I am deeply thankful to Mr. Vakharia and his team for the exceptional care provided before, during, and after my recent endometriosis surgery. His patient-centred approachfostered complete trust in the process throughout. My initial consultation with Mr. Vakharia was due to complaints of excruciating menstrual pain that had eventually become constant. I was grateful that he listened to my symptoms patiently and did not dismiss my pain, respecting my feeling that "something isn't right." He immediately referred me for a diagnostic ultrasound, which subsequently confirmed the diagnosis of endometriosis. Following the diagnosis, Mr. Vakharia thoroughly reviewed all available treatment options, clearly explaining the risks and benefits of each. Crucially, I never felt pressured; he emphasised that the final decision was mine, based on my lifestyle and preferences. When I chose surgery, he advised that it would need to be a joint procedure with a colorectal surgeon due to the complex nature of my endometriosis. Mr. Jenkins, colorectal surgeon was also very thorough and explained his part in the surgery very patiently. On the day of surgery, the bedside manner of the entire team—including the colorectal surgeon, the anaesthesiologist, and Mr. Vakharia himself—was phenomenal. I felt incredibly assured and supported entering the operating theatre. Post-surgery, I felt fully supported throughout my recovery in the hospital. Mr. Vakharia personally visited me multiple times during my stay, which was hugely reassuring and helped ease any anxieties. One month post-surgery, I am recovering exceptionally well. The debilitating pain I experienced before the procedure is now almost entirely resolved. To put it simply, I feel I have my life back. I am deeply thankful for Mr. Vakharia's surgical skill, dedication, and compassionate approach to women's health.

My anxiousness was immediately reduced through a clear and simple explanation of the procedure and the coordinated actions of a well rehearsed team of remarkable people. My ablation procedure was completed successfully and Dr Lencioni is my first choice for ongoing management.

All the staff at Visio have been friendly, professional and highly skilled. Communication is a key to their success and being able to reassure the patient and keep them fully informed. Giving the gift of clear vision. Back to a patient is an amazing thing and they clearly take great pleasure and pride in being able to give that gift. I shaved without my glasses for the first time in many years, I can drive and get about my daily business without glasses. I am actually typing this out on my phone without glasses. I was thinking about having a breast reduction and tummy tuck for a few years following 3 caesarean births. I phoned river medical, on a friend’s recommendation, and never looked back. Mr Hodgins is highly professional but also very easy to talk to, I didn’t feel embarrassed asking any question. He left no query unanswered or worry unresolved. I am 8 weeks post op now and am absolutely thrilled with the results. They are so much better than I could’ve imagined! My only regret is that I waited so long! If you are thinking about getting this operation, my advice would be to make an appointment with the team

My experience at the McIndoe centre was incredible. Throughout my surgery and stay the entire team were incredibly kind and caring. I was given plenty of reassurance prior to my surgery, everyone involved during my surgery was incredibly professional and the aftercare following my surgery was incredible. All of my nurses were incredibly kind and helpful and made the process so much easier. I had a great private room and bathroom, and the food was also great! Cannot recommend the McIndoe centre enough, they will be my first choice should I have any more procedures in future

Jack has helped me manage the symptoms of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome through a tailored strengthening and fitness program. He's measured my progress over time using rep count reports and strength measuring devices as well as charting general wellbeing. We recently started adapted boxing too which I have enjoyed. I feel really supported and motivated to reach my goals. He is understanding and meets you where you are at fitness-wise, as well as pushing you to the best you can be. I would definitely recommend Jack to other people with long term health conditions like me.

I’d definitely recommend your clinic but was a little disappointed today by the lack of sympathy from the sonographers when I went for my 6 week 4 day scan. I explained that the pregnancy wasn’t viable (I’d had a blood test at your clinic on Saturday and learn by HCG only increased 8% in 48 hrs) and this would be my third miscarriage in 12 months from my IVF pregnancies and I didn’t receive any shock or sympathy for this. It wasn’t a big deal but if the practice wants to be even better some additional warmth and sympathy would go a long way.

Dr Newman was very thorough and reassuring during the in-person assessment and follow up consultation. He took time to explain complex information in a way easy to understand. I highly recommend him. However there was a lack of clarity between my insurance provider and Dr Newman’s admin team about the excess due, which only became clearly until after the event. I was chased aggressively with late payment fees added. This aspect of the service could be improved to be more transparent up front.
