Had an appointment for hip injections. I was seen on time. The consultant Mr Howell and radiologists Rachel and Natalie were all amazing. They were welcoming, friendly, professional and warm. They helped me to relax, feel comfortable, assured and confident. I have had the absolute pleasure of meeting many of the staff at St Hugh's and would recommend the hospital to anyone. The people are so genuine, lovely, human, friendly and professional. You are welcomed by the reception staff immediately upon arrival and the experience continues throughout. I appreciate that the staff work in a relatively calm setting, but they make the experience. This is a really well run hospital overseen by the director Ellen and her deputy Sarah. The consultants are of the highest quality. This is an amazing local resource which must be protected. The hospital undertake vital NHS work as well as private work. NHS pressures challenge the continued operation of St Hugh's, which would be a tragedy. Thanks and best wishes to everyone! Xx

I had my hysterectomy 2.5 weeks after my initial consultation. My bleeding was so heavy that between Mr Pakarian and his amazing PA Emily, they managed to squeeze me in before Christmas. I saw him on my 6 week follow up and he said it was all a success. He said the fibroid was still there and that my previous treatment had not been effective at all. And he wouldn’t have recommended it in the first place as the fibroid was so big. He has now rectified the mistake and even apologised for the previous consultants error. He kept me informed the whole way through my time with him in letters to me and my GP and has said I can contact him anytime if I have any problems. I had the operation at Goring Hall and my consultations at Montefoire. Goring Hall were amazing and looked after me so well. It was like I was in a hotel. I can’t speak hugely enough about the staff I have encountered on this journey. And I am hugely grateful and appreciative of all the help and care I received.

Mr Ben Yates is in my opinion an excellent podiatric surgeon who gives a very good clinical opinion. I was unhappy that Mr Yates charged me for a “new patient” appointment when this was in fact a follow up appointment lasting about 12 minutes following previous surgery by Mr Yates. Furthermore, I did not receive a clinic letter from Mr Yates until I chased it up more than 2 weeks after my appointment. I received no apology for the delay in sending the letter. Mr Yate’s clinical letter did not contain all the information promised at the consultation and I was obliged to chase this information again. I emailed Mr Ben Yates to raise my concerns but I did not receive a reply from him.

I have seen Dr Prashant for egg retrieval and investigatory tests and I couldn’t recommend him more highly. He is wonderfully black and white in the best possible sense — extremely transparent, clear and straightforward, which makes the whole process feel far less overwhelming. He is very easy to talk to, listens carefully, and explains everything in a way that is simple and easy to understand, so you always know what’s going on and what you need to do next. I’ve always felt that I’ve been given the best possible advice, with treatment options explained clearly and thoughtfully. He is efficient, kind, and reassuring and I’ve felt genuinely supported and well cared for throughout.

I was very pleased with my visit to The Forbury Clinic, and was really impressed with how clean and tidy it was, the receptionist was very pleasant and showed my wife and myself upstairs to the waiting area, it was very nice to meet Alexia, we both thought she was extremely pleasant and was very pleased with her examination of my issue, and look forward to my next meeting with her. It was also very nice to meet with Doctor Savage, a very nice gentleman, very courteous to the both of us ,was very patient and was again ,pleased with his time and advice, Thank you all very much. My recent visit to the Fortius Clinic for removal of stitches and a post operative assessment was short, on time and to the point. On arrival, as always for previous appointments, the reception staff were briefed and I was immediately sent to the correct location, waiting time in a comfortable environment was minimal before being called in to see my surgeon, Mr Houlihan-Burne. who took the time to answer a few questions. and assure me that should there be any future queries or worries, he & his staff were always available. Overall, a fantastic facility with extremely good staff, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The clinic is easy to find, just off the motorway. I was made a cup of tea when I arrived. The doctor was very pleasant and patient whilst I listed my many and confusing health symptoms. I felt listened to and understood. It was so good to have the time to elaborate in a way that you cannot in a traditional doctor appointment. think we have a plan going forward which will help.
