After 3 years of ongoing symptoms, countless tests and multiple gynaecologists, I had completely given up hope of ever finding a solution to my problem. However, when I found Dr Lord’s website and saw that she was a true authority on recurrent, treatment-resistant thrush, I finally allowed myself to hope again! Her wonderful Private Secretary, Toyah, was so kind and empathetic and went above and beyond to get me in quickly for an initial consultation. Then when I met with Emily I was blown away by every element of her approach – the holistic evaluation of my situation, the fact that even in a short time she had read my full medical history, the way she was incredibly thorough and knowledgeable whilst still being funny, caring, understanding and down-to-earth, and the clear way she laid out my treatment plan and next steps. She is clearly very passionate about helping women with this unique problem and is also at the forefront of treatment options and solutions to get people back to being happy and healthy again! After years of feeling frustrated, confused and at a complete loss as to what to do next, within 45 minutes with Emily I had a full treatment plan and reassurance that she'd be there for me until we had the right solution. If I could give her 6 stars I would, she’s one in a million and by far the best experience I’ve ever had with a medical professional.

I was referred to Genesis by the NHS consultant oncologist to receive radiotherapy and hormone treatment for for my diagnosed advanced prostate cancer. I was seen very quickly at the Newmarket (Cambridge) branch of Genesis. The facilities are modern with state of the art CT and radiotherapy equipment. At all times the staff of all disciplines and specialties were extremely helpful and understanding. After 4 weeks (20 sessions) of radiotherapy my regular attendance finished. However I will continue to have regular reviews there with the oncologist and be given the specialist hormone therapy and other pills to be taken for 2 years. Another impressive feature at Genesis is the inclusion of gym sessions under personal guidance from two expert trainers. This is most helpful in countering the muscle loss resulting from hormone therapy. I am continuing with these sessions for some weeks after completing my treatment. In summary, Genesis Care has provided the highest possible standard of specialist cancer treatment and I would strongly recommend this organisation when radiotherapy treatment is needed.

My daughter has been seeing a physiotherapist since she was a toddler and has carried on once we moved from London. Her physiotherapist in Central Bedfordshire requested that we have a consultation with Dr Verma and his team in 2023. We had a meeting with the physiotherapist, Dr Verma and his team to review what could be done to help my daughter. Her feet were turned in, her legs were turned in and her hips are turned in. We decided that we would correct the right foot first, then we would move on to the left foot and then when she is in her late teens her hips. We have been fully informed of the procedures and the recovery time throughout the process. After having the right food done, we can see that when my daughter walks her leg is actually straight. So, we are hoping that after she has her physio on her left foot the same will happen. This will help her a great deal especially with her posture and being able to do things a peer her age would be able to do.

I came in today for surgery feeling incredibly nervous after a bad experience on the NHS previously, all I can say is I am so impressed with how different the process has been with the team today. Everyone from reception to the nurses to the anesthesiologist and of course Mr Banwell were genuinely fantastic and I can’t thank them enough. No question or ask was too much, I truly felt genuine care and warmth from all the staff. They checked on me regularly, reassured me constantly. My pain has been managed incredibly well and Mr Banwell’s precision has most definitely aided this too. I can’t be more grateful for everyone that cared for me today, Thank you all so much.

On arrival the receptionist was really friendly. I checked my details then went for to see the consultant Mr Sherif (not sure on spelling) he was efficient and professional and his nurse was really friendly. Then the mammogram with a really lovely technician. She was friendly and gentle and told me what she was doing each and every step. Then a short wait of about 10 minutes and off to the ultrasound which was carried out by friendly and professional staff. Then my final stop back to see the consultant “the Sherif” ! Where he delivered the good news followed by some advice. What a super friendly and efficient service! Can’t fault it Xx

Mr Vishwanath performed my squint surgery, and I couldn’t be happier with how life-changing the results have been. I had the surgery in September and have now been completely signed off, with the procedure proving to be a huge success. For the first time in my life, I am able to drive without glasses or any worries, and I am no longer dependent on them at all. I now find sports far more enjoyable and feel much more able to do things I previously couldn’t. I went at 11 weeks for a scan and for a NIPT test. The booking process was excellent, the members on the phone were so helpful and considerate. My appointment with Dr Desi was on time and extremely thorough. She was so compassionate, caring and kind throughout the appointment, explaining everything each step of the way and being extremely thorough through the scan and explaining our NIPT options. It’s the best consulting experience I’ve had throughout my pregnancy. Reception staff were extremely helpful too. I would really recommend LPC to any expecting couples. Staff at the practice seem to be unable to distinguish between NHS patients a d those who Are private and paying. Twice i was sent to the wrong waiting area with NHS patients. Only to be later sent to the private waiting area. As a paying patient i expect a certain level of compitance and care. So come on Barlborough, a little bit of interest in your role might help
