Dr. Charlie Beattie

Dr. Charlie Beattie is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with Northern Trust, specialising in menopausal care. He completed his speciality training throughout Northern Ireland, including advanced modules in labour ward practice and urogynaecology. In his consultant role, Dr. Beattie has been instrumental in developing a multidisciplinary Menopause service for the women of Northern Trust, ensuring timely and supportive treatment. He is also committed to educating and supporting other healthcare providers, having served as a Clinical Advisor to the NI Executive as part of the UK Menopause Taskforce, and actively works to improve access to menopause care in Northern Ireland.

Dr. Beattie is dedicated to providing honest, accurate information, enabling patients to explore their individual concerns and collaboratively formulate tailored care plans. He believes that every woman’s experience of menopause is unique, and that women should be empowered to make informed decisions about their care, with full support for both their physical and psychological well-being.
