20/10 I was recommended to Dr Alek by multiple friends, including one who is a doctor herself and trained under him. He came highly, highly recommended and is known as the best in the business — and I can completely understand why. From the moment I walked into the practice, I was warmly greeted by Sam, the practice administrator. She was friendly, welcoming, and made me feel right at home. Thank you, Sam! I’ve seen many aesthetic doctors and practitioners before, and Dr Alek is by far the best I’ve ever experienced. Previously, consultations felt rushed — numbing cream applied, a quick question about what I wanted, and straight into the procedure. With Dr Alek, it was completely different. We began with a thorough consultation where we discussed my concerns, the procedures I was interested in, and everything I’ve previously had done — including where, when, and any medications I’m on. He then did a full facial assessment, looking at proportions, symmetry, and structure. He carefully felt for any existing filler or lumps, explained what they were, and clearly walked me through what we can and can’t do moving forward. Everything was explained in a way that was detailed yet easy to understand. We created a thoughtful plan of action together, and what stood out most was that he never once tried to “sell” me on anything — something I’ve experienced with every other practitioner before. It’s immediately clear that he truly cares about his patients, has an incredible passion for what he does, and an exceptional eye for detail. He really knows his craft. Today we did Botox, and it was genuinely pain-free. He is precise, intentional, and incredibly gentle. As soon as I left, I couldn’t wait to call my husband and tell him how amazing the experience was. I’ve now officially joined my group of friends who cannot recommend Dr Alek highly enough. I had a consultant review with Dr Shaikh for the re-initiation and titration of medication for a pre-existing ADHD diagnosis. I chose Mentis Clinic as it was the most affordable option I found during my research, particularly considering that their service includes consultant review, medication titration appointments, prescriptions, and a shared care agreement. My previous notes were reviewed promptly, and I was offered an initial consultant appointment within a week, followed by a titration appointment the following week. Dr Shaikh was very attentive and took the time to understand my circumstances and reasons for seeking re-initiation and titration of medication. There was no waiting list, which meant I was seen extremely quickly. The pharmacy also handled my prescription efficiently, with medication delivered in a timely manner. After the initial consultant review, I received my clinic letter very quickly and was given the opportunity to request amendments, which were dealt with promptly. I was provided with comprehensive information about medication options and was also given a letter of support for education and employment without even having to request one, which was something I genuinely needed. I am extremely satisfied with the service I have received from Mentis Clinic and would highly recommend them to anyone seeking assessment or ongoing care for ADHD.

Mr Salim is a one of a kind doctor - his genuine care, empathy, and understanding is unparalleled and I feel so lucky to have been in his care going through my egg freezing journey. The experience I had with Mr Salim and his team was night and day to a previous experience. Mr. Salim went above and beyond during the process to settle my worries and make sure I had a positive experience (knowing that I'd had a less positive experience previously) e.g., making sure he was the one to do my retrieval even though he wasn't on rota, making sure I always see him for my check-in appointments, and always embracing my (many) questions with a patient and kind response. I truly felt like he cared as much as I did about the outcome of my treatment and I will forever be grateful for him for getting me the 13 eggs he did! His nursing team take the same empathetic approach as every nurse I interacted with was kind, patient, and caring - not to mention incredibly responsive with communications over email. I would (and have been) recommend Mr Salim to any woman going through fertility issues, dealing with PCOS, endometriosis etc. He is the best out there and I wish only more gynecologists could be like him!

My most recent visit was for an MRI scan which occurred in in the mobile unit. My oncologist requested a full spinal scan as well as a head and neck scan. The radiographer told me that this wasn’t possible then proceeded to ask me to choose one or the other. I wasn’t qualified to make this decision as both were equally important. There was insufficient information given as to the reason for not being able to have the scans I was booked in for, which really wasn’t good enough. Having waited quite a few weeks for this appointment I am annoyed that I will have to return next week to have the spinal scan. I expect better.

I was admitted to St Mary’s for emergency upper GI surgery and had the good fortune to be assigned to Lal Navaratne. I have never before known such a caring, friendly, considerate, down-to-earth consultant. Lal not only saved my life (laparoscopically!) he visited me twice a day during recovery, arranged a transfer to my chosen ward, and introduced me to a charming health coordination doctor. Lal is everything one would wish for in a medical professional, a brilliant surgeon, and a really lovely human being. My overall care at St Mary’s was first class and second to none, in which Lal played a key role.

Dr Charlotte Frise is an excellent doctor. Despite the multiple complications I had, she had time for me even when she was off duty. She saw me through until I sailed through. I was never afraid at any point even when I couldn’t breathe and had oxygen of 80% on room air, I was motivated. Her smile was always soothing and reassuring, it felt like family. She treats patients like family and it’s heartwarming in difficult times. I begin to tear up when I express how I feel about the care she gave me. Am very impressed and grateful for her services. The NHS is blessed to have doctors like her.

Both occasions on visiting the practice have been fantastic. Having a fear of the dentist isn’t great, but the reassurance from the staff is absolutely second to none. Talking through the steps to give you an indication of what’s going on etc. checking in constantly to make sure everything is ok with the procedure taking place! The staff are professional and very friendly, the practice is probably one of the best I’ve ever visited. It doesn’t have a normal sterile dentist feel to it! Again a great experience for someone who isn’t particularly keen on visiting the dentist.

I suddenly saw “shooting stars” on the outside of my vision in one eye. Realising this could have been a retinal tear needing emergency treatment to save my vision, I immediately made a private appointment to see Mr Alexander. The service I received was absolutely fantastic. My eyes were thoroughly examined by Mr Alexander who has an excellent bedside manner. He explained everything clearly, answered my questions and made a plan going forward. Luckily, my retina was intact and no treatment was required. The sense of relief I felt was priceless.

I would highly recommend Mr Larholt for surgery. He is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain all of my options and the procedure clearly, which made me feel confident and reassured throughout the process. The surgery on my foot itself was excellent, the incisions were very neat, the stitching was precise, and scarring has been minimal. I am very pleased with the results and the overall standard of care. I will absolutely be using Mr Larholt again in the future when I need further surgery on my other foot.

I recently had my gallbladder removed by Mr Stuart Gould at the Clementine Churchill hospital. I’m a week post op. I am healing well. I cannot thank Mr Gould and all of the staff and nurses that looked after me at the hospital. Operation was a success. The hospital it self is so well managed. A big thanks again to all staff again. Very good ,only thing is after surgery and just before final appointment I was asked for my bank details I had paid everything last Nov a month before my surgery they agreed everything was paid but wanted to have a bank card on record ,Why ? I was asked again when I went to see mr smith for my final check up ,absolutely no need if front of other people when I didn't owe anything it made me feel like I owed something even though she said it was a token just to have it on record

I have always been happy with the service and patient experience at the London Clinic. However, when I went for my MRI on a Saturday morning, MRI department was closed and there was no information about it. I had to go around the hospital to try and find out what was going on. After about an hour I was finally sent to another MRI scanner on a different floor . The clinicians there were lovely and very apologetic about the experience I had although it was not their fault.

Every stage of my procedure for my cataract operations (both eyes a week apart) went like 'a dream' from the excellent initial Consultation with Professor Luff, to the 2 excellently/professionally executed outpatient operations he and his excellent team carried out, to the excellent aftercare and not to mention the miraculous results!. If anyone (like me!) is petrified of such procedures I would highly recommend Professor Luff and his Sapphire Team.
