Nicola Hood has been a diamond in a coal mine for me personally. She opened my mind so gently that I never even felt it happen. Her manor is so calming and her abilities to shine light and logic onto what for me was the unexplained has taken me to a place where i can begin to regain control of a very important aspect of my life. Nicola seems to have a very natural talent of getting to the route of things without a feeling of invasion into your private feelings. I was embarrassed about the way i was feeling when i first spoke with Nicola and I am still amazed how easy she was to talk to and how quickly she understood and clarified things for me. Thanks to Nicola I am on a new path, with a different mind set going forward and with all the tools she presented to me I am now determined to honor her invested passion and emotional input by successfully conquering my fears and challenges. I can honestly say that alone i would have not been able to get back to where i want to be but Nicola has opened this door for me and shown me that it is achievable. My future now seems clearer and hopefully by me holding up my end of the commitment I shall be riding my motorcycle again and i look forward to the spring of 2026 where I can thank Nicola from behind my motorcycle handlebars. From my initial appointment with Mr Hoo, I felt all my questions were answered and felt at ease, from the onset I knew I would choose Mr Hoo as my surgeon. I had done a lot of research for my procedure and felt reassured from my initial appointment. Pauline (Mr Hoo’s nurse) was also very informative and patient regarding any questions which I had. My surgery was booked and due to unforeseen circumstances had to rescheduled, Brenda in appointments was very helpful and offered me a cancellation slot which I was very thankful for. On the day of surgery, I was admitted into the admission pod and here all staff were attentive, I met with the anaesthetist and Mr Hoo and thereafter went to theatre. The theatre nurse and anaesthetist were so lovely, talked me through everything and I felt reassured. Thereafter, in the recovery ward, the nurse was excellent when asked about pain, I was immediately given pain meds which eased the pain and brought upstairs to a room which the excellent care continued. Mr Hoo came to see me and answer any further questions, truly 5* service from the onset. The hospital was spotless and attention to detail by all staff was exceptional.

I Attended spire Washington 15th November to recieve total left hip replacement surgery from Dr Krishnan’s team. My experience from my first consultation to final discharge was superb. Having never been in hospital before, Everything was fully explained, and I was put totally at ease. The actual surgery went perfectly, the anethatists were brilliant and I felt no pain and slept through the operation which went very well. My Post operative care was first class, everyone involved in my care was excellent, and I was discharged the following day after some PT. My recovery from Surgery has been way better than expected, I was walking unaided after 9 days and by 4 weeks I was able to walk several miles, the incision has healed well and the scar is quite neat . This surgery has been life changing as I was struggling with mobility and pain from osteoarthritis, and now I’m back to normal and able to do all of the things I could before I developed the complaint. I can’t thank Dr Krishnan and his team enough and I would thoroughly recommend him without any reservation.

He made me feel at ease and was very precise with his explanation. I had a sensitive issue and again Mr Thomas and his amazing secretary arranged everything with no complications. I have had my follow up and everything is going well and mr Thomas reassured me any issues that might occur he and his team will address it but I’m well on the road to recovery,so not expecting any complications but reassuring to know he is there if needed, so thank you again .

Mr Nigam and his secretary Jessica were brilliant from the very first email response right the way through to my final review. All my questions were answered promptly and the whole process was managed in a really efficient, dignified and professional manner. My initial consult was arranged within 48 hours of my first enquiry email, and after informing the team that managing this was time sensitive, my treatment was booked within 10 days. I was really well prepared for what to expect and the post-op phase, and truly found that there was little/no discomfort. I'd 100% recommend Mr Nigam and Jessica for anyone in need of his expertise!

Dr Allaa Al Tayeb was extremely skilled and professional, and took the time to thoroughly explain the PRP procedure in a clear and reassuring way. She walked me through the different treatment options available, set realistic expectations, and provided detailed after-care advice to maximise results. The procedure itself was very smooth and involved hardly any pain, which made the whole experience even more reassuring. I felt well looked after throughout the appointment and confident in the approach taken. I highly recommend Dr Al Tayeb and the clinic, and I will definitely be returning.

It was the best decision I have ever made from my first appointment with Mr Whittingham- Jones to my final appointment today first class service through out everything runs like clockwork excellent Surgeon & very good nursing staff . The place is immaculate. Would not hesitate to recommend this place high enough Mr Whittingham-Jones is a highly skilled surgeon the difference getting my left leg done by a surgeon was by far a 100% better than when my right leg was carried out by a robot .

I saw Dr Pavlidis for a procedure required for an angiogram. It then required a more complex angioplasty due to total occlusion of my coronary artery. On both procedures, Dr Pavlidis was very professional, sincere and clear. He explained clearly what was involved and risks and then followed up with personally coming over after the procedure and explaining the post procedure status and next steps. He is straight forward approach and to the point was what I appreciated.

I have had quite complex restorative work carried out by him in the past and the results have been excellent. On a personal level he is an extremely nice man. I thoroughly enjoyed staying in The Westminster Maternity Suite twice, after delivering my babies. The care, cleanliness, privacy, personal space and food are fantastic. I had really enjoyed staying there for the recovery after giving birth. The views of Big Ben both times were an amazing bonus for the night feeds of my newborn.
