Mr Keenan was very helpful and clarified all of my concerns about what I should or should not be doing. He appeared to be genuinely interested in how I was progressing. He showed me an x-ray of my hip and told me there was a small amount of wear on the other hip, to keep an eye on it, and, if it bothered me, then I should get on the waiting list sooner rather than later. In view of my advancing years I believe that was very good advice. Personally I believe I was very lucky to have been a patient of Mr Keenan, he was extremely professional in every way and I could not be any more happy about the operation, the care and the outcome, though I must admit I was quite fearful right up until the mask was put over my face! I feel a million percent better as a result of the hip replacement and there was no pain whatsoever. I walk better now than I have done for many years. Thank you Mr Keenan.

I was struggling to get a face to face appoinment with my NHS GP. Filling out their triage forms where tick boxes didn’t cover half my symptoms and not enough room in the comments to describe my issues and concerns was getting me nowhere. So I decided to go private. Daleswood was recommended to me by a friend. I was happy to pay for a 30min consultation where I could go through the history and symptoms I was experiencing. It was well worth it, blood tests were recommended and a diagnosis made that explained all the symptoms not just one or two. I was so relieved to finally have been listened to and believed. Not just told ‘we only deal with one thing at a time’

My experience of this appointment was genuinely five-star. The procedure I had was performed by Vicky with meticulous care. The clinic gives a luxurious atmosphere making you feel at ease the minute you walk through the door. The staff at VB health from the reception area to the practitioners are very friendly, warm professional and very knowledgeable. You are made to feel completely at ease and well informed about the treatment I was having. I cannot recommend VB Health highly enough this is definitely the only place to go for treatments. I had an injury last year on my left calf alongside recurring main in my right foot so wanted to get them checked. Dr Lord effectively assessed my calf, showed a very small tear, and then looked at my feet and told me there’s minor thickening in one of the tendons, which wouldn’t require any intervention but recommended physio for both including some effective stretching. Now I’ve got my report I can give to my physio and monitor it more effectively ACTUALLY knowing what’s wrong.

As an elderly gentleman, I made an appointment with Mr Karuppaiah following a nasty fall in which I severely damaged my wrist and elbow. His attention to detail was very reassuring and my personal concerns were always discussed, with no question too small. He has a reassuring presence and gentle approach. No doubt my successful operation and recovery was down to his surgical stills and knowledge. I cannot recommend Mr Karuppaiah highly enough ‘what an excellent surgeon’.

I felt confident from the first consultation with Mr Youssef. I felt he engaged with me patiently and on my level ( I’ve got some medical background) and explained the diagnosis and treatment plans clearly and objectively. It made a big difference to any potential anxiety and concerns that he was very kind and amiable and I would not hesitate to recommend him for breast cancer consultation. I’m five days post-op and happy with my treatment from day one.

In general, their service is excellent and easy to navigate. The only minor inconvenience is a small systems organisation issue. Data collection forms are sent as soon as follow-up appointments are scheduled (6 months in advance), and so the information would be out of date if completed at this stage. A workaround is to email for a new form link shortly before the appointment date, and to their credit they are always happy to comply with this.

Arrived in good time but parking was appalling. No toilet in the temporary scanner, so had to find another in main building. Was a little out of breath in return and was sent straight in. Told to stay still, but was still breathing a little hard which wasn’t taken into account. The staff were pleasant but seemed to give up on me when I couldn’t hear instructions through the headphones (I had been told to wear ear protection buds underneath).

I was extremely impressed with Chantal. I had had a bit of a hard time with a failed root canal and waited quite a bit for the extraction. It was handled swiftly and sensitively. In particular I appreciated the gentle nurse of birth Chantal, and her assistant. During the extraction, I also really value you having everything explained to me upfront and also during the procedure having commentary as it helps me understand what is going on.
