When booking the consultation with Nick Panay, the earliest available date was 2 months in advance. I was required to pay the full £395 under pressure at time, being told that the consultation would be lost unless I paid by 5pm. My understanding that this appointment would be for specialist, in-depth input tailored to a complex clinical history. Given that context, I was disappointed that the consultation felt limited to a reiteration of guideline-based recommendations, with little opportunity to explore causation, individual nuance, or the specific questions I had prepared. At several points during the consultation, I felt that my questions were closed down rather than explored, and the overall tone felt more directive than supportive. Given my long and complex medical history, I had hoped for a more compassionate and collaborative approach. Instead, I left the consultation feeling unheard and dismissed, which was distressing. I had hoped for greater depth and collaborative discussion, particularly in light of the significant upfront cost. I was given no additional value beyond what I already knew and was told in any case, that I required a further consultation to finalise a treatment plan. I have been in contact with the practice and explained that the consultation did not meet the reasonable expectations set by the cost, structure, or positioning of this service. I appreciate that since, I have received a considered response from the Practice Manager and the consultation and fee are being reviewed.

We went today for our gender scan. The waiting room was lovely and was nice to have a drink and biscuit whilst waiting. We were early and went in not long after our appointment time. Once in the scan the two ladies were lovely and so friendly. Our baby was being difficult and didn’t want us to see what gender they were. They checked everything else for us and did all the measurements and checks which we were grateful for. The ladies did everything they could to not have our journey wasted. I first was sent for a wee, then a walk and a hot drink. Baby was still sitting cross legged whilst cuddling the cord so told us to go shopping and then come back. Once arriving back the lady told us to sit and wait and she’ll come get us once she could. Wasn’t waiting long and went back in. Finally was able to see our babies gender. The Ladies loved seeing our baby, laughed with us about their movements as they were active and couldn’t reassure us more that our baby was happy and healthy. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. We didn’t have the best first experience with NHS but this had made up for it. Will forever recommend this place to friends and family.

I recently visited London Gynaecology to have a coil fitted with Consultant Pradnya, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. Pradnya herself was exceptional. I was so impressed with her expertise and depth of knowledge. She took the time to understand my medical history, my concerns, and the worries I had going into the appointment. That level of care made such a difference. The procedure itself was virtually painless, far better than I expected, and she even carried out a smear test at the same time so seamlessly that I barely noticed. Her calm, reassuring manner and clear explanations throughout made me feel completely safe and supported. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend Pradnya — she was absolutely brilliant. And as for London Gynaecology, I genuinely couldn’t speak highly enough about the service they provide. I left feeling well cared for, informed, and extremely grateful for the outstanding level of care I received.

I underwent a circumcision procedure after being diagnosed with a medical condition. Mr Nigam and his secretary Jessica were brilliant from the very first email response right the way through to my final review. All my questions were answered promptly and the whole process was managed in a really efficient, dignified and professional manner. My initial consult was arranged within 48 hours of my first enquiry email, and after informing the team that managing this was time sensitive, my treatment was booked within 10 days. I was really well prepared for what to expect and the post-op phase, and truly found that there was little/no discomfort. I'd 100% recommend Mr Nigam and Jessica for anyone in need of his expertise!

I would definitely recommend Dr. Natalie Nunes. Having a private consultation with a Black female gynecologist provided a level of reassurance I haven’t found elsewhere; I knew my concerns wouldn't be brushed aside, which has unfortunately been my experience in the past with other doctors. Dr. Natalie took the time to go through my MRI results in detail, even sharing her screen to walk my husband and me through the images—something no doctor had ever done for us before. Her dedication is unmatched; she has been incredibly responsive to all my follow-up questions, even taking the time to reply on Christmas Day! I am so grateful for her expertise and genuine care.

Mr Shakeeb Khan

I received surgery to repair a hernia at the Nuffield Hospital Bristol with Mr Khan. The operation was successful with no complications and I've now recovered. Mr Khan provided plenty of reassurance with time to ask questions prior to surgery, on the day and afterwards and the Nuffield made for much more relaxing/stress free experience than visiting a larger hospital. I would recommend him and this hospital for anyone needing this surgery.

He was able to reassure us throughout the procedure which kept everything a calm and really lovely experience. He also filmed and photographed the experience when he could. We’ve have since had a check up, where he has explained any feelings I may be having and let us ask any questions! Great experience - highly, highly recommend. 😊

Mr Hussain is clearly a highly skilled practitioner and I have nothing but respect for his performance. His manner is calm and reassuring but I found it offputting that he tends to avoid eye contact while talking and very often follows each remark with a question (eg: “…what do you think about that?”) - which is difficult for a medically unqualified person to react to sensibly.

I recommend a private appointment. Instead of a rushed NHS 10 minute experience, the doctor spends 30 minutes understanding symptoms and background.
