My experience with Albion Dental has been brilliant from start to finish of my treatment. My dentist Dr Ghadimi is very kind, and is very skilled with the procedures he can perform. I have severe hypodontia and even after extensive work throughout my life I was not quite confident with my teeth, so after some discussion and planning, I decided to pursue new crowns for my top 4 teeth; a big decision for me but it has been well worth it and I have no regrets. The treatment was explained well, and my questions were answered fully and meticulously. The nature of the treatment was more cosmetic compared to previous work I've had done, and a big financial endeavour for me, but there are payment plans available to make it more affordable and accessible. The dental assistants are really lovely and look after you well, and the receptionists are always a ray of sunshine when entering the building; their client care skills are exemplary. Some advice for if you have a complex condition and have had a lot of dental work done before coming to the practice like myself, would be to make sure to let the clinic know as much information as possible, as there was some communication that needed to be had to get on level ground with the team. But this was to be expected for me with my long medical history and the clinic was very open and receptive to my concerns about my teeth, and devised a plan sensitively and effectively to help me feel more confident with my smile, something I've felt self-conscious about since I was little! So I would recommend this clinic to anyone for routine, or more involved treatment, and am grateful for everything they've done for me!

From the moment I met Mr. Duffy, I knew I was in the right place. He immediately understood me - not just as a patient, but as a runner - and how important running is to my identity and well-being. Running is a huge part of my life, so finding a surgeon who truly understood was essential. Mr Duffy’s patient-first approach stood out. Despite being a surgeon, he didn’t rush to recommend surgery. Instead, we agreed to explore non-surgical options first, which really reflected his integrity, empathy, and commitment to doing what’s best for the person in front of him. When I later chose to go ahead with an arthroscopy. Mr. Duffy saw me both before and after the procedure on the day, which was incredibly steadying. The initial day-to-day recovery was remarkably quick, and although the longer-term recovery has required more patience and strength, I was back to some level of running just four weeks later. I’m incredibly grateful for Mr. Duffy’s care, understanding, and the trust he inspired from day one. He and his team (special thanks also to Lauren, whose support helped me feel confident about the decision to proceed with surgery) have made a real difference in my journey back to running for good.

If you are going to see Dr Ansari, you are going because you have serious concerns about your health and well being. Let me assure you this is the doctor you want to put you at ease, his level of professionalism and more Importantly his ability to relate to you and make you comfortable are second to none. He listens attentively and offers explanations to guide you through your journey. Whilst carrying out the proceedure he ensured that I was fully aware of what was going to happen and kept things light hearted. Post op - great follow up, with clear and concise explanations, welcoming questions. There is an element of familiarity when the doctor approaches you, he finds the ability to relate, which is great, a Doctor that actually talks to you rather than at you! Lastly his secretary always kept in touch regularly , super friendly and always there when you need her. GREAT!

I recently had a septoplasty procedure with Dr. Anthony Jacob and I couldn’t be happier with the care I received. From the very first consultation, Dr. Jacob made me feel comfortable and confident by explaining everything clearly – from the details of the procedure to the possible risks and what to expect during recovery. The surgery itself went smoothly, and thanks to Dr. Jacob’s skill and reassurance, I felt I was in very safe hands throughout. At my follow-up appointment, I was delighted to learn that my healing had gone exactly as expected and no further treatment was needed. I am truly grateful for Dr. Jacob’s professionalism, kindness, and expertise, and I would highly recommend him to anyone considering this procedure.

I attended HSSH for a hip examination under anaesthetic with a local anaesthetic injection with Professor Griffin. I cannot fault the administration in the run up to the procedure, or the care and attention that I had before, during and after. All the of staff, from the reception team to the team involved in the procedure itself - Prof Griffin, Dr Kazmi (anaesthetist), Rebecca (physio), Remmi (nurse) + all the theatre staff, made it efficient and comfortable. They also accommodated my request to stay a little longer than was necessary, until my partner could get to the hospital to escort me home until, which was much appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use HSSH again.

Mr Santosh Bhandari

Mr Bhandari had a kind reassuring bedside manner noticing I was nervous before my procedure but easily calmed my nervousness by his genuine reassurance. Explained everything to me in my language rather than medical language before my procedure too. Even during my procedure spoke to me explaining what he could see showing me exactly the area he was talking about on screen. Very gentle in my most sore painful areas and advising me to take pain relief via gas n air in time. I shall not hesitate sharing any further concerns if needed and woukd not like to be booked in with any other surgeon. I also would like yo thank all the staff on duty that day too. Attended for a PSA blood test. Arrived a few minutes early but was taken for the test straight away and made to feel very comfortable by a very nice nurse who asked me if I had a problem with blood tests - which I do. She told me to lie on a bench and was very reassuring and I was sorted out in no time at all. A quick plaster on the injection site and I was out the door again - feeling quite brave by then of course - a few minutes before my actual appointment time. You don't get that service on the NHS nowadays sadly. I still don't like blood tests but, if you do need one, you can't do much better than in my opinion.

Car parking can be a problem. There are some local side streets with the odd space or Sainsbury is about a 20 minute walk, think you get about 3 hours. I had my operation on a Saturday and the place seemed very quiet and peaceful, one member of staff said it's more chaotic in the week. Parking was easy at 7.30am on Saturday but I had been dropped off anyway. There are buses that stop nearby from Macclesfield bus station but I haven't tried them. It's lovely to have your own room, particularly if you're a very sensitive person. The staff on the whole treat you with respect.

I had the privilege of being a patient under Professor Bajaj who, in the space of just a few short weeks, managed to successfully diagnose and build a treatment plan for an ENT issue that has caused me problems since a very young age. Professor Bajaj was incredibly attentive to my needs and explained everything well in an appropriate manner to ensure that his care remained patient led from the start. I really appreciate the care received and recommend him to anyone who may require similar services.

Non clinical but important. Waiting between appointments I ordered a coffee from the shop at 4.50 pm and asked for a proper cup. Because they cleaning closing down I was told I had to have a takeaway cup as people don’t always bring the proper cups back. I suggest either be honest and just say you want to get off home or trust people to leave a proper cup on a table for collection in the morning. Too difficult or am I being a bit too picky as the rest of the Ashford one appears customer focused?

My original COnsultant had been Mr Aboshiha as I had originally thought I might pursue toric lenses, but following the consultation, changed my mind so I did not actually have a full consultation with Dr Kwok. However, I was extremely impressed by his calm, professional and straightforward manner. He handled the operation without fuss and keeping me informed throughout. Although I will feel equally nervous when I have my next operation, I will have confidence in Dr Kwok.

I booked 10 physio sessions with Reuben at FitFor after a climbing injury that left me with nerve pain in my calf. Over the course of the sessions Reuben gave me techniques to manage the pain and exercises to strengthen my calf and ankle. I’m completely pain free and have a much better understanding of the things I need to look out for to avoid injury in the future. Thank you, Reuben, for your patience, coaching, and flexibility.

Mr Lilly is an outstanding ENT specialist. From our first visit he led with empathy and clear communication. He took the time to explain every step. It was clear he specialises in children’s ENT, and having seen other doctors he was the best by far. We felt heard and supported from diagnosis through surgery and follow up. Our daughter is now breathing comfortably and the change is remarkable. I cannot thank Mr Lilly enough.
