On the day of delivery, her calm, confident presence made all the difference. I felt supported every step of the way, and the surgery itself was so well managed that I felt amazing afterward — far better than I ever expected. What could have been an overwhelming experience became a genuinely positive and enjoyable moment for both my husband and me. Thanks to her compassion, skill, and attentiveness, my anxiety was eased, and my birth experience was one I will always look back on with gratitude. I am so thankful to have been in her care and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for an obstetrician or considering a C-section who truly goes above and beyond.

I was awake under spinal anaesthetic and felt completely safe from the start, as it was clear he was very much in control in the operating theatre. I am now pain free after suffering from severe debilitating osteoarthritis for many years. He is a brilliant surgeon and I would not hesitate to see him again. I had an online ADHD assessment with Bernhard Kelley-Patterson. Bernhard was very friendly and professional, I felt at ease throughout the appointment and would happily talk with him again. So far my experience with Skylight has been very positive, the wait times between communication emails are generally 3-5 days and it took approximately 8 weeks to get my first appointment after the registering my interest. Considering the NHS waiting list for an ADHD assessment is 4 years, I’d say that pretty damn good. I would highly recommend opting for Skylight through the ‘Right to Choose’ pathway via the NHS. After not getting an appointment with our GP I decided to book an appointment late on in the afternoon when I became concerned with my child. I was able to book online with ease and had the appointment for 35 minutes later. The staff were welcoming and it wasn’t long in the waiting room before we were seen. Fiona made my child and myself feel at ease and did a thorough check. She even offered a follow up MOT check the next day which left me very reassured. This is the third time I’ve used the clinic and would recommend to anyone needing piece of mind when they can’t access their own GP unfortunately..

It was so reassuring to be certain I was seeing an actual medically qualified person (uncertain in todays NHS) whose judgement therefore I felt I could trust. Dr Ridout was very understanding and approachable - an attentive listener, carried out an objective examination and was happy to discuss it together with why she was suggesting the proposed treatment plan. I would definitely recommend this Practice.

We paid £240 to the consultant and gained no extra knowledge or benefit. She basically couldn’t help because she said I needed fertility and not recurrent miscarriage. She said there was a fertility consultant there I should have booked with. Then why not offer to not charge me and book me with right person? Isn’t that what healthcare should be about rather than about taking my money? There is no triage service in place to make sure I got the right appointment. I feel robbed at a time where I am vulnerable.

I had a very large ovarian cyst. At my first pre-op appointment, Ms Lou talked me through the scan. Putting my nerves to rest, explaining the procedure. We knew, I was in good hands. On the day of my operation, miss Lou spoke to me before and after. I am so grateful of the care I received throughout and to have a lovely chat, on the phone, three weeks after my operation with Ms Ying Yiing Lou to see how I was doing was a great comfort. Thank you to Ms Lou and all her staff.

My experience was very good but spoiled somewhat as the receptionist could not give me a date for the biopsy after I had my consultation with the Consultant. From what I could gather he did not have any slots open ! . That was on the 8th of January and I was told that someone would be in touch. It is now the 17th of January and I would like to know a date so that I can arrange as far as possible to be free then .

Very kind and polite doctor. The problem was getting an appt. Leave two messages with his secretary and she never came back to me. Tried to book online but came to end of booking and it wouldn’t finish. Then phoned the hospital general number. Twice rang and after a while was cut off. Finally got through and sorted an appointment. Everybody at the hospital was very polite and helpful.

There is free underground parking, plenty of accessible toilets, large waiting areas, drinks machines and reading materials. The facilities are clean and well kept, with plenty of signage around the building.
