Mr Devaraj Srinivasamurthy

Brilliant, following varicose vein surgery (radio frequency ablation), very little bruising and now, 2 months on, very little scarring which is reducing every week. Mr Srinivasmurthy's method of stitches for the small cuts to remove the 'branch' veins (8 in total) were very small, his adhesive compression bandage and an elasticated stocking remained in place for 7 days as I was instructed. I also walked every hour of every waking day for that first 7 days for 10 minutes at the beginning, increasing to 30 minutes as the week progressed (a total of 40 miles!) - I felt great! When the dressings came off, my skins was quite dry so I started using my usual moisturiser over the entire leg and used Arnica Salve (from Neale's Yard, about £20 a pot. The pot look small but you only use a small amount, I feel that also helped reduce the bruising and helped me heal quicker. Mr Srinivasamurthy is exceedingly thorough, he took a detailed case history at the initial consultation and explained exactly what the procedure involved. He went through the procedure again, directly with me prior to the procedure and spoke to me like a human being during the surgery, administering additional local anaesthetic as and when required. I am truly thankful for his service and would recommend him highly.

From the very first appointment, he was incredibly thorough, organising additional blood tests and scans to ensure we fully understood the situation before making any decisions. Mr Karoshi explains medical information very clearly and breaks everything down in a way that is easy to understand. He always took the time to listen, never rushed me, and patiently answered every one of my (many) questions. When it came to managing my cyst, Mr Karoshi outlined all possible options and explained the risks and benefits. He ensured I understood the different approaches and made me feel fully involved in my care. After some time, I decided to proceed with surgery, a decision I felt completely confident about because of his guidance and knowing I would be under his care. The surgery went smoothly, and Mr Karoshi took the time to check in with me immediately afterwards, again the next morning, and arranged a follow up appointment two weeks later. I am extremely grateful for the care I have received and feel very fortunate to have found Mr Karoshi. I couldn't recommend him more highly!

During my stay at Blackheath Hospital I was given exemplary care by every member of staff and my recovery has been steady despite my attempting to return to work perhaps rather earlier than was entirely wise. We checked in early, due to traffic, 20 minutes early at 13.10 for an appointment at 13.30. At 14.05 I returned to the reception desk to ask why a large number of customers had arrived after us and been seen before and the Team Lead stated that she would check for me. She came back 3-4 minutes later to notify us that the reception staff had not booked us as arrived. We were told that they were sorry and that we would be moved to the front of the line. We did not have a very good experience with you.

Was a little confused and concerned with all the last minute changes for surgery, then to be told and left waiting in a room for surgery to then say ur appointment was not the appointment time when u came in on our computer so they did change my appointment time! Other than that surgeon was fantastic brilliant and friendly After Care - as given a bag of meds and a latter and cards for the doctor with no sore dressings for wound area.

The whole experience of phoning first thing in the morning to make an appointment to have my earwax removel - through to later in morning when it was carried out felt like a “model” experience in care. My audiologist was patient, explained the process and worked efficiently to remove all the wax bringing much needed relief. She also gave me advice on oiling my ear to help the wax dispersal in future.

Ground floor reception of the Shard had no record of my appointment and were reluctant to let me in the elevator. 6th floor has 3 receptions which is confusing. First one sent me to second one (Tower?) which also had no record for my appointment. They also said they have 3 different Andrew Davies in their lists so they struggled to decide what to do with me. Eventually I was sent to the right place.
