We opted for private care at UCLH because we wanted the birth experience to be as positive as possible. As a medically uncomplicated patient I felt that I may not receive much attention or time on an overstretched NHS ward. I also had some anxieties around birth (as a healthcare professional myself) and felt reassured to be receiving consultant-led care, from a clinician with whom I was able to build a trusting relationship. Shalini provided exceptional care from 32 weeks pregnancy and after delivery. She got to know me and my partner, and understood our priorities and concerns. I had previously found it hard to make decisions around birth. Shalini provided us with evidence, data and her experience - this empowered us to make our decisions. She spent a lot of time with us and brought great care, empathy and kindness to her practice, as well as her excellent clinical skills. When we had questions, fears or anxieties Shalini was able to reassure us, both with her kindness and her experience and expertise. The care she provides is holistic and individualised - she advocated for me in many ways and empowered me to advocate for myself too. We had an elective caesarean at 39 weeks. The surgery was pain free and crucially for me, I felt confident and safe - something that was not natural for me in approaching birth. Shalini was close at hand to care for us before and afterwards. I made an excellent recovery and have healed extremely well. I recommend Dr Shalni in the strongest terms to mothers and families looking for private care at UCLH. Shalini is passionate about obstetrics, her patients and practising medicine. It is a great privilege to be cared for by a clinician at the top of her field, who clearly cares deeply about her patients.

I would not go back to this dental practice again.. I was booked in to have an extraction by a surgeon who I have since found out only comes in on a Tuesday. I was not that impressed with her bedside manner or the Nurse.. I was extremely traumatised and told them I was nervous. The extraction took a really long time and was not an easy removal and was extremely uncomfortable. I was shaking like a leaf and afterwards,, I was basically dismissed and sent away without being offered any form of empathy. I’ve since had terrible problems and I’m in a lot of pain four days later. I rang the dentist this morning. who then informed me that the surgeon only comes in once a week and I needed to go back to my own dentist, which is quite a drive away. I’m not impressed at all and would definitely not return. Also, the Dental practice is obviously undergoing some sort of renovation. The waiting room was a blank white room with no window extremely uninviting, no music not good when you are an extremely nervous patient waiting to have a horrible procedure done .not a good experience for me I’m afraid.

This is my first consultation at Rookery Healthcare and I cannot thank Doctor Balerdi enough. Having been 6 months feeling extremely unwell and getting nowhere with the NHS, I contacted Rookery Health and with just one consultation I feel safe that I will be receiving the service which will hopefully put me back to good health. The office is in a good location plenty of parking and the venue is a modern business centre. The office is comfortable and Dr Balerdi and his secretary were very welcoming and put me at ease. I feel the information that was given to me was constructive and I am confident that this will be the way forward. I have since sent communication to Doctor Bederdi and it was answered immediately no long wait for Drs appointments such as our local surgery. The service is excellent and I can highly recommend Rookery Health Care.

The staff at every stage — reception, nursing, surgical, and aftercare — were friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive. The hospital itself was clean, comfortable, and well-run. I felt safe and well looked after throughout my stay. Any questions I had were answered clearly, and the team always made sure I understood what was happening and what to expect next. Overall, my experience couldn’t have been better. The care, communication, and compassion shown by everyone truly stood out. My experience was very disappointing with the consultant. I was happy for my appointment to be changed just before attending due to the consultant running late. I was very disappointed with the lack of interest and time shown to be by the consultant. I got 10 minutes of his time to be told to cut out caffeine at the cost of £250. I was hoping to receive some understanding of what could be causing recurrent UTI's and reassuring me of any fears of anything sinister i.e bladder cancer. Only to be told this only occurs for around 10/20% of cases. I think what really irked me was he looked at his watch part way through me speaking This I found very disrespectful and rude.

My first appointment was cancelled by the clinic this was after telling me to pay the fee upfront and re booked two weeks later. I arrived on time for my appointment and was told there would be a delay again. After waiting for sometime I asked the staff to find out what the delay was I was then seen by the clinician half an hour later. My experience with the clinician I felt was not worth the fee. I was not examined correctly I was not given any advice as to how to deal with the issue and the letter I received afterwards was not very accurate or informative. So I would not go back again or recommend.

I had relevant tests quickly and efficiently.
