I have been a patient of Dr. Urquhart for several years while working through the long-term effects of complex trauma, late diagnosed neurodivergence and profound life challenges. Through analytical psychotherapy and EMDR, he has helped me find steadiness during some of the most difficult periods of my life. His ability to understand what lies beneath the surface, to hear what isn’t said and recognise what others miss, has been central to my progress. Our work together has also helped me uncover the root causes of physical symptoms I had struggled with for most of my adult life, which no medical practitioner had ever been able to explain. Since addressing these issues in therapy, these episodes have significantly reduced. What I value most is his calm, steady presence and his deep understanding of human needs. Perhaps for the first time in my life, I'm beginning to meet myself, and learning to accept myself for who I am. The transition to Mourne Private Clinic has been seamless. The staff are warm, organised and professional, creating an environment that supports the therapeutic work beautifully. I would highly recommend Dr. Urquhart and the clinic to anyone seeking thoughtful, skilled and compassionate care. And, finally, there is no shame in therapy. On the outside I look like anyone else, living a seemingly ordinary life, but reaching out for support has been one of the most life-changing decisions I have ever made.

Had a very warm welcoming at Abbington house, staff and peers were very nice. Room was nice, quite overwhelming to start with, with it being my first time at rehab. I then started to feel more comfortable with the help of the staff and my peers, putting me out of my comfort zone probably was the best thing they could of done otherwise I wouldn’t of been so open. Staff very accommodating, my therapist was very empathetic, I got on with her very well, opened up slowly but eventually we got there. I still feel I have stuff to work on, my co dependency and self love but I know that will come in time, from outside sources, just think they should not of mentioned that I would be getting DBT therapy whilst I was here as that was one of the selling points to me coming to Abbington house. The only other down side was prior to coming in I was told I would have at least one, one to one a week. But that did not happen for the the first 3 weeks, so felt a bit let down, so did my parents which they then raised there concerned to Mikey, who was quick to come up with 2 options to compensate this, which I thought was very good.

Highly recommend this hospital! The staff at Highgate Hospital are absolutely lovely kind, professional, and genuinely caring from the moment you walk through the doors. The entire place is spotless everything feels clean, organised and extremely well maintained, which immediately puts you at ease. I had a procedure done with Dr. Marshall and he is unbelievable truly an amazing doctor. His expertise, reassurance, and calm approach made the whole experience a 10/10. I couldn’t have asked for better care. Every member of staff I encountered was helpful and attentive, always willing to go above and beyond. From the nurses to the reception team, everyone made sure I was comfortable and informed throughout. I have absolutely no complaints only praise. A wonderful hospital with outstanding care. I felt put at ease right away. David took his time and made me feel that he was taking care in what he was doing. He was also good at explaining what he was doing as he worked through the procedure. He explained the risks and that it might not work and I was aware of when he had to change an approach. I appreciated that he did not just try to make it work but thought through the full outcome and what options he could try. He never came across as anything other than professional and in full control even though this was a tricky procedure due to the lack of tooth left. He also allowed me time to ask questions and didn't make me feel that I didn't need to know. The dental nurse was also very good and very calm. They worked extremely well together and I felt comfortable with the support she provided.

It's two days since I had major surgery at St Hugh's hospital in Cleethorpes. I still find my eyes tearing up with gratitude at how well they have cared for me. Their consultants are of the highest calibre. And all the staff on the wards, from nurses through to the kitchen, are a joy to witness. Their happiness at work permeates through every nook and cranny. They have looked after not just my body, but my emotions and my dignity. Major surgery is always stressful, but the aftercare I had at St Hugh's has given me a headstart in my recovery. All credit too, to the wise and judicious management in the background. Only good managers could maintain a team who are so united and happy in their jobs. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

My overall experience was fine. The problem I have is I was not measured for the compression stockings resulting in a sore behind my right knee. I also had three grooves around my left leg which fortunately have not caused me any problems. It would be helpful to future patients if more care was taken when measuring for these.stockings maybe having measurements double checked. I am having very good treatment on my sore from Lynsey who has worked wonders to help my leg heal. I would like to thank Mr Patko who did a marvellous job on my replacement hip which has given me no problems whatsoever.

Mr John Terrace was very informative from start to finish. We had a telephone consultation to go over the pathology results and ensured that I understood everything. He allowed me to ask any questions that I may have which was really great. At the end of the call he advise that he will always be my consultant and if I need anything again to get in contact. I have been on a journey with Dr Mohan starting in mid 2021 following a heart bypass operation. I started seeing Dr Mohan relating to my asthmatic/breathing issues/problems that became complicated because of my heart bypass. Since then he has helped by listening to my concerns problems and has objectively and sensibly tried me on various related drugs that have helped improve my lung capacity and improve my asthma I continue to see him as each time we tweak little things that help to improve my health

Steve Bonsor and his team were excellent throughout the process. Can’t compliment all the staff and the service provided enough, thoroughly satisfied customer.

It was average. £380 for a 30 min appointment in a Knightsbridge mansion... Disappointing not to be offered any water or tea/coffee whilst waiting and being told to arrive 30 minutes before. Was expecting a high-end service. Felt very basic and outdated, but I cannot fault the clinical service and everyone was friendly. Just feels like a complete rip-off and completely out of proportion cost.

It included an X ray scan to assess recovery in the affected area, along with a general review of the movement in my leg and ankle. I was met by a nurse who took care of me throughout and dealt out the eye drops prior to the operation. The surgeon introduced himself to me and was reassuring before and during the op. He was aware my eye was stinging from the drops and waited until further numbing drops took effect before operating. He also kept reassuring me whilst dealing with the cataract.
