The assessment visit was fine in that I walked away with a clear diagnosis and a plan, but the experience was a little hectic due to cleaners coming in to prepare for the next appointment while we were still there, and the dr needing to take urgent calls as she was on duty at the time. The team I speak with are all very friendly but there seems to be a disconnect between the information exchanged on emails and whatsapp. I feel this may have led to a delay in starting treatment. Again, it's fine because I got it in the end, but there may be some part of the process/line of communication that needs review/improving. My initial virtual visit was at risk of being cancelled due to where I was having the call from. Thankfully, the doctor was able to accommodate another slot on the same day. I noticed that there is now a clear statement on the booking confirmation re: need to be in a private space for virtual calls, which is good.

He is a consultant with a full understanding of required treatment, also with an in-depth knowledge of medical advances in his field and beyond. You never feel rushed with Richard. He always takes his time to fully explain recent developments with treatment or diagnosis. Richard always looks to fully understand any concerns you have, always providing a considered and thorough response. I cannot recommend Richard highly enough.

The London Clinic offers such a comfortable and clean environment, clinical in all the right ways, but still homely and warm. It feels far less “hospital-like” than most medical settings, which really helped me relax. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and genuinely approachable from the moment I walked in. Dr Spyrou carried out a complex removal of a blockage in the artery and successfully inserted 2 stents. During the procedure I was kept informed of the progress and did not feel any discomfort. After the procedure Dr Spyrou visited me several times in the recovery ward and contacted also me the following day to check on my status. Very efficient and professional treatment.

I visited this clinic as I had terrible sciatica down my right leg and lower back pain. The osteopath was brilliant. Very helpful, knowledgeable and I have had 3 treatments so far and seen a huge improvement in my symptoms. I am back at work and able to enjoy life more. Thank you Mark for your treatments. I made it very clear to the members of staff when I woke up from my procedure that I felt incredibly dizzy and sick. However 30 minutes after I was brought back to the unit I was discharged. Even my husband told the nurses that I was still dizzy and felt nausea. We got home and I slept for three hours.
