The team at One Stop Healthcare in Hemel Hempstead were very friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. I had a clean, tidy private room, which made the experience much more comfortable. The two ladies who handled my general anaesthetic were excellent and really helped put me at ease as I was quite nervous. Post surgery, the physio who showed me how to use my crutches and explained my recovery was lovely. My only criticism was the inconsistency around my sick note - my surgeon signed me off for 6 weeks, but a nurse was unhelpful and stated they only do 4 weeks and that I would need to see my GP to extend it! This felt unnecessary given this was my agreed recovery time. My surgeon did step in to resolve this. I did appreciate the follow up call a week after surgery to check how I was doing, which was a nice touch overall.

My partner and I came to the Agora for a fertility assessment as we've been trying to conceive for a couple of years. The doctor was kind in explaining our results and gave a clear plan of what they recommend moving forwards. I chose the clinic based on the good reviews and we are so happy that we did. All the staff we have come across have been very nice and answered any questions that we had. We feel comfortable choosing the Agora for IVF even though this is an unknown road ahead, i feel supported.

Consultation with Dr Alice Thomas. Parking was easy Welcomed by lovely receptionist who immediately offered me a tea Met Dr Alice who immediately felt 'and relax'! Instant reassuring and lovely energy. Thoroughly talked through blood results. No rushing. No worries at all. Am a little confused with the form filling in via the web site, and I am inundated with reminders to fill them in both on the Internet and on my phone. It often makes me wonder if you have received them? Everything absolutely fine otherwise... My deafness causes me a problem, but once I have reminded the staff I am deaf, then they always make sure I understand what they are saying.
