I was referred to Prof Vasdev via a friend of a friend who is: a prostate cancer patient, a practicing emergency Doctor and an ex-military doctor. When I first spoke with “###”, he talked me through his exhaustive research into who, is who, in the world of treatment of prostate cancer and the many specialists in a myriad of fields that he had interrogated. For him, there was only one option for the individual in which he was willing to place his trust and his future care, that man was “Prof Nik”, (a term of endearment I am sure I would never be so bold as to use!) On meeting Prof Vasdev, I was struck by how quickly he thinks, acts and assimilates information. On further conversations throughout my treatment, I have been amazed at how much he does, both locally and internationally across his surgical work, his research, his teaching and his sharing of best practice and in my case Neurosafe Robot Assisted Laparoscopic prostatectomy (RALP). The Neurosafe aspect is the gamechanger, this allows the team to assess at a cellular level the safe margins for the removal of diseased tissues live in surgery with samples taken and assessed in real time…AMAZING! I am now 11 weeks post-surgery and am recovering very well and have had my first post operative PSA test returning undetectable levels of PSA. Having been able to observe Prof Vasdev in his native environment at the NE Hertfordshire hospital in Stevenage he struck me as s a super-bright inspiring leader, held in great esteem by his colleagues and patients alike, capable of communicating the mission and the goal to his peers and his staff who offer him great respect in return and understand how and why to get to the best treatment and patient outcomes Besides his operative track record, his academic and research and teaching record leave no doubt to his expertise, energy and passion to improve medical science across many disciplines which culminate in him being an outstanding surgeon and an avid sharer of new procedures and techniques to give the best patient outcomes and I count myself as a very grateful individual amongst that number.

I had micro-TESE surgery with Mr Alnajjar and the entire experience was exceptional. He successfully retrieved sperm for us, which has now given us the chance to move forward with IVF next year. What stood out most was how personal and reassuring his approach was. We had met him a few times before the procedure and he always made both me and my wife feel calm, confident, and fully informed. The follow-up care has been outstanding — nothing felt rushed, and every question was answered clearly. His PA and the communication throughout have also been first-class. My visit to Dr Paul Farrant was just as I'd hoped. I'd selected him to carry out a skin check, based on his high rating in the Brighton area from reviews I'd checked, as well as his qualifications. This was my first skin assessment ever and, at 74, was really later than it might have been! Happily nothing serious was found, but I was advised on a skin maintenance programme which i will adopt going forward. I want to age healthily, and this approach will help me do so. I will return every 2 years from now on for a regular check with Dr Farrant. Highly recommended. (He has very nice skin, by the way, which is encouraging :) :) )

We chose Montrose as they appeared on a lot of ‘Right to Choose’ websites and were rated by the CQC and as soon as I called Mollie and the team’s support has been superb. The charges and plans were shared upfront and were explained well. We paid to have a private Adult ADHD assessment and the speed of the booking / assessment/report/ treatment plans and meetings were quick. Communication was excellent and most of all the support was top notch and expert. We have felt very supported and very secure that we are getting the best life changing support. I had a very large inguinal hernia and after a long wait I had my operation. From my original consultation with Mr. McArthur, his pleasant and reassuring manner gave me great faith in him, and his skill was outstanding. My follow up appointment was so reassuring and he confirmed that everything had gone great. As I am a very nervous type of person, I would venture to say that Mr. McArthur is truly a "hernia angel", such was the good work he did for me. Mr. McArthur and his anesthetist and medical and admin team worked great together. I am truly grateful.

Was a little confused and concerned with all the last minute changes for surgery, then to be told and left waiting in a room for surgery to then say ur appointment was not the appointment time when u came in on our computer so they did change my appointment time! Other than that surgeon was fantastic brilliant and friendly After Care - as given a bag of meds and a latter and cards for the doctor with no sore dressings for wound area.

Dr Ramakrishnan listened and worked quickly to understand the cause of the pain I was experiencing. He carried out diagnostic tests at pace and was really helpful in identifying the likely cause. He used his expertise, and the knowledge of supporting experts, to help confirm the diagnosis and the need for a review by a different medical field.

First visit to a private hospital. Very clean and professional with some great facilities for various treatments. Only minor downside being the very small car park, which is often full of very large expensive vehicles taking up lots of space, or even multiple spaces. There is free on-street parking nearby (2 hour limit).
