I came to KT with an ongoing pain in my glute from running. I had been to another physio for months with no improvement and was feeling quite helpless. She immediately diagnosed it as Deep Glute Syndrome and reassured me that we could treat it. She put me at ease straight away and I could tell that I was in safe hands, and with someone who was incredibly skilled and loved what they do. Her knowledge and experience is so impressive. I also had some lower back issues which she helped me with massively (I’ve had these for years). She helped make a plan for recovery that suited my lifestyle and other exercise to make sure I could continue exercising. She often provided manual therapy which was brilliant too. She was always checking in with me and working to make eveything tailored for me. She was always available by email. She is incredibly kind and always made me feel comfortable and heard which I hadn’t had this before from other physio treatment. She also considered that I was funding the treatment myself and discussed this with me. I genuinely can’t praise KT enough, and would recommend her to anyone with sports injuries. I don’t have the words to thank her for her help and support.

Mr Shobhit Verma

We are extremely grateful to Mr. Shobith Verma and the entire orthopaedic team at Luton & Dunstable Hospital. My son was born with severe club foot in both feet, and his condition was very worrying from the beginning. His treatment started on the 5th day after his birth. Today, at just 2 years old, my son can walk, run, do all his daily activities, and has even started playing football. Seeing this progress feels like a miracle to us, and it has only been possible because of the timely involvement, dedication, and expertise of Mr. Verma. Mr. Verma not only treated our son but also guided us through every step, gave us strength, and supported us during one of the toughest times of our lives. His reassurance, encouragement, and commitment made a huge difference to our family. I would also like to sincerely thank every member of the team who took care of my son. From the reception staff to the clinical team, everyone was amazing—kind, friendly, supportive, and truly compassionate. Thank you, Mr. Verma, for your outstanding care, constant support, and encouragement. We will always be thankful for everything you have done for our son and our family.

Abbington House

Had a very warm welcoming at Abbington house, staff and peers were very nice. Room was nice, quite overwhelming to start with, with it being my first time at rehab. I then started to feel more comfortable with the help of the staff and my peers, putting me out of my comfort zone probably was the best thing they could of done otherwise I wouldn’t of been so open. Staff very accommodating, my therapist was very empathetic, I got on with her very well, opened up slowly but eventually we got there. I still feel I have stuff to work on, my co dependency and self love but I know that will come in time, from outside sources, just think they should not of mentioned that I would be getting DBT therapy whilst I was here as that was one of the selling points to me coming to Abbington house. The only other down side was prior to coming in I was told I would have at least one, one to one a week. But that did not happen for the the first 3 weeks, so felt a bit let down, so did my parents which they then raised there concerned to Mikey, who was quick to come up with 2 options to compensate this, which I thought was very good.

The appointment itself was very positive. Dr. Robert Gordon was calm, validating, and genuinely listened. The room was quiet, warm, and set up like a cosy study, which made it feel safe rather than clinical. He explained the diagnostic impressions clearly at the end in a way that finally made sense, and it didn’t feel dismissive. I left feeling understood in a way I haven’t experienced with other services, although the level of positivity felt unexpected and left me a bit uncertain about how to interpret it. The only issue was the arrival process. My appointment was in the late evening, and reception was closed. It wasn’t clear where to check in, and I had no phone signal. I had to rely on Wi-Fi and the website photos to work out where to wait. Overall, despite the initial uncertainty about the building, the clinical experience was extremely positive. Everything went smoothly, and the assessment itself was very professional.

Recent visit was ok. My Nurses could have been better organised. On arrival no one was there to greet me despite being told to be there at 7.30 am I wasn’t told no one could come up and wait with you or be present after my procedure. The room for pre theatre and after theatre was far too small for 3 beds to be in it. It was also flat too hot in the room making me feel worse.. Unprepared for someone feeling unwell after the procedure. I did feel very rushed after my procedure despite feeling unwell! The doctor on shift however was very good. Nurses rushing to finish their shift in theatre to hand me over made me feel uneasy. Nurse looking after me rushing me out the door as it was past 8pm. I was worried about leaving as still felt pretty unwel. Overall was not tailored to my needs Surgeon & anaesthetist very good can’t fault them at all. Made me feel very at ease before my procedure.

I am so grateful to Delamere for my 4-week stay. The facilities are truly incredible - comfortable, well-appointed and a palpable feeling of safety. The staff are such caring, friendly and interesting people - with the relevant experience to truly empathise and help with our unique circumstances. The food is world-class, with a wide range of options and affordances for those with dietary restrictions. The suite of experiential options will introduce you to new therapeutic experiences, many of which you may take away with you. The curriculum is focussed and has real depth, and is taught by professionals with real experience of addiction. The clinical staff are wonderfully attentive and caring, and will move mountains to make you comfortable. I am so pleased to have made the decision to stay at Delamere and would recommend it whole heartedly to anyone who wants to make a change.

What impressed me most was how thorough they were despite it being a remote consultation. The doctor asked detailed, thoughtful questions to make sure it was completely safe for me to go ahead with treatment. I never felt rushed, and I was given plenty of clear, helpful information throughout the call. Grace is the most professional, knowledgeable, caring, friendliest dentist we know. The receptionists and all Grace’s team are all extremely friendly, so lovely, and are always very supportive and polite. I recently had laser eye surgery with Dr Konstantopoulos and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From the first consultation, he was friendly, approachable, and very honest about the different treatment options, including what would and wouldn’t be suitable for me. He took the time to answer all my questions clearly and made sure I felt comfortable and well-informed at every stage. The procedure itself was quick and professionally handled, and the aftercare has been excellent. My vision is now significantly improved, and the whole experience was great. I’d highly recommend Dr Konstantopoulos to anyone considering laser eye surgery.

I had a very positive experience at my recent doctor’s appointment. The staff were attentive, friendly, and truly made me feel cared for. I was especially impressed that the doctors themselves came to the waiting area to welcome their patients (shake their hands 🤝) and personally guide them to the examination rooms — a small gesture that makes a big difference. I also appreciated that I was offered help without having to ask repeatedly, which has unfortunately been my experience at my local GP in the past. Overall, the visit felt organized, professional, and genuinely patient-centered. Highly recommend. Thank you.

they were very considerate considering I was terrified as once before I had to press the button. I couldn’t go through with it and I had to go to an open scanner as they were about to place me through. I had to stop them. They gave me time to recompose and got me to look backwards and upwards and out through the exposed end and that made the whole experience different can’t tell you how relieved I am to get through that. I’m highly claustrophobic so yes, the experience was a positive one.

Very good overall. Minor gripes only would be the limited parking, limited capacity in waiting areas and that some seating is too low to meet the needs of hip / knee patients . The roll out of the new call centre facility makes for a patchy experience at times and it’s concerning that online accounts fail to show all patient appointments - even with the consultants - which may lead to confusion and potential missed appointments. Work in progress and will surely iron out in time.

Dr Margarita was very knowledgeable and kind. I would definitely recommend coming to the Lantern Clinic. I felt listened too and she emphasised as a woman with my issues. I had plenty of time to chat and didn’t feel rushed,. Dr Margarita devised a plan for me to follow and recommended a gold standard brand of supplements I should start. I am booked in for a follow up appointment in several weeks time, to discuss how my treatment plan went and if I saw improvements.

Mr Rose brought humour to a situation which I had begun to find distressing. More to the point, he was confident and positive when discussing the removal of the metal fixation from my ankle. I had previously joined a webinar that he offered during the summer and I found this very informative and helpful. Mr Rose has ‘energy’ and I felt the benefit of that quality!
