The Royal Free London Private Patients Unit

Private room badly refurbished from a two bed ward. Very poor heating system so room was cold and because there were three windows to the corridor, it could not be darkened - blinds ineffective. Bathroom newly refurbished but I was surprised there was no Arab douche facility or bidet. It is not acceptable to have to pull individual sheets of very poor quality toilet paper from a wall machine. There were shampoo bottles and body lotion but no soap bottles or dispenser. I know the NHS cannot compete with SJand E or the Wellington but I was dismayed by the standard. Care was good but rushed because of Christmas staffing levels.

I recently had a full face and neck lift with fat transfer done by Mr Azhar Iqbal ,this is my second procedure done by him, i put my full trust in him and i was so so happy i did , i was very nervous abt this procedure being done , after long thought i decided on having it done , the results are amazing to say the least , i get so many compliments of how fresh and natural my face looks , i would recommend Mr Iqbal to anybody , the aftercare was second to none i couldnt fault him and his team at Spire Liverpool at all xx

I have been Sophie’s client for the last 6 months. In that time I have felt my relationship with food and my confidence in myself grow. She has helped me change the beliefs I hold about food and helped me on the road to recovery from anorexia. As an autistic person, I have struggled in the past with connecting with health professionals but Sophie adapts the sessions to meet my needs. She always sends notes after our sessions which is useful in making sure I keep track of what I should be doing.

He's helped me with various other issues also - he is my go-to physiotherapist for any issues I have now.

The hospital was very clean, very friendly and very welcoming. I was shown to my room, given a menu for dinner that night as I was staying over. The staff were all very polite and attentive, even going above and beyond to get me a chocolate milkshake when the kitchen had shut. Very nice people and a very good stay after my first time going under anaesthetic

The security of having the same Gp who knows my history, and can give me face to face appointments if needed ,is absolutely worth every penny.

Had a visit recently pre-christmas for a TSW flare up. Doctor was extremely kind, took all my concerns on board and didn't push me into using any medication I didn't want to. Went away with a prescription for medication I was happy to use and am feeling much better. Would use again if it was required.

We haven’t received any blood test results, and it’s now nearly 3 weeks since they were done. We don’t know who to contact, we keep calling the outpatients phone number unsuccessfully. We are very disappointed, especially for the price of the consultation.
