I recently completed my final assessment with Dr Edney Boston-Griffiths through My New Self and I can honestly say the experience has been both positive and inspiring. Edney has been a consistently supportive and motivating presence throughout my journey — professional, empathetic and genuinely invested in helping me make progress. As one of the pilot participants, I had the privilege of working with a tailored team of MNS Experts — from fitness coaches to cognitive therapists — all contributing unique insight and expertise. Understandably, there were a few teething and technical issues along the way (as you’d expect from a pioneering platform in its early stages), but these never detracted from the value of the programme itself. The concept behind My New Self is truly fantastic — an integrated, evidence-based approach to wellbeing that connects mind and body in a practical, personalised way. I look forward to seeing how the team refines the video content, CRM and AI technologies to enhance delivery even further. Once these developments are in place, I would absolutely love to revisit the programme and experience its full potential. In short: a brilliant concept, an outstanding team, and a platform with enormous promise.

Generally my experience was positive. The exceptions were the pre -op appointment when I was left waiting and then felt the nurse was patronising. I also decided not to stay in after my operation as I was left without pain relief. I asked for some about 5 hours after the procedure and they agreed it but left me without it and my husband had to chase it. The pharmacy team visited me within a few hours and left a bag of medicines but offered no guidance. Otherwise, everything else was really good. The reception team have always been friendly and helpful. The male nurse who prepared me for the operation was absolutely lovely as were the anaesthetic team. The physiotherapist gave me lots of very helpful information and visited me a couple of times. Her care was excellent. My Consultant was fantastic.

My acupuncture appointments at mums were with Zahra, I have had about 6/7 sessions with her, every week or 2 weeks. I have noticed a huge improvement in symptoms of chronic back pain and stress levels, I have fibromyalgia and these appointments have really allowed for me to notice and learn my triggers, emotional or physical. I have been able to talk to Zahra about my experience of the week at each appointment and talk about the changes I’ve seen not only in lower pain levels but in mental clams and clarity too. This in turns will aid my fertility journey as the body and nervous system has regulated greatly and my menstrual cycles have developed a healthy constant rhythm in terms of length and flow. I would recommend this to anyone that was struggling with issues similar to mine.

When I first started seeing Mai, I was struggling with high levels of anxiety and feeling a huge sense of despair. Through the sessions and support I have received, I am a different person to the one who first asked for help 3 months ago. Mai instantly made me feel at ease and her non-judgemental approach meant that I felt very comfortable in showing my most vulnerable, raw emotions. Every session had a clear aim and objective which was mutually agreed upon and I left each appointment with specific and tangible strategies that I could apply to my situation. I cannot thank her enough for the help I have received.

Was booked for a diagnostic procedure at the Weymouth Street Hospital. 5 days before the operation, the surgeon said he needed additional tests which couldn't be completed in time. The appointment was cancelled: 80% refund due. Four emails asking for a refund: no response. One formal complaint letter by recorded delivery: no response. One "letter before court action" (initiating what used to be the small claims court procedure): payment! Payment was "accidentally" rounded down to the nearest hundred pounds. Yet another email and I finally received the full refund five weeks after the cancellation.

I booked a Women's Health Check and had the pleasure of being seen by Dr Emma Sloan. I felt totally comfortable with Dr Sloan, who was kind, considerate and very easy to talk to. A couple of weeks after my appointment I received all my test results and a really detailed and comprehensive report with a lot of advice on what I could do to ensure I stay healthly. A couple of of test results were slightly abnormal and I was able to follow this up with my GP when I showed her the report. I will definitely do this again. Thank you!

I would first like to say it was SIMPLY MAGIC ! Fantastic Operation by Mr Gok Ratnarajan on Both Eyes which i would recommend to others. The process was easy and both eyes were done in only 40 mins. Mr Gok Ratnarajan the surgeon was clear with his communication and has a professional calming approach explaining each step clearly. Also, the Team were professional and clear on processes and further post operation steps. Finally i wouldn't hesitate in recommending Mr Gok Ratnarajan and his team.

I recently attended the Horder Centre for my hip replacement with Mr Skyrme. Despite being nervous about the procedure I can’t thank Mr Skyrme and the excellent team enough for putting me at ease and for the care they provided My surgery has been very successful and two weeks on I have been amazed at the speed of my recovery. My hip pain has gone and doing the prescribed exercises daily I feel I’m getting stronger every day.

I honestly can’t thank Amir enough! I went to see him with horrible wrist pain, and somehow he figured out the real problem just by looking and examining it. It was actually a nerve in my forearm. He worked on it with some massage and, more importantly, showed me exactly what to do at home. I only had one session with him and by following his advice, the pain completely disappeared!
