Throughout my treatment, from the initial consultation to the operation and follow up appointments Mr Sood has provided a “gold star” service. At the initial consultation he explained the procedure thoroughly and I was encouraged to give thought as to whether or not I wished to proceed with a full hip replacement. Following my agreement to proceed I was swiftly kept informed, stage by stage of developments prior to the operation. On admission day Mr Sood visited me once again ensure I was happy to proceed. The day went very smoothly and I felt relaxed and in extremely capable hands. At post-op appointments he has clearly explained any questions I had and encouraged me with the progress I have been making. This was my 2nd appointment as I started HRT 3 months ago. So far everything is going really well and I absolutely love having Dr Adib as my doctor during this stage of my life. I went to see Mr Pakarian as I was having very heavy bleeding from a suspected fibroid which I thought I had had removed via a Myosure treatment three months prior. He talked through my history and did scans then and there. He thought it was a fibroid and sent me for an MRI to confirm. He talked through my options including shrinking the fibroid but recommended a full hysterectomy based on my age, history and my confirmation that I didn’t want any more children. He sent me off to think about my options but I was fully convinced the hysterectomy was the best option for me.

A professional who is very easy to talk to. No airs or graces or arrogance here whatsoever. He examined my knee and was happy to give a realistic recovery time from total knee replacement surgery. At the same time he encouraged me to return to driving, whilst congratulating me on obvious efforts to adhere to the absolutely vital exercises I had stuck to both before and after surgery. I came away positively spurred on by this consultation today. I had been in skilful hands for this surgery. His Team also deserve a mention and praise. Leadership - so important.

Dr Daneshmend is likewise excellent at understanding, and has furnished me with thoughtful, cogent arguments - helpful when facing doctors not so well versed in the peculiarities of my condition. - as to why my treatment is as it is.
