My husband and I recently attended Optifema Clinic for appointments with Dr Hunter and Kerry, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care we received. From the very beginning, the booking process was so easy and personal. Kerry was always quick to respond, answered every question I had, and arranged our appointments with such kindness and a calm, reassuring manner. She immediately put us at ease. Dr Hunter is simply the most wonderful doctor. From our first consultation, it was clear how knowledgeable and experienced he is, but what stood out most was how genuinely he cares about his patients. We always felt listened to, respected, and supported. Thanks to Dr Hunter’s expertise and care, we are now expecting our miracle baby, and we truly believe we wouldn’t be here without him. After experiencing pregnancy loss, those first few weeks were incredibly anxious, but he was an unwavering source of reassurance, seeing us regularly for scans, listening patiently to every concern, and always treating us with kindness, honesty, and compassion. He also has a wonderful sense of humour and knew exactly how to help put us at ease when we needed it most. Kerry and Dr Hunter make an incredible team, and we can’t thank them enough. We feel so lucky to have had them by our side during this journey.

I was very nervous as I have been struggling with my menstrual cycle for 17 years. Kerry was fantastic. She made me feel heard and validated. I recently seen Dr Hunter in Optifema, from booking the appt, having the consultation and finally having a plan to treat the adenomyosis and potential endometriosis is nothing short of life changing. Dr Hunter was compassionate, caring and highly knowledgeable and finally, I did not need to just put up with the chronic pain and the rest of the symptoms, there was a reason for it all and Dr Hunter understood that and wanted to help. Kerry, was unbelievably helpful in every communication i had with her, going above and beyond to support and advise the various steps of treatment. I am so very very grateful for the help I have received at Optifema. I am now starting ti live my life again.

Dr O’Kane was amazing. I felt very nervous about going to see someone, but she really helped to put me at ease. She created a very safe environment for me to share my story and I never felt rushed. I would recommend anyone to go and see her.

I had an endosure carried out a few weeks ago. The service I received was second to none, Kerry made the whole experience very relaxing,she explained everything, nothing was too much trouble from booking the appointment to end. I attended an appointment with Mr Hunter alongside my teenage daughter, who had been experiencing a range of symptoms after her concerns had largely been dismissed by NHS gynaecology due to a "normal" pelvic MRI. From our very first appointment, we found Mr Hunter to be extremely approachable. He was excellent with my daughter, who was only 16 at the time. Faced with the significant decision of whether to proceed with investigative surgery at 18,, we chose instead to have the EndoSure test carried out at the Optifema Clinic. The test indicated a high likelihood of endometriosis being present. The procedure itself was completely painless, and we received the results immediately afterwards. Kerry, who carried out the test, was amazing. She put my daughter completely at ease and explained the results in such a compassionate and reassuring manner. The results of the test gave us the confidence we needed to know that a laparoscopy was the right next step. My daughter remains under Mr Hunter's care, and after a recent appointment she came out saying how seen and heard she felt by both Mr Hunter and Kerry. My daughter has a way to go,, but we feel incredibly fortunate that she is being cared for by the team at Optifema. Thank you, Mr Hunter and Kerry, for your professionalism, kindness, and support.
