My teen daughter has been under the care of Dr Zakynthinaki for the last 3 months for autistic burnout alongside low mood and anxiety. Dr Zakynthinaki has been wonderful in so many ways - she's empathetic with my daughter and with me, she listens and she's been incredibly responsive to our questions. She explains things so well and in a lot of detail, which I really appreciate. It's so refreshing to come across a specialist who's willing to work with a patient so diligently and with so much care - who can offer not only the clinical experience, but is also very patient-focussed. I feel we are both seen and heard by her. If you are looking for support for your child / adolescent, particularly if they are neurodiverse, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr Zakynthinaki!

Grace is the most professional, knowledgeable, caring, friendliest dentist we know. She always makes us feel comfortable and truly confident in everything she says and does, she NEVER over treats us, she keeps us so well looked after. The receptionists and all Grace’s team are all extremely friendly, so lovely, and are always very supportive and polite. Myself and all my family members have ALWAYS been made to feel welcome and comfortable throughout our experiences in the practice and I would highly rate this dental practice 10/10 for excellent quality and care.

My experience at the hospital was excellent from start to finish. The room was extremely comfortable and well appointed, which certainly helped with rest and recovery, but what truly made the experience exceptional was the nursing team. The nurses were absolutely superb in every way — kind, attentive, professional, and endlessly patient. Nothing was ever too much trouble, no matter the time of day or how small the request. I was made to feel safe, cared for, and genuinely supported throughout my stay. I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding care I received and would not hesitate to recommend this hospital to others.

Very good initial consultation and diagnosis with clear explanations of my back and hip issues and prognosis. James suggested injection therapy to block the nerve and reduce inflammation. I went forward with the procedure with great help from James’ secretary and office who organized all the arrangements and made it easy. The procedure went well and I am very happy with the results, and my back and leg pain has been cured with no issues 6 weeks afterwards. Unfortunately, the registration form I had completed online for the consultation seemed to have gone missing. The form that was presented had an address from over 30 years ago!! Not a good start, but thereafter things went smoothly. However, when an invoice recently arrived for a previous stress test and blood test, no account had been taken of the fact that I paid for the stress test on the day I took the test. Overall, there have been some administrative failings.

From the nurse who took me to theatre taking an interest in my job (and recommending a book - Lem Sissay) To the catering lady (who made sure i was fedcand watered) ,and the ward nurse who went through next steps and made sure I was ok you go home with my wife and daughter. This was my first experience of the Hillsborough Private Clinic and the staff were very professional, knowledgeable and welcoming. While this is an older style building is was well set out and immaculately clean and while I appreciate that space is at a premium a groundlevel toilet facility would be an asset as while I have no mobility issues I can see where climbing stairs to the bathroom could be an issue for some.

There was a delay in my appointments... taking 3 months from being referred and filling out relevant paperwork. After initial diagnostic appointment it took 4 months to actually get my diagnosis. Apparently there was a back log. But overall much quicker than NHS and very happy with the experience.
