Dr Gordon is a very knowledgable msn that has your best interests at heart and that his help with me will certainly resolve many of my issues moving forward
Dr Gordon was incredibly thorough and explained everything with care, kindness, sensitivity and compassion. He was so very generous with his time, and so patient. In fact we could not believe how much time he had given us. This was such an important meeting for us and we were very nervous but we need not have been, we were made to feel so comfortable and at ease, it felt a completely safe space and we felt heard. We came away with an explanation for the episodes that had occurred and a diagnosis that made absolute sense, indeed we had a lightbulb moment regarding one of the observations and came away with a deep understanding of the situation. We cannot thank you enough as we felt so relieved afterwards and so much more in control of the situation. We also have a plan for any future episodes which is so reassuring, will have a letter for our NHS GP and we will have an Autism assessment within the next few months. Thank you.
Assessment was friendly and informal. Dr Gordon made things as comfortable as possible
I requested a pre-consultation to gauge if Dr Gordon and I would be a good fit for the support I am looking for. It a 20 minute video call offered free of charge which I was grateful for. I found the call a little frustrating. There seemed to be some miscommunication/misunderstandings but this takes time to form and I think can be harder over video call versus in person. I have some hesistation and caution around having a face to face appointment but I am hopeful that with a longer amount time and when I shared more of my needs and history that we can work in a collaborative way.
Only useful as a diagnostic service. No treatments for ADHD/anxiety. No alternative to talk therapy offered. Talk therapy IS NOT FOR EVERYONE
Dr Gordon listened to me. Explained things I didn’t understand .
Found the explanation at the end slightly confusing but im sure ill make more sense of it when I read the letter
