Delamere has been a godsend to me. From the first moment I contact them to the final day of my stay, they were warm, professional and caring. Each and every member of staff, from the cleaning teams to the senior leaders has the best interests of guests at heart. Delamere is a caring and friendly community which focuses on the needs of the individual, but in such a way that the programme does not feel over-medicalised. The care and attention given from the nursing team is second to none and nothing is too much trouble. They explain everything to you in a way you can understand and always have time for questions or queries. The guest liaison team are approachable and helpful as well as supportive and kind. The quality of the group session is excellent and well-thought through to support you on you recovery journey. This is exemplified by the outstanding quality of therapy and mentoring I received throughout my time at Delemere. The chefs are excellent and proved a nutritious and balanced diet which is excellent quality. The team as re also friendly and welcoming. What was special about Delemere is the personal touch. Every member of staff knew your name and was happy to chat about any issues you might have at any time of day. I cannot thank the staff enough for the opportunity they have given me to get my life back on track. I wholeheartedly recommend Delemere for anyone needing their expertise and support.

I was so fortunate to have had Dr Taylor’s care for my open abdominal surgery. Dr Taylor is not only highly skilled surgeon, but also a truly kind dedicated, knowledgeable consultant. He was so patient with me, always took as much time as I needed to listen to me and talk to me at every step of my procedure. I was very relaxed before the surgery as I knew I was in safe hands . He was there when I woke up from the surgery to inform me all went well and he visited to check on me almost every day during my stay at the hospital. My recovery has been on track so far without any complications. Dr Taylor is very organised and I was able to message him directly and always received quick responses from him which is very reassuring. Even he has updated about my surgery and the outcome of it to my GP directly on the same day. I was so impressed with that. I cannot recommend Dr Taylor highly enough. On visiting consultant Subhajit Ghosh a prescription was given to the nurse to be ordered for my next appointment as it was something that was not kept in stock at OSD. I needed to check my diary to see if I could make this next appointment at OSD Healthcare in Hemel Hempstead to have the prescription or, see the consultant at Spire Hospital on another day. On checking my diary I found I could make it and I phoned and arranged an appointment with Subhajit Ghosh. Unfortunately, the prescription had not been ordered so when I turned up for my next appointment I was unable to have my treatment and I would have to see him again another time. I appreciate mix ups happen but thought OSD Healthcare should check their procedures in instances such as this, so that prescriptions are ordered once patients have confirmed they can make future appointments.

The follow up appointments were arranged promptly and in the first case was brought forward to satisfy a concern of mine post operation, which turned out to be nothing to worry about

My eye sight was on the verge of being under the limit for legal driving so the only way to travel would have been Taxi, Bus,Trains and willing friends and neighbours to give lifts as needed. My wife and I live in higher Harlech which is rather hilly, I am on the disabled register my wife is 91 years old still driving but was putting more and more pressure on her! After I had the required surgery by Mrs Mathews, the following day was a revelation brightness and visibility that I had not seen in years.

Dr Corden listened careful to my questions and gave clear answers. He had checked the tests I had listed on my initial form and after hearing my history told me his concerns and suggested how we should proceed. He suggested I see him next on the NHS or if I wanted to speed up the process, continue with private treatment. As there is no great urgency I decided on the former option. The consultation was relaxed and Dr Cordon very approachable.

I am very happy with my total knee replacement. I have no pain and my leg is straight and I am walking perfectly. My leg had a bend before the operation and my walk had a rocking motion which is now gone. The surgeon was excellent and having the aid of the robot for total precision was an amazing advance in this kind of operation. Spire Clare Park is an excellent hospital and I felt very safe and well looked after during my stay.

I'm currently under Mr Fakouri's care due to a (quite severe) herniated L5-S1 which has been causing me trouble all year. He was quickly able to book me in for a caudal epidural injection which is alleviating a great portion of the pain (able to bend down for the first time in 8 months). Mr Fakouri is a good listener, a very calm and professional presence. Would recommend :)
