I had the privilege of being under the care of Dr Saad, Consultant Breast Surgeon, and I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional standard of care she provided throughout my treatment journey. From our very first appointment, Dr Saad showed a blend of clinical expertise, empathy, and genuine warmth. She took the time to understand my fears and never once dismissed them. Instead, she talked me through each procedure with clarity and patience, helping me work through my anxieties in a way that made me feel informed and supported. One of the things I appreciated most was her commitment to ensuring I never had to wait longer than necessary for answers. She arranged tests promptly and worked closely with other departments to fast‑track appointments wherever possible. She was also incredibly flexible, coordinating everything around my work schedule so that the process felt manageable rather than overwhelming. Dr Saad built a wonderful rapport not only with me but also with the family members who accompanied me. She made us all feel welcome, encouraged open conversation, and created an environment where concerns could be shared without hesitation. Her friendly disposition and great sense of humour meant I genuinely looked forward to seeing her — something I never expected to say about medical appointments. Her thoroughness was exceptional. When an initial ultrasound didn’t match her own clinical findings, she didn’t simply close the case. She pursued further investigation to ensure nothing was overlooked, and that level of diligence gave me enormous confidence in her judgement. She also made sure I had full access to my results, providing printed copies and emailing them to me so I could review everything afterwards. It was clear she wanted me to feel informed, empowered, and in control of my own care. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr Saad to anyone seeking breast care. I felt heard, respected, and genuinely cared for at every stage. She is an exceptional surgeon and an exceptional person.

I had been suffering with problems with my eyes for over 6 months. I have glaucoma which is managed by medication in the form of drops. I was told that my current problems were not connected to the glaucoma but it was assumed by all of the eye specialist that it was due to blepharitis. I was being seen by my GP, by a specialist clinic, as well as my NHS hospital eye clinic. I received many different treatments but nothing made a difference to my condition. The conclusion was that I would need an operation for ‘ectropion’, this condition had developed over this 6 month period with the lower lid on both eyes sagging away from the eye. During all of this time my eye lids were swollen and very sore, the skin around my eyes was red and extremely unsightly. I felt so awful that I really didn’t want to go out and be seen. Due to the amount of time that I would need to wait for the operation I decided to look at the private sector. I found Miss Baldwin by looking online. I felt that a female may just understand the impact of my current problem. As soon as she saw me she certainly did understand and was appropriately sympathetic. She told me that I would not need an operation, and my symptoms were as a result of a severe allergic reaction to my glaucoma meds. She advised me that I should stop them immediately and prescribed medication to deal with the symptoms. Within 2 days my eyes were looking better. Two weeks later all signs of ectropion have disappeared. Had I not found Miss Baldwin I would be continuing to suffer and ultimately I may have undergone a completely unnecessary operation. I cannot recommend her high enough. Personally I have so much to thank her for.

I had a Teams meeting today with Angela about my nutrition, as I’m looking for ways to gain weight. She was completely non judgemental, incredibly warm, and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole conversation. She never made me feel bad about my eating habits and was very kind and understanding in the way she worked with me. She gave me really sound advice and clear, practical feedback on how I can improve things going forward, particularly around healthy weight gain. I wasn’t sure what to expect going into the meeting. I half expected to be told to cut out lots of foods and start eating things I didn’t like but instead, she took the time to understand what I like and don’t like to eat. Overall, she was extremely helpful, supportive, and approachable, and I genuinely appreciated the session. I thought she was great.

I arrived early, as I was expecting to be seen in time, but my appointment was late ~45mins. I had discussed on the phone that I wanted to see someone who is going to be helpful with discussing menopause and other related issues. I was paying for the appointment myself, so I had high expectations. Unfortunately the time with the doctor felt rushed and I felt not heard. I had done a lot of research on holistic menopause care, and I felt that the doctor wasn’t in the same wave length with me. I was just advised to go and read more on menopause in two different websites. Examination was fine and straight forward, but to be sure of the diagnosis I will need futher procedures.

So I wasn’t made ware how drastic the set up would be for my 2.5 year old toddler - actually quite a scary thing to deal with for such a small person, and had I’d known I would have managed him better leading up to it. I also had to calibrate a lead in middle of the night, and the surgical tape used did not come off easily so as you can imagine he was screaming when I was taking off the leads in the morning and there wasn’t any help with this - on his face/hair etc so it was very painful for him - it was actually horrible. Please give some ‘Eaze off’ to patients - or warn patients about this.

Also the consultant that did both my ultrasounds was fabulous too. They made me feel nothing was too much of a problem, made me feel l could come at anytime. I visited the Evelina with my 15yr old daughter for an operation for her abdominal/umbilical hernia. Dr Thakkar gave us a brilliant explanation as to what he was going to do during the surgery and also spoke to us after and told us exactly what he did. He really helped out my daughters mind at ease, and really understood that she just wanted to be 'normal'. His work was outstanding and now that my daughter has healed from the operation her self confidence has already improved and I cannot thank Dr Thakkar enough for that.

I came to see Antonia for a makeover smile everything was explained in my last appointment and a price plan that we went through together. My appointment lasted 2 hours was seen straight away with a lovely welcome as always, also her male nurse was very nice and understood everything that she needed to hand. she talked me through each procedure. Very professional I now have a natural looking makeover smile my front teeth weren’t that bad but needed cosmetic correcting and that’s what I have now.

I visited the clinic to discuss removal of a lesion on my eyelid. Having spoken to the consultant Mt Murray I decided to have it removed. I returned two weeks later to have the surgery. All the staff were very supportive and took time to explain the whole procedure to me. In particular Jenny took great care of me and made sure I felt as relaxed as I could be. Everything went to plan and I would like to thank everybody that was involved.
