I had an incredibly positive experience at Delamere and I’m very grateful for my time there which has been transformative. The programme is extremely well structured and thoughtfully designed - a really well-rounded mix of therapy, group work, education and peer support. The staff are kind, dedicated and create a safe, supportive environment where real change feels possible. I want to give special thanks to Mark, my therapist, and Gary, my mentor. Their honesty and approach made a huge difference to my recovery. I felt seen, challenged in the right ways, and supported to build real clarity and confidence. I made meaningful progress and left feeling stronger, clearer and had regained hope for the future. The only area I feel could be improved is the level of psychiatric support. During my stay, patients were offered one 15-minute appointment with the psychiatrist, which felt brief especially for those with more complex mental health needs. I would have valued more collaboration and communication around medication decisions. Strengthening this aspect of care would make an already excellent programme even better. Overall, I’m extremely thankful for my time at Delamere and would definitely recommend the centre to others seeking recovery support.

After seriously injuring both ankles and a long recovery, it was a complete game changer when I started treatment with my physio Steph. She was friendly and professional and quickly put me at my ease. Steph was both flexible and methodical in her approach, measuring my progress, returning to exercises regularly, which I found helpful in maintaining my focus and my momentum. Steph was responsive and adjusted exercises where necessary but generally this was not needed as she pitched the pace and level of activity to be suitably challenging. Steph was goal orientated, encouraging and solution focused. It felt like I had a clear pathway to recovery and that Steph was really committed to my well-being and focused on helping me get the best outcomes. The centre have a range of treatments available including massage, podiatry and Pilates classes so that I could benefit from a holistic approach to my injuries. Steph has explained things well to me as we have gone along so that I have understood the rationale which I have really appreciated. Her expertise and care have been a huge positive during a difficult time. Thank you to Steph and all the team, I would highly recommend The Medical.

I honestly can’t recommend the fertility suite enough. Rebecca has been an absolute god send. I have been battling with pcos for years and the nhs refusing to help as my partner has a child from a previous relationship. I’ve been trying to help heal my body with information online but there are so many different opinions and advice and it became very overwhelming. From the start Rebecca has been friendly, empathetic and a great listener. I come out of my appointments feeling so relaxed and feel like I’ve just had a therapy session. She really understands what I’m going through. As well as Rebecca being amazing with the emotional side, she has helped me reduce my cycles from 77 and 79 days to 30/32 day cycles and now I am showing signs of ovulation, which I had only experienced once before. I know with her support the pregnancy will follow soon! She is great and always at the end of the phone/email for guidance and advice on what supplements to take and what to work on! Before I met Glenda I was at a very low point in my life. I was experiencing an incredible amount of stress and anxiety following a breakdown in my relationship. I found it very hard to function at a level to which I was used to. I have always been high energy and needed to be for my work. Glenda instantly put me at ease, she was always very patient and explained in great detail why I was feeling why I was. Glenda is highly professional and never once did I feel patronised or judged. She spoke to me with respect and encouraged me to learn more about my situation through reading, podcasts, audiobooks etc which really helped me along the way. Some days I would arrive at our therapy session without knowing what I was going to discuss but Glenda creates a safe environment which allows you to open up and share your thoughts and feelings. Glenda is an incredible psychodynamic therapist and has been highly influential in my life and I will be forever grateful for her knowledge, her patience and her kindness. Thank you for everything.

I visited the hospital to see an orthopaedic surgeon after having a fall at work and damaging my knee. I have had issue with it since the accident I suffered at work.I was advised to lodge a claim with my employers insurance. This I did because of the problems I am having with my knee. I was sent to see this gentleman so he could assess the damage to my knee. I was treated as if I was only there because I was lodging a claim and to have recompense for the damage I suffered and still am. He seemed very abrupt and I felt as though I was cross examined over the form I had filled in regarding my injury. I left the room feeling like I had done something extremely bad and wrong. I have never had to go through this scenario and very much hope not to have to go through another. I am a patient who has an injury that I am advised my a consultant needs an operation yet I was treated though I was feigning injury. I do not feel valued having attend at the one hospital.

When quarterly injections no longer worked for my condition, I was told surgery was my only option. A daunting prospect, particularly as I had never had major surgery before. I am so fortunate that I was referred to Mr Barazi. From the first meeting he asked detailed questions about my condition and listened to me. His calm, confident and personable manner instilled trust immediately. He took the time to explain the procedure, showing me examples and talking me through my MRI and CT scans, as well as preparing me for how I might feel post-surgery. My many questions were answered with infinite patience and continue to be as I recover. My life is returning to normal again, something I found hard to imagine a few weeks ago. Mr Barazi is an amazing surgeon, and a kind and caring human being. I cannot thank or recommend him highly enough.

I have recently had cosmetic surgery at Sancta Maria and i genuinely would not want to go anywhere else…. I may be biased as I work at the hospital but for me regardless of who I was the staff were very professional and gave outstanding care. I always watch how every staff members provide this incredible service to other members of the public but honestly they showed me so much care and compassion throughout my surgery. The staff in all departments - especially recovery and ward as that’s where I spent my time mostly. Also Ashley in outpatients for providing me with an appointment for dressing clinic to put my mind at ease when I accidentally got my dressings wet. Honestly I would not want to have had my surgery anywhere else. Thank you all so much. I am very proud to work within such an incredible team.

I ruptured my Achilles tendon playing squash last September. My consultant surgeon strongly recommended Physio Remedies, who have an excellent reputation for helping athletes recover and return to sport in the best possible condition. I’m being treated by Naomi Murray, who closely follows the latest international research on Achilles injuries, which is very reassuring. The rehab plan has always been clear, progress has been excellent, and follow-up is very responsive whenever I have questions. Her patients’ recovery and long-term outcomes are clearly a genuine priority for her. The facilities at the Lansdowne Club are also outstanding and make a real difference to the quality of the rehabilitation. I would definitely recommend Physio Remedies.

My son attended for squint surgery on both eyes. Mr Yeo and his team were amazing and as a family we can not thank him enough. They made my 12 year old son feel at ease and explained everything they were going to do in a clear and professinal manner. Even after the surgery a member of Mr Yeo's team came to explain the next steps in my son's post-operative care. Thank you for taking such good care of our son and for all you have done. It is very much appreciated and I know this surgery will have a massive impact on the social aspect of his future as before this surgery his squint had started to impact on the things he enjoyed such as sports. He now can't wait to get back on the football pictch once he has recovered :)

10/10 experience. We had our 10 year old son assessed for ADHD. From the moment i called to enquire about the process and what are the steps involved to the actually assessment, everyone has been amazing. Steven in the front office walked me through the entire process, what to expect, costings etc. he was polite, kind and very professional. Dr Hollie Hearfield who did the assessment was lovely. She was so good with our son, she explained everything to us as to what the next steps are. I cannot recommend you enough to others who might be thinking of going private. Its an overwhelming decision to make and it has been nothing but informative and easy with Berkley's. Keep up the amazing service that your staff deliver x

I was scheduled day surgery on a Sunday and was told to report at Margate Hospital, St Peter’s Rd entrance. Being a Sunday, there was no one at Reception and although a sign said to go to another Reception, it was the wrong one. We asked someone who worked at the hospital and they did not know. Finally we found someone who did know and she directed us to the correct location. The appointment was for 12:30 (no food or drink prior) and the surgery didn’t actually take place until after 3pm. My opinion: 1. Not impressed with the directions and the scheduling; and 2. The surgeon and nurses were all absolutely wonderful, very efficient and professional, and made me feel confident that I was in good hands.

Dr. panagiotis Gikas was very professional and honest Although the appointment wasn't satisfactory for me because the doctor couldn't give me a second opinion on my back and neck pain since his specialty is lower extremities, he sent me for updated MRI exams so he could give me a responsible and accurate second opinion on my knee and ankle. I emailed the doctor and am waiting for him to reply with his diagnosis from the previous appointment so I can provide my employer with the information they need to continue helping me with the MRI costs and get positive results that will allow me to go to work without any health risks.
