I came to KT with an ongoing pain in my glute from running. I had been to another physio for months with no improvement and was feeling quite helpless. She immediately diagnosed it as Deep Glute Syndrome and reassured me that we could treat it. She put me at ease straight away and I could tell that I was in safe hands, and with someone who was incredibly skilled and loved what they do. Her knowledge and experience is so impressive. I also had some lower back issues which she helped me with massively (I’ve had these for years). She helped make a plan for recovery that suited my lifestyle and other exercise to make sure I could continue exercising. She often provided manual therapy which was brilliant too. She was always checking in with me and working to make eveything tailored for me. She was always available by email. She is incredibly kind and always made me feel comfortable and heard which I hadn’t had this before from other physio treatment. She also considered that I was funding the treatment myself and discussed this with me. I genuinely can’t praise KT enough, and would recommend her to anyone with sports injuries. I don’t have the words to thank her for her help and support.

I had a recent admission for a Discectomy under the care of Mr Manoj-Thomas. The entire experience from initial appointment to the actual surgery was just over 6 weeks. During this time I received regular communication to prepare me for my surgery. I was overwhelmed by the high standard of care I received as an in patient from the nursing and medical team. All professionals were courteous calm and maintained my dignity and trust during an anxious time and I am incredibly grateful. My follow up care is continuing and I was very impressed with the phone call I received 2 days post discharge to ensure I was continuing to recover. St Joseph’s epitomises the experience all patients should receive irrespective of whether they are private or NHS patients. Thank you so much.

Dr Laura takes her time to explain everything to me, and she even manages to teach me some medical stuff considering I am a medical student! She is always keen to involve my family and ensure I am fully supported. She has helped me navigate several gynaecology conditions that I have recently been investigated for and diagnosed with. She continues to follow up with me and ensure I am well looked after. She looks at me from head to toe and listens to each of my concerns, no matter what they are, with compassion. She is a true angel who I was blessed with to have as my doctor. I will always sing her praises she is truly phenomenal. I am beyond lucky to have her looking after me. She is my inspiration for when I graduate and become a doctor.

I have been treated at MansMatters clinic for Peyronies. I must admit I was very skeptical about the treatment offered, as I'm sure a lot of men in my position are. Check in and pre op preparations were fast and efficient. Post op was also good, however, as I suffer from vertigo, there didn't seem to be any medical help available for this condition. I suffered with severe symptoms following anaesthetic. I was supposed to receive a text message the day before my op to confirm, but that didn't happen. When I found the Spencer carpark, I was refused barrier entry as apparently I should have been given a barrier gate code, but I didn't receive it. So this part of my experience was stressful.

I had all the information about my condition and the procedure explained in detail along with all my questions answered in detail. I would also like to comment on Mr Davies surgical skills, I’m super impressed with the neatness of the scar tissue and the dressings applied post surgery. I would absolutely recommend Mr Davies.

My visit was disappointing but not due to Professor Douek but the fact that another department decided to over rule a decision made by the professor and cancelled an appointment previous to this one which means that I will need to take time out again to visit but also wasted an appointment time someone else could have had. Professor Douek was apologetic and sincere and did still complete an examination. Very professional.

Mr Bhayani was excellent, he answered my concerns and described my options moving forward in a detailed manner which was kind, friendly and empathetic at no point was I rushed, no questions were to much trouble, it was a great experience from which I learned a great deal about my condition I will continue to visit Mr Bhayani and use this clinic and would recommend it to anyone with concerns about eye health. After my original consultation with a orthopaedic surgeon at a physiotherapy clinic in Doncaster, he wanted to put me on his list. He said I could have a new knee and be fit for Christmas. I said. I want Mr Haslam to operate on my right knee..I trust him. I haven't had any issues with my left knee. He operated on my friends Son's torn ligamentes. He'll br back playing Rugby again soon. Mr Paul Haslam is a genius

My latest visit was to update my situation after the results of my heart. MRI scan had been received.. thankfully it was all good news. Dr Garg explained everything to me. He, outlined the plans for my care going forward., a change in medication and he will arrange a routine update in clinic in about three months time, plus another scan. Very pleased, relieved following my visit to see the doctor.

First time at Reflex 18 and had had good reports from Colchester Harriers. Was seen by Josh Harvey who went through my running history and then took a look at two niggles (ankle and knee). It was great to go through some of the rehab exercises with Josh to make sure I was confident to do these at home. All in all an great experience and Id have no hesitation in recommending Reflex 18 to others.

I had to have 4 visits to get a crown fitted on a rear tooth. Hours after the first temporary crown was fitted it fell off. I attended the surgery the following day to have a second temporary crown fitted but was not informed that, as it was a different Dentist, this would incur a separate charge which is not good practice. This second temporary crown also fell off after a couple of days.

I cannot recommend Dr Lord enough! I went to her today after months of worrying about recurrent thrush and a very long list of my worries to share. She listened to every single thing I had to say and at no point did I feel rushed. I've left with an action plan and feel confident and happy again. My mind is at ease which is worth any cost!
