A bad first impression: I arrived as requested at 7:30 to find no staff in Reception and the whole area in darkness! After about 10 , mins a nurse arrived to take us through to the ward. I had been told by the nurse on the phone doing the pre-op check that I was first on the list. However on the day I was told I was 6th, but suspect there were more than 5 people in front of me, as I was not taken downstairs for the procedure until 1about 11:30.. The problem for me was that I was very nervous and the unexpected delay made me very anxious. During my time in Room 19 the male nurse (?) looking after me did an excellent job, trying to reassure me as well as doing all the necessary preparation. Once I got to the operating theatre everyone was pleasant, efficient and friendly, The sedation was effective and the experience much less unpleasant that the retinal tear repair I had had at Moorfields about 10 years ago. I am now in a much better state to face the procedure on the 2nd eve in a few days time.

Upon arriving at Genesis care I was impressed by its warm, friendly and immaculate environment. The little touches like a jigsaw for patients to work on and the endless offers of coffee and biscuits were appreciated. The Staff and radiographers were incredibly professional and so very pleasant. They quickly put my mind at rest. They were really focused on making sure I was ok during the whole treatment journey. While undergoing treatment I got to meet a Penny Brohn counsellor which was very much appreciated as cancer and its treatment can be a very challenging time. Last but not least the addition of a fleet of drivers that took me to every appointment, waited for me, and drove me home was a real comfort. The drivers, like all the staff, were so friendly and chatted to me in a way that relaxed me and helped me feel calmer upon arrival. Cancer is a tough journey but everyone at Genesis Care made it much easier in so many ways. I cannot recommend the entire team, that make it work flawlessly, highly enough.

Miss Yasemin Tavsanoglu

I have been seeing Yasemin for years and cannot recommend her highly enough. I have seen her for Botox/Profihlo treatments and the results have been nothing short of exceptional. Everything she does looks incredibly natural—never overdone—just a fresher, healthier version of me. The results last beautifully, and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my face. She is an absolute pleasure to visit: warm, reassuring, and truly skilled. Her precision and professionalism are unmatched, and she always takes the time to listen to my wishes and concerns. I also really appreciate her follow-up care; it shows how much she genuinely cares about her patients. If you’re looking for subtle, natural, long-lasting results, I cannot recommend her highly enough. More recently I have also seen her for a small surgical procedure, to remove a suspicious mole. Again, she operated on me with the utmost care and I couldn’t have asked for a better result.

This was my first visit to this lovely private GP practice. Lots of parking and ground floor facility was the first tick. Lovely big bright windows another tick creating brightness in what is usually not available in most other medical establishments. No sooner on the door I was greeted with smiles and courtesy from the lovely, friendly receptionists who welcomed me and offered me refreshments. Plenty of books and magazines if I wanted but didn't need them as I was taken at my exact appointment time, another big tick. My GP, Dr Fiona Moore came out to greet me and as I'd completed an online form with my reason for attending she was on the ball with what was required. She was so relaxed and friendly I felt like I'd known her for a long time and I felt at ease answering any questions. Having examined me she knew what the issue was and reassured me. Overall a brilliant experience.

I had a recent admission for a Discectomy under the care of Mr Manoj-Thomas. The entire experience from initial appointment to the actual surgery was just over 6 weeks. During this time I received regular communication to prepare me for my surgery. I was overwhelmed by the high standard of care I received as an in patient from the nursing and medical team. All professionals were courteous calm and maintained my dignity and trust during an anxious time and I am incredibly grateful. My follow up care is continuing and I was very impressed with the phone call I received 2 days post discharge to ensure I was continuing to recover. St Joseph’s epitomises the experience all patients should receive irrespective of whether they are private or NHS patients. Thank you so much.

My teen daughter has been under the care of Dr Zakynthinaki for the last 3 months for autistic burnout alongside low mood and anxiety. Dr Zakynthinaki has been wonderful in so many ways - she's empathetic with my daughter and with me, she listens and she's been incredibly responsive to our questions. She explains things so well and in a lot of detail, which I really appreciate. It's so refreshing to come across a specialist who's willing to work with a patient so diligently and with so much care - who can offer not only the clinical experience, but is also very patient-focussed. I feel we are both seen and heard by her. If you are looking for support for your child / adolescent, particularly if they are neurodiverse, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr Zakynthinaki!

Very pleasing experience. I was given plenty of time, and had a thorough examination of my ears, with the removal of wax, followed by a full hearing test. I returned a couple of weeks later, and having been shown several different hearing aids, went for ones that fit into the ear, with no wires or pieces behind the ear. I now have them on a months trial to see how I get on with them. I was quoted a price, which I understand I will pay if these are the correct ones for me, but only when I am totally satisfied. There is then a 3 monthly check included in the price. I believe I can try others if these are not right for me, and Mr Clive who I saw, was most helpful and understanding of a lady who hated the idea of wearing hearing aids!

I almost don’t know where to start. From my first meeting, I was filled with confidence, and felt at ease. This was my second total knee replacement, the first one (with a different consultant) had been quite difficult due to no one’s fault. My second knee with Mr Barksfield could not have been mare different. I am now 8 weeks post op and have virtually no pain, can walk normally and feel like I did 6-8 years ago. Stairs are a breeze, I can walk normally up and down slopes and intend to play golf this weekend. I could not be more delighted with the outcome. A massive thank you to Mr Barksfield and his team.

Dr zgan was brilliant explained everything. Think he got a shock knowing a already had an operation on nose. And told me what had happened with thst healing process. While attending Dr zgan I had other issues going on and held back surgery until the other stuff got sorted which I knew would happen. The next day after operation the nose and ear was back to normal. The feeling I had had gone thankfully. Even explained ager surgery what he dad to do. Must say Dr zygan is brilliant doctor. Thank you very much Dr zgan appreciate what you did for me. I usually feel quite embarrassed and anxious about gynecology appointments, but my experience with Dr. Priyanka Patel and the staff was truly amazing. From the moment I arrived, everyone made me feel at ease and treated me with so much kindness and respect. Dr. Patel was incredibly gentle, patient, and understanding. She took the time to walk me through the entire procedure step by step, which really helped calm my nerves and made me feel comfortable and in control.
