I feel Dr Choudary explained what would happen clearly enough , but as is often the way with consultant surgeons, they are often lacking in empathy towards the patient. I felt that as a paediatric consultant she might have been a little more personable towards my young daughter to put her more at ease. Drs and consultants can often become desensitised to patients after a period off time, and this was the impression we were given too. Smiling more, engaging more with the child on a level that the child can understand and appreciate is what is required. Her interaction was very professional but rather aloof and cold. When children have to have a camera down their nose for the first time, when it gets towards the point of being rather unpleasant, there was very little empathy or change of tact to help get my child through the experience, to reassure them, and take some of their fear away. Our own GP has a wonderful, playful way with my children to engage with them to get their cooperation and explains things very well to them, whilst respecting and listening attentively to their questions or concerns and making sure to address these , to put them at ease in the appointment. A smile, and being more animated with kids goes a long way to wards getting them on board.

Since the moment I entered the clinic I was very well taken care of. The friendliness of the staff made all potential stress go away in seconds. The procedure itself was almost pain free and if any pain was felt that was similar to when one has their blood test done. My treatment was both radiofrequency ablation as well as foam sclerotherapy on both legs. It was done literally in a flash while having a friendly relaxing chat with doctor and nurses. I was shocked when I was informed the treatment was already completed. I have been instructed about the aftercare as a reminder as I had received many emails before the treatment explaining all stages including recovery. Then I simply got out of the clinic and had a walk around the city with my husband who was also amazed how quickly it all went. Their aftercare is spot on too and you can get in touch any time you might feel concerned. It is now my fourth day after the treatment and I feel great and I am so happy that all nasty vericose veins I had are gone. I would and will recommend the clinic and the treatment to anyone struggling with vericose veins issues. Milena

His level of knowledge and expertise is outstanding, and he always takes the time to explain everything clearly, which immediately puts you at ease. What truly sets him apart is his constant optimism and positive energy. From the very beginning, he believed in my IVF journey and consistently reassured and encouraged me. This positivity made a huge difference and helped me stay hopeful and confident throughout the process. I am extremely grateful for his care, professionalism, and support.

My first appointment was arranged within a week. After my appointment I was offered surgery in exactly one more week. Everything was great, lovely facilities, lovely staff. Everyone was very friendly and constantly being offered coffee etc. On every occasion I was taken either on time or early. I was put at ease and everything was fully explained and what the best lenses for me would be, based on my history and interests. On the day of surgery, everything went fine and there was no pain whatsoever, merely a strange feeling as the surgeon did his stuff. Afterwards I was given advice re eye drops and aftercare and again all great. Everything was fine when I got home, merely discomfort and that soon passed. I had plenty of people checking and following up that all was well. Finally, I had a follow up visit after a few weeks and again everything was great and very professional and I was advised to see my optician and GP. Throughout my time, the service I received was first class.

I have visited Daniela at Sonoworld on many occasions since 2020 for various reasons / body areas to be scanned. Sometimes for routine checking and at other times, via doctor recommendation. Daniela is always very thorough, kind and her room is spotlessly clean. She has always made me feel at ease when explaining her findings. She clearly has many many years of experience and knowledge. She always goes above and beyond and has followed up with me via email and phone call, especially when she could tell that I was anxious. I have been to other Ultrasound clinics in Central London and I have always found that they are more expensive (for no better service) and more importantly, they always try to upsell more of their services, not something that I believe is appropriate when it comes to health. Daniela has seen myself and friends of mine at short notice, and I will always continue to recommend Daniela and Sonoworld to anyone who requires an ultrasound.

Apprehensicw,about todays appointment lead to an afib episode prior ,on.arival professionally asked whether a studenr could be present i had no objection. He allowed me to explain my situation history and current feelings ,i did not feel ant time pressures and felt he was genuiniely listening to my concerns. Presented my options regarding my afib maling a point many tines to reassure me about my issue. I felt at ease,he didnt hokd back about my bicuspid aorta valve preparinf me for what im sure will inevitably be needing to be replaced. Talked about my exersising and current routine and advised to keep up every thing im doing suggested no increase to my medicatiin as already bradycardic and in fact this might be a trgger this i was not aware. Overall a very professional dr whom i would have no quarms about seeing

The Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital

I had an excellent experience at the Lindo Wing. Everyone (midwives, baby doctors, anaesthesiologists) were exceptionally calm, supportive, and reassuring throughout my stay. Every step was clearly explained, and all questions were answered with patience and care. Even with the smallest concern about my baby’s health, a neonatologist was promptly invited to carry out a full assessment, which gave me great peace of mind. I was also supported with my baby’s breast attachment immediately in the delivery room, which was incredibly helpful. The rooms are very well equipped, and during delivery both my and my baby’s heart rates were continuously monitored and carefully assessed. After the birth, we received ongoing guidance on next steps, and both my baby’s and my own health were checked frequently and thoroughly.

I had a great experience at Cyprus ivf hospital. Aman was our coordinator and she was immediately responding to all our worries and questions. It is a clean and well equipped clinic. The prices were fixed and no extra expenses were placed. They let you now about the price from the beginning and you now as the procedure goes on, when and how much you have to pay. Transfer of the embryos took place only when the doctor was sure everything was ready. No rushing. They followed the correct protocol for my case and were always there for us any day any time! Had shoulder surgery as a day case, all went really well. 8 weeks later I was still in considerable pain and went for follow up appointment with Mr Jain. He fully explained what had been done to my shoulder and showed me photographs taken during the operation and said that the pain I was in was to be expected bearing in mind how much work I’d had done. His words gave me more confidence to move my arm more than I had been doing and four weeks later I’ve now been signed off and have great flexibility in my arm, most importantly of all pain-free flexibility.

I saw Dr Alicia Ng for an incredibly itchy rash around my eyes and neck that just wouldn't clear up, even after trying over-the-counter creams. She was very thorough during the examination, identifying the issue as allergic contact dermatitis and noticing patches I hadn't even seen behind my ears. She provided a clear management plan, including a Protopic prescription and helpful advice on avoiding fragrances. I’m really relieved to have a proper diagnosis—highly recommend her.
