Excellent dialogue with Ms Scott. A very good and clear outcome to our meeting.
I have been beyond impressed with Dr Chloe Scott from my first consultation for a total knee replacement until my last appointment post-op. Dr Scott explained all that the surgery entailed, potential side effects and risks in a clear, concise and professional manner. My surgery was a success due to her expertise and the team at Spire. There are not enough words of praise and appreciation I can say as I am beyond satisfied with the end result and my progress 5 weeks post-op!
As I reach the first anniversary of acquiring my new knee I appreciate Ms Scott's professionalism throughout including the pre and post op meetings, also her care pre and post op during the time in hospital. She explained clearly everything that was going to happen and was quick to respond to any queries I had during my recovery at home. Should I need a new procedure I would be happy to avail myself of her services again.
Fantastic. Very informative, fantastic listener and I felt right from the off that I was in capable hands. I am so happy with the whole experience and can’t wait to get back on my feet.
When I saw her initially at Spire Shawfair, her explanation of what had happened to my knee after she arranged an x- ray and scan told me the condition was more than" just arthritis"
Everything was made very clear and communicated in a straightforward manner.
I went to Dr. Scott due to the gradually worsening pain and reduced mobility in my left knee. After a thorough examination, including X-rays and scans, Dr. Scott discussed my options with me. She took the time to explain the likely outcomes, how each procedure would be carried out, the associated risk factors and recovery times. At no point did I feel pressured or limited to a single option. Ultimately, I decided to undergo a partial knee replacement procedure, which was carried out by Dr Scott at the Murrayfield Hospital. Upon my admission to the hospital, Dr. Scott visited me to explain the entire surgical process, including what would happen before, during, and after the surgery. She also briefed me on my immediate aftercare and advised me on the best ways to manage any discomfort while ensuring a speedy recovery. Later in the evening, after the surgery, Dr. Scott visited me again and showed me pictures of my new knee, reassuring me that the procedure was successful. She also explained the post-operative tests that would be carried out and outlined my physiotherapy schedule for recovery. Throughout my treatment, Dr. Scott's expertise and guidance gave me confidence and reassurance. Dr. Scott is a highly skilled and personable surgeon. Thanks to her expertise, I am pain-free and grateful for my choice.
During initial consultation the problem, procedures, options and risks were explained well and all questions were answered clearly in appropriate and understandable terms. She is clearly very highly skilled and the procedure was carried out very professionally. Her manner and interaction were excellent throughout. She clearly really cares about her patients and doing her best for them.
