So we have recently registered at this practice following a really positive experience with a wisdom extraction. We have been registered with the lovely Antonia. I have lived with a problematic silver filling for about a year and wanted to replace with a white one. The procedure was estimated to last an hour. I absolutely hate fillings and always feel like I’m drowning. Thanks you Antonia’s technique, patience and understanding it was the most pleasant filling I have ever had. Antonia had a really lovely calm mind approach. I talk way too much when nervous but Antonia takes time to explain everything to me and was extremely reassuring. Antonia took photos of the before during and after and spent time showing me. It was something I have never experienced. I also had to take me son there the same day for a filling. My son is only 9 and it was daunting. Again Antonia spent a lot of time explaining to my son what was going to happen. Antonia was very gentle, my son sat there and received a filling with no anaesthetic thanks to Antonia’s approach. It’s so nice to see a dentist be so understanding of how scary it can be. Antonia has also installed confidence into my son about dentist work and visits which is just amazing. I cannot praise Antonia enough. Thank you.

I was seen by a young male dentist (apologies, he did tell me but I can't recall his name and it isn’t listed on the website – perhaps he is new). He was professional, informative, and efficient throughout my appointment. As I’m allergic to local anaesthetics, fillings can be particularly uncomfortable, but he was very reassuring and took great care, as did the dental nurse. By far, this has been the best service I’ve experienced at the practice to date. My only critique is not directed at the dentist himself, but rather the practice’s policy. Over the past couple of years, I’ve noticed that patients cannot book a filling replacement directly without first having a pre-booking consultation. This essentially doubles both the cost and the time needed off work. In my case, a chipped filling was causing pain due to decay, and it was obvious that a replacement filling was required. I had to insist several times when booking that I did not need a pre-assessment, only a filling appointment. Given that I am a private patient and a silver filling costs almost £200, being charged for an unnecessary pre-booking simply to confirm what is already evident feels unreasonable.

Was brilliant! For a few of days I was having worsening pain in my ear - I couldn't get a GP appointment, and the pharmacist wasn’t able to do anything as couldn’t look in my ear or prescribe. By Saturday morning I was having horrendous pain / infection / bleeding from the ear. Was not appropriate for A&E or UTC. I couldn’t wait for the GP to open Monday, and being a single mum to a 2 year old I just needed something desperately. So on Saturday morning I went online and found this place. I phoned and had an immediate appointment sorted in minutes. Drove to the Doctors lounge, seen straight away. Brilliant Doctor, really understanding and helpful. Took a history, examined me and prescribed me what I needed. She was also really patient with my 2 year old (even let her listen to her toy giraffe with her stethoscope). When I left, I went straight to get my prescription and it was all sorted. Started taking the medicine right away and the relief was huge. Also just felt really reassured that I had been seen by a professional about this as was staring to worry. Can’t fault it at all. Will absolutely use this Doctors Lounge again if needed.

I am deeply concerned with Dr Murray’s assessment of my medical history and his reluctance to understand the fact that mast cell activation syndrome has particular effect of lungs and bronchial functions. Dr Murray advice yesterday was that I have to fo to physio therapy to learn how to breath. I will obviously follow this advice and then in times of crisis when I will not be able to breath properly, have urticaria and swelling I will have to follow Dr Murrray advice and breath in and out. Dr Murray said that I am wheezing from larynx. You can ask Dr Pattle when I came to see her in spring I was covered all over in urticaria and I was wheezing. I do not think that Dr Murray is working won a regular basis with patients like myself and maybe its best if he cont help to say that he can’t help instead of saying that I do not have a problem with breathing when I have. I sent him several letters from various specialists yesterday. Maybe he shud read them before jumping into incorrect conclusions

Dr Eduardo Di Cuffa is a great doctor. It’s difficult to summarise in words how appreciative I am for his time and his advice. I felt listened to without judgement, with all of my concerns being explored on a deeper level. He asked appropriate and explorative questions that pivoted the appointment to help bring clearer understanding and precedence to certain issues that I had otherwise maybe not been actively prioritising (but they definitely needed to be). He honoured my personal held beliefs when discussing treatment options, but also offered his insight and opinions. It created a safe environment, where refreshing and open conversations could be had where different thoughts and opinions could exist. He’s kind, intelligent, informative, empathetic, understanding and I really felt the desire he has to help. I cannot recommend him as a doctor enough.

We found TCM on google and the reviews seemed really good. My wife and I had been TTC for many years naturally but also involves some surgical procedures that had a negative impact. There was no monthly cycle for almost a year before we found TCM and gave it a go. Professor Au was friendly and thorough during the first consultation and referred us for a blood test. The conclusion was a severe hormonal imbalance that was probably a stress and trauma response to a number of things. Long story short after 10 weeks of following the course of custom remedies we had a breakthrough. My wife went from borderline clinical menopause to having a full on healthy period. We are now one major step closer to realising our dream of conceiving. Thank you so much to the TCM team!!

I would highly rate the care that I was given throughout my time in the hospital and I would like to commend the nursing staff in particular, however I have one major issue which has left me very dissastisfied. During my first appointment I was told that I needed the socket of my hip replaced and was given a price for that procedure. Then I met with another doctor who said that said if the whole hip needed replaced it would cost considerably more and quoted a price up to £12000 more if this work needed to be done. It was confirmed after the operation that I only needed the socket replaced but was charged the price quoted for a full hip replacement without any explanation. I would like to hear from someone about resolving this issue.

My last visit was a 6 week follow up post partial knee replacement. Mr Vachtsevanos is a very warm and friendly surgeon and explained the procedure I had undergone in detail with views of X-rays taken. I felt very pleased with the outcome and knew what to expect during my rehabilitation. I was very fortunate and grateful to be able to express concerns about my other knee and had various X-rays taken and given a full explanation of findings and plan with regards this at the same appointment.

We were anxious about our daughter Abigail going under anaesthetic but put completely at ease by the friendly and professional team. Mr Moor gave a detailed description of the procedure and we particularly liked that our daughter was given the choice of IV or gas administration of anaesthesia. Nurse Jen provided exceptional care and was kind and compassionate throughout. Aftercare advice on discharge was very thorough. The ward was spotlessly clean and food very good.
