I booked an appointment with Optifema end of September after seeing an advert for the non invasive endosure test ran by Dr Hunter and Kerry. After 8 years of being told it couldn’t possibly be endometriosis but yet experiencing worsening symptoms affecting my daily life, I was crying out for answers. Within 24 hours of my initial assessment I had a positive endosure test. Within 1 month of this I had a laparoscopy with excision surgery which confirmed aggressive endometriosis. Both Dr Hunter and Kerry were extremely patient, kind and knowledgeable throughout the whole process!

I booked to get an endo sure test and Kerry the nurse was absolutely amazing, she was so kind to me and very professional! She kept ensuring throughout the test that I was comfortable and explained throughout what she was doing. Would highly recommend to anyone

Absolutely incredible staff who put me right at ease. The endosure test was quick and easy and was practically relaxing. I was so comfortable throughout I could have fallen asleep. I was given great advice afterwards and would recommend Optifema to everyone.

I seen Dr Hunter for my severe adenomyosis diagnosis as per MRI result. He listened to me, my symptoms and how my quality of life has been affected with this condition and was very understanding. He prescribed a drug Ryeqo which I have been taking for 3months now. This drug is relatively new but has honestly improved my quality of life immensely in terms of my gynae symptoms. Dr Hunter reviewed me at 3months and again listened attentively to me and provided with more evidence based information to allow me to make informed decisions about my care going forward.

We had a very good and professional visit. The test was carried out by Kerry, who was extremely sympathetic and understanding. I would definitely recommend this clinic for the endosure test.

I could not fault my appointment experience.

My 13 year old daughter from an early age had recurring UTIs, abdominal and unexplained hip and leg pain, started periods early, and these become very heavy very quickly. With a family history of both endometriosis and adenomyosis, as the Endosure procedure is non invasive and statistically valid, I decided to bring her to this. The parking is a little difficult but that is due to its location. We were welcomed warmly and Kerry made her feel at ease throughout the whole procedure, protecting her dignity and respecting her autonomy at 13, even though I was present in the room. She explained the results and we got our report promptly. This is very important to us so we can liase with the school and GP to help manage pain and fatigue for a lifetime condition. Thank you DJ Kerry....the Harry Styles playlist certainly helped to put her at ease!

My experience with Dr Hunter has been very positive. I previously had three rounds of IVF and all ended in early miscarriage unfortunately. My first meeting with Dr Hunter gave me hope as he tried medication to regulate my cycles more. Thankfully it worked and with a few more tweaks fell pregnant! Cannot thank Dr Hunter and Kerry enough!!

After experiencing pregnancy loss, those first few weeks were incredibly anxious, but he was an unwavering source of reassurance, seeing us regularly for scans, listening patiently to every concern, and always treating us with kindness, honesty, and compassion. He also has a wonderful sense of humour and knew exactly how to help put us at ease when we needed it most. Kerry and Dr Hunter make an incredible team, and we can’t thank them enough. We feel so lucky to have had them by our side during this journey.

I was very nervous as I have been struggling with my menstrual cycle for 17 years. Kerry was fantastic. She made me feel heard and validated. To book this appointment was very straightforward and Kerry was in contact before my appointment date to answer any questions I had. I would highly recommend. Thanks so much.
