I initially booked a half hour consultation having suffered from acute urinary retention and therefore 3 months use of a catheter due to Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia. I found Mr Su-Min Lee very easy to talk to as he has a great sense of humour which put me at ease. He took time to explain the options available to me and let me decide on the best course of action. He was very informative and I didn't feel rushed at all. A couple of days later I decided to go ahead with a Holep operation. I paid to have this privately in my local NHS hospital, Southmead in Bristol. I was offered a date that was about 3 weeks after my initial consultation. He met me again on the morning the surgery to put me at ease and the treatment that I received from the medical team at the hospital was very good. It is now 6 weeks post operation and as far as I am concerned it was a success. My urinary issues are resolved with the exception of the expected slight bit of stress incontinence which is improving daily.

Parking my car and finding the places I needed to be was a nightmare. I was afvised to leave the car in car park C which did not exist and it took me 30mins to realise it was the public car park. My instructions talked about east and west wings which no longer exist - i think maybe its now zones but did not help that C25 was not the same as ward it was ward 23. I had to talk my friend in when she came to collect me. I know the hospital is unders change but I constantly met peope who were also toally lost. The apt letter was sent by someone from Dorchestrer who obviously had no Idea that his instructions no longer applied

De Hughhes has provided excellent care before and after procedures on my ear and nose. The overall experience has been positive and my day to day life has been improved after the intervention. I never felt rushed or pushed to go for the procedure which I loved. Rather he was open to follow some steps before deciding on surgical intervention. I was concerned about the risk of stroke or heart attack as my father had died at 52. I am now 70 and very active and thought perhaps that increased my risk. Dr Hammersley was extremely thorough in the questions he asked about my lifestyle, any symptoms, family history and recommended various blood tests, blood pressure readings and reviewed previous ECG’s and echocardiograms as I had previously had an issue with my heart rhythm. I have a great deal of confidence in his conclusions which were understandable to a non medical person.

Dr Rajiv Sood was amazing. I struggled to get my 5month baby eczema under control. Went to the GP many times but no improvement. After our consultation with Dr Sood he explained what eczema was and gave us a prescription and explained how to manage the eczema. After using the cream we noticed a big difference within 24 hours. Dr Sood explained how to manage the flare ups. Honestly I would recommend Dr Sood such an amazing caring doctor who truely cares for his patients. As a mother I cannot thank Dr Sood enough.

I waited longer than usual for my appointment but Mr Sharma was very apologetic. He examined and more importantly listened to me about my concerns. The follow up letter arrived promptly so action could be taken. He gave me a referral for an appointment to have steroid injection which I obtained within 24 hrs. Sadly the referral letter had a couple of mistakes but these were rectified very quickly. Very impressed with the process and we are all individuals so mistakes can happen.

This is a truly excellent service. I had been to another ear wax removal specialist a few days earlier who had failed to unblock my ears after half an hour of trying. I have a particular shape of ear canal that causes the wax to sit stubbornly on the ear drum. Rekesh is very personable and knowledgable and has a lovely comfortable treatment room. Within a few minutes he had completely unblocked both my ears, almost effortlessly. I was delighted and I highly recommend this service.

Facility was excellent, nice and clean as well as lovely and quiet. Instructions weee clear, and the receptionist was extremely friendly, as were the nursing staff I saw. The surgeon I spoke to was excellent, everything was explained and he was more than happy to explain things in more detail if I required, and I didn’t feel pressured to leave, as if I was taking too much of his time. My overall experience was excellent, I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

I underwent a shoulder operation on the 17th November. I was treated with respect and kindness throughout: the room I was allocated for the day was clean, tidy and comfortable as was the bathroom. The post-operative tuna sandwich was delicious! All the staff were excellent, including admin staff, nurses, physios, anaesthetists and my surgeon, Mr Jahnich. The followup care has also been excellent, with especial praise to my physio, Chris.

Excellent experience from start to finish for my CT guided nerve block injection. All staff were extremely professional and demonstrated high levels of empathy. Even though the doctor was delayed, the staff kept me updated and ensured I was feeling comfortable. Communal areas nice and welcoming with interesting art on the walls. Not quite as chilled as my last visit, as there were more people around, and some mildly distracting muzak in the background.
