Newmedica Leeds. 5* Care from start to finish. My optician at Specsavers suggested it was time to consider cataract surgery and I was offered an NHS referral to my choice of providers. I chose Newmedica Leeds and just over 2-3 weeks later had an initial consultation at Newmedica. Unfortunately my high blood pressure caused some problems and delayed the first cataract operation to my left eye, after 4-5 weeks weeks I had surgery on my first eye and 5-6 weeks later my second eye was done. Without exception all of the staff I met at Newmedica were friendly, helpful, and very caring. The consultant who carried out the procedure on both eyes (Mr. Kamran Khan) took the time to explain the procedure and answer my questions. During the procedures he was reassuring and calmly explained what was happening. Both procedures were carried out successfully and my sight is so much better now. I would like to give a big thank you to Mr Kamran Khan and his team and my Optometrist Summer Elyoussfi and her team for all the care and attention I received. I have no hesitation in recommending Newmedica Leeds.

The care and support I have received from her has genuinely been life changing. Dr Pittock has helped me understand my ADHD in a way that has completely changed how I approach my life. After many years of struggling to make sense of certain challenges, she has given me clarity, reassurance and practical guidance that has made a real difference to my day-to-day life. Starting treatment under her guidance has been a very positive experience, and I now feel like I am looking forward rather than constantly looking back. She is warm, kind and very easy to talk to, which immediately puts you at ease. At the same time, she is clearly extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful in her approach. My almost 3 year old child recently saw Mr Hartley for adenoidtonsilectomy and grommets. The whole experience was brilliant, he reassured me and her through the entire process. He was extremely understanding of my concerns and addressed all thoroughly. Her recovery was amazing and he saw her as an emergency when she had a suspected ear infection without question. It was extremely easy to get an appointment with him and surgery was booked for the following week. I cannot recommend Mr Hartley more, in fact he is doing my other child’s procedure in a couple of weeks which was initially booked with another consultant but moved to Mr Hartley as I trust him and his team with my children’s lives. I wouldn’t want to see anyone else. And as a bonus, his Secretary Angela is amazing, she’s so helpful, knowledgeable and understanding, they all made an incredibly stressful, emotional experience a calm and positive one.

I had a combined ASD & ADHD appointment at Diverse Minds Clinic and am very happy with the outcome. I had to fill in several questionnaires before the appointment, and that was pretty hard. However, the sacrifice was repaid, as Dr Cappai put me at ease and understood my difficulties. For the first time, I felt heard, and it was a great experience. The service provided at Diverse Minds Clinic is impressive. They tend to reply very quickly, and staff do all they can to support you. The team has been very helpful, and they went above and beyond to help me with the forms where I was having problems. Dr Cappai also arranged to speak with me on the phone, free of charge, before my appointment, which I thought was remarkable. I will continue working with Dr Cappai during the titration period and possibly in the future. Highly recommended.

Being assessed and diagnosed with ADHD as an adult wasn’t easy emotionally, but they handled everything with real professionalism, patience, and understanding. I never felt rushed or judged, and they took the time to explain things clearly so I actually understood what was going on rather than feeling labelled. Since the diagnosis, I’ve felt more clarity about myself and my wellbeing, and that alone has been hugely valuable. Hello I was very upset when the hospital charge me for XRAY in an NHS hospital that we have to be in the queue and don't get the private care. I had a fall in June 2024 and had an operation at RFH unfortunately the operation was not successful. I can't walk properly I am on a stick and have lots of pain. If I go to private is because I don't have any access to NHS but that doesn't mean that for diagnosis I need to pay while me and my family are paying a lot for taxes and don't benefit for our health when we need and are desperate. I also have been to another private consultant to find out what went wrong and if I can ever get better and can walk but they just charge me for consultation not XRAY in an all private clinic. Thank you

Excellent explanation of the results from a recent CT scan, probing for possible kidney stones. A stone was found to be apparent, as well as other medical findings that Mr Agrawal took time to advise me on. He also gave invaluable ongoing dietary advice and recommended an ultrasound in a year’s time, which should be arranged via my GP. Mr Agrawal had already written to my GP outlining my initial consultation, and I have no doubt he will also be as efficient in relating the results to my GP as soon as possible. I was very reassured by Mr Agrawal that I was suffering from no major health issues, and as long as I adhered to his advice concerning sensible diet control, my proneness to kidney stones would hopefully decrease in time.

Mr Radley was the 5th consultant I saw regarding my operation and it was well worth the search. Mr Radley performed my operation with Robotic-assisted surgery enabling me to make a much faster recovery (weeks) all the other consultants wanted to perform open surgery which would have meant months of painful convalescence. Mr Radley beside manner was second to none as he ensured he visited me everyday after the operation to check on my progress. Simon personality and humility is very welcoming to the point your feel like friends and someone you can trust. I cannot thank Simon enough to enable me to recover so fast after major surgery.

Though I prepared in advance for what expect in relation to parking and expected to pay on the way out, an usher directed me to another car park where there were options of paying on an app or using cash. I had time on my side luckily. Directions were almost right but I would have been better prepared if I had known the entrance sits at the back of the main A&E entrance. The staff were friendly and the environment was clean and calm. The doctor was incredible, attentive, patient, precise, clear and efficient. The experience was good.

Genuinely friendly and supportive and go out of their way to make sure that guests are as comfortable as possible through the detox and throughout the programme. Staff are always approachable and will support or direct you to whoever can. My vegetarian needs were fully met and the food was plentiful with lots of healthy options. Plenty of options for between sessions with yoga, gym and creative activities.
