I’ve been seeing Hiba Ansari for over a year, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. She is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely caring. Over the past year, Hiba has helped me treat several different issues, including my ankle, lower back, and most importantly, a long-standing shoulder dislocation problem. She monitored my progress very closely and consistently adjusted my exercises to suit my ability and recovery stage. I spent several months working with her to strengthen my shoulder, which was extremely weak and unstable after multiple dislocations. Following my shoulder surgery, Hiba played a huge role in my rehabilitation. She guided me through recovery and re-strengthening with great care and precision, helping me return to normal activities and sports with confidence. Thanks to her support, I’m now back to living a normal, active life without constant worry. She was also incredibly supportive with practical matters, helping me navigate insurance issues and sort out payment coverage for my sessions, which made a stressful situation much easier. In addition, Hiba has excellent professional connections and introduced me to one of the top shoulder surgeons in the UK, who performed my operation with excellent results. Hiba is a fantastic physiotherapist — skilled, supportive, and truly invested in her patients’ recovery. I’m very grateful for all her help.

After seriously injuring both ankles and a long recovery, it was a complete game changer when I started treatment with my physio Steph. She was friendly and professional and quickly put me at my ease. Steph was both flexible and methodical in her approach, measuring my progress, returning to exercises regularly, which I found helpful in maintaining my focus and my momentum. Steph was responsive and adjusted exercises where necessary but generally this was not needed as she pitched the pace and level of activity to be suitably challenging. Steph was goal orientated, encouraging and solution focused. It felt like I had a clear pathway to recovery and that Steph was really committed to my well-being and focused on helping me get the best outcomes. The centre have a range of treatments available including massage, podiatry and Pilates classes so that I could benefit from a holistic approach to my injuries. Steph has explained things well to me as we have gone along so that I have understood the rationale which I have really appreciated. Her expertise and care have been a huge positive during a difficult time. Thank you to Steph and all the team, I would highly recommend The Medical.

Overall experience was poor. After initial consultation I had little or no contact with the hospital, any contact was initiated by myself. Clear lack of communication between departments. I had already paid for my procedure and waiting for a surgery slot. Surgery was scheduled for a Wednesday but received a call the Friday before basically saying if I didnt drive up that day and do a blood test, the operation couldn't go ahead. Luckily I was in a position where I could do that but imagine if I had kids, couldn't get out of work, had no car/transport. The list goes on. The actual surgery seems to have gone well. (1 week post op). But.... the whole experience was pretty poor, no, very poor. I'd have been upset if this was the NHS but this was a privately paid procedure and if it wasn't for the fact that I had already booked time off work, staff cover, kennels for my Cane Corso's (which wasn't cheap) I genuinely would have asked for my money back and gone somewhere else.

Dr Sood and his team were absolutely fantastic in the care they provided my 1 year old daughter. As a qualified paediatric nurse there was nothing more I could ask of him and his team. He explained everything perfectly so that both me and my partner (who does not have a medical background) understood perfectly. He also gave us a good understanding of all our options, detailing positives and negatives of each so we could make an informed decision on our child's care. The team have excellent attention to detail when it comes to the care of children to make even the most undesirable of tasks (like blood tests) run smoothly with the least amount if distress to parent and child. Thank you so much for the care you have provided.

I always find the receptionists at The Holly difficult to deal with. The booking in experience is poor as one often has to wait for ages whilst the receptionists are on the phone or chatting or apparently doing something on their computers. It is a pity as the doctors and nurses and other staff including the porters at The Holly are extremely good. The receptionists in both the outpatients area and the scan receptionists need better training and better management. I would say however that the GP area receptionists and the front desk receptionists are very nice and very helpful so I have no issues with them.

Dr Al- Dadah has been very helpful and kind every step of the way. I had a meniscus tear. He did the MRI and shared informed alternative course of action. We agreed to do a steroid injection to manage the pain and booked a surgery to “tidy up” the meniscus. The Dr team was very kind and answered promptly all my questions ( pre op jitters), giving me amazing reassurance. The operation ran smoothly and 2 weeks later I got the stitches removed. Almost 95% mobility back already and pain free.

My procedure was a day case and regardless of that I was given a private room which was very spacious and clean. All nurses and staff I came across and who took care of me were really kind and friendly. My allocated nurse and physiotherapist were really nice and explained everything I needed to know in terms of medications and post-operative recovery. Overall, I had a fantastic experience!

I visited Dr. Omar at Lewisham Hospital’s UTC and Dr. Omar asked how I was and made sure I felt comfortable. Dr. Omar helped me by immediately diagnosis the issue in my right ear which was an ear infection causing hearing loss. Dr. Omar was incredibly helpful in pointing me in the right direction as to what to do, how to take my antibiotics, and where to collect them. Thank you Dr. Omar!

The two appointments I had were very useful in determining the problem. The ultrasound scan provided me with a good understanding of the muscles/tendons involved. The clinic needs to make it possible to reply to emails from the clinic. . It’s not clear where the private department is (or any other) as no reception desk at hospital entrance (only a security man on other duties). When in 2nd floor private area do not expect trappings of luxury or flashy equipment. You do get kindness, attentiveness and skill and efficiency. Came out with problem fixed. No cafe.

The nurse was also very lovely and I felt they both took the time to explain the procedure and what they were doing each step of the way. The reception staff are always so welcoming and helpful.
