Nurses and clinicians very friendly and made the experience much more bearable (Dom, Karen, Svetlana and Maria - thank you!) Main issue with my experience was inability to get basic medication required for pain relief post-surgery. Was told my procedure would be finished and we could leave around noon. But my pain medication (codeine and paracetamol, so nothing complicated!) had to be couriered from a local pharmacy. We waited over 4 hours for it to arrive and it never came. In the meantime my numbing had worn off and I was in a lot of pain - my partner had to go and ask the nurses if there was any spare codeine I could have while I waited. We eventually gave up and went home after many hours wasted, and had to pay for a private prescription at a pharmacy near home. Appreciate delay was with pharmacy and nurses did their best to get updates, but this system is not working.

Dr Ryan has given very clear explanations of my diagnosis and the way forward, and has organised tests with the necessary codes to make dealing with Aviva as easy as possible. Dr Ryan also made himself available for the initial visit very quickly after my initial work health screening, despite the holiday season approaching, and has been consistently quick at speaking to me about results and next actions, and drafting letters confirming these. Monica has also been incredibly helpful, organising appointments, codes, changing dates, etc, sometimes replying late into the evening to ensure the appointments / insurance details could be organised as quickly as possible.

I have visited the Private Eye Hospital on many occasions(the last one on 8.1.26)and have always found all the staff to be very friendly but professional.The service I have received on each occasion has been of the highest order.I would particularly like to mention my eye Consultant Sharmina Khan.She is without doubt the “jewel in the crown”for the Hospital.Anything involving your eyes is incredibly stressful.Sharmina has an amazing ability to put you at your ease and feel confident everything will be fine which it has been.If you read this review and require advice in relation to your eyes then I would have no hesitation in recommending this Hospital

Mr Vishwanath performed my squint surgery, and I couldn’t be happier with how life-changing the results have been. I had the surgery in September and have now been completely signed off, with the procedure proving to be a huge success. For the first time in my life, I am able to drive without glasses or any worries, and I am no longer dependent on them at all. I now find sports far more enjoyable and feel much more able to do things I previously couldn’t. It would help to have the same team more regularly as per the information but I realise that because of ‘flu it was not possible Some locus on Daturdau were good. One useless The hospital experience other than the rehab was nothing like as good as the Princess Grace and left alot to be desired

I was asked to arrive approximately 1.5 hours before the procedure with a full bladder, the latter of which was not necessary. It was a very long and uncomfortable waiting time and I would have brought a book should someone have told me this in advance. This was no reflection on Mr Alhasso though, who was excellent.
