying to do, which is to stay highly active and delay the point I will need surgery for as long as possible. He is very well informed and explained clearly the pros and cons of various approaches to managing arthritis of the knee. He is also skilled at what he does, the injections are ultrasound guided to ensure correct placement and both injections were painless.

I recently visited dr chitnis with a wrist injury that had been ongoing since February this year. He was very professional and was able to tell me my MRI results promptly and answer all questions that I had. He then got me booked in for surgery, he explained in great detail which procedures I would be having and what to expect. I was very nervous for the surgery but he was quick to put my mind at ease. I’ve since seen him at a few follow up appointments for dressing/stitch removal and then also to check the mobility of my wrist after surgery. He gave me physio/exercise and scar massage instructions, explaining to me very clearly what to do and what to expect at each stage of my recovery. I felt extremely at ease at all appointments and am very grateful he was able to rectify my injury.

I was not sure what to expect as everything has been on a slow go. This Dr however, was calm, apologetic, kind and patient. She saw me. I was not just another hospital number. Dr Sala, made me feel comfortable, she listened to me, she gave me good interpretation and explanation, she spoke in detail about steps she will be taking to ensure that every avenue is explored to ensure nothing is missed. I felt so grateful that someone was finally listening. She examined me, I went for a blood test, (Thyroid included). I was given antibiotics to start just incase I have still got bacteria in my gut or causing inflammation. Overall I was well pleased with the service, and have gained my faith back in the NHS.

My whole experience was exceptional. From the first consultation Mr Davies explained everything to me in detail, asked me many questions and really listened to what I had to say, it felt so good to be heard and not feeling rushed. From checking in at 7am until I left in the afternoon every member of staff I dealt with was so kind and reassuring, I felt very safe and confident. Mr Davies again went through everything and I felt reassured. My surgery was a month ago and I feel wonderful, no pain and my life is a lot easier. I’m very grateful to all the staff that took such good care of me, and thank you to Mr Davies for keeping me fully informed every step of the way, and for making my life a lot easier.

Mr. Waterhouse was my choice because of his honesty, understanding, knowledge, advice and confidence during my consultations for my neck lift and submandibular gland removal. (Which he advised In fact, around 90% of the glands were removed. Which has given me my jawline back) He tailored his approach specifically to me, and now, at 8 weeks post-op, I am extremely happy with the results. I can honestly say I experienced absolutely no pain, with minimal bruising and swelling, and my scars are already virtually undetectable. This is truly a testament to Mr. Waterhouse’s skill.

My visit to Duchy Hospital for a hip resurfacing was a wondreful experienece and the total care and attention I recieved was first class. Every step of the way was clearly explained and the operation and two day stay on the ward meant that I was ready to go home to recuperate and my progress over the last five weeks means that I can return to a 'normal' life with no pain in my right hip. Mr Norton is an excellent surgeon and his attention to patient welfare is exemplary. I recommend the Ramsay service to anybody thinking about surgery.

Dr Mulla listened... fortunately he is up to date on my particular, rather ambiguous, condition. I get the impression that he keeps up to date with latest developments and findings in his field of ENT. If only I had been able to see him 18 months ago, I would have been sorted in just one consultation. He is very personable, professional, friendly and efficent (by that I mean he dictated his letter to my GP in front of me before I left my appointment). This was a moment when you feel the NHS is at its best.

I have been going to this practice for some years now and they have never failed to be genuinely supportive, kind, pragmatic, responsive to my needs. They have given excellent dental care throughout despite me being a blooming awkward patient! If you are fearful of dentists for whatever reason, I would encourage you to contact these guys, they can be trusted to help.

Thoroughly impressed with The Harborne Hospital. The moment you walk in you know you’ve entered a place that really cares. Ultra clean, comfortable and welcoming. Every member of staff had a smile on their faces. As a designer I pay attention to detail and hats off to the person who decided to place Temple Spa scents in the waiting area. Made feel like I was in a 5 star hotel. Such a lovely and pleasant atmosphere. Totally forgot I was in a hospital.

The audiologist was very helpful and gave me a referral letter to see the Doctor and once the infection has cleared I could return to complete the wax removal . Parking good, reception good, pharmacy good, everywhere very clean. All staff were friendly and efficient. They made sure that they had the right person for the right procedure, made sure I was hydrated and well, and checked that I would be looked after at home afterwards. I was very impressed. Also the sandwich afterwards was lovely.
