I recently visited Dr Beattie after receiving a diagnosis of POI last year. Dr Beattie immediately put me at ease and gave me confidence that he could provide the best care and guidance to help me navigate my POI diagnosis. His level of kindness, compassion, and genuine understanding is outstanding. I left the appointment feeling supported, informed, and much more positive about managing my condition going forward.

Dr Hunter is kind & compassionate. He is honest, but never blunt or offensive in his delivery, which I really appreciated after many bad experiences with other doctors. I am glad my GP suggested Dr Hunter to me as I was starting to lose hope in finding a doctor who would listen & help. Both Dr Hunter & his assistant Kerry are wonderful human beings & I cannot thank them enough for their help & support.

I took my daughter to see Dr David Hunter at both Kingsbridge Medical Centre and at the Malone Medical Chambers in Belfast to discuss how to diagnose and manage Endometriosis. Both he and his assistant Kerry were very welcoming and sympathetic. She had her initial consultation, followed by an Endo test. We then went back for a review appointment to discuss the best way forward. Everything was explained simply and delivered with great sensitivity. Highly recommend. Sandra and Emily.

Fantastic as always. Seen Dr Hunter now for the past 4 years. The way he advocates not just for me as his patient but also women’s health is admirable and definitely needed in society today. Extremely grateful to have such a great Dr looking out for me and my disease.

Dr Hunter has been an amazing help on our fertility journey. He is the first person who believed PCOS was a real issue and his knowledge and expertise helped manage this whilst helping with fertility and getting pregnant.

I am on my IVF journey at a clinic abroad and I have met some difficult people along with way. However as soon as I met Dr Hunter I knew he was different! He immediately put me at ease, explained everything in a Way I understood and did so with empathy and a bit of our Northern Irish humour! He went out of his way to be helpful. He made the procedure I had as comfortable as he could - let’s face it none of these are particularly enjoyable! I would recommend Dr Hunter and Kerry in a heartbeat.

I have been attending Optifema for the past four months and honestly could not recommend them more highly. From the very beginning, I have felt completely safe, listened to and genuinely cared for. Dr Hunter and Dr O’Kane are exceptional consultants. They are knowledgeable, calm and reassuring, and they take the time to explain everything clearly without ever making you feel rushed. Nurse Kerry has been absolutely wonderful. She is incredibly kind and compassionate and truly understands how emotional this journey can be. Her warmth and sensitivity have made such a difference to me throughout treatment. Even the reception team are lovely, always welcoming, organised and helpful. When you are attending frequently, that consistency and kindness really matters. Fertility treatment can be overwhelming, but Optifema have created an environment where you feel supported at every stage. I am so grateful to the whole team.
