This assessment was one of the worst experiences I have had with a professional. I felt like I wasn’t listened to, the report completed afterwards included information that was incorrect. I.e what medication I was. During the assessment, I was asked ‘what is your goal, is it to get better or is it to take your own life?’ Whilst I understand the concept of the question I felt this was not the most appropriate way of doing so. Dr Kumar was well aware of my suicidal thoughts and my current situation prior to asking. He also asked me why I was having the assessment to which I told him I was referred by my CBT therapist as I told them I had formed a plan to take my life. Dr Kumar responded by saying that most therapists will send them for a re-assessment as it is their license on the line. This made me feel incredibly worthless and that I wasn’t deserving of help. I would never wish anyone to experience the way in which I was spoken to during my assessment and I hope no one has to go through that.

I recently had Asian blepharoplasty with Miss Ting, and I am super pleased with the results. My eyelids were uneven and the first plastic surgeon I consulted with told me it wasn’t possible to make them symmetrical. Then I found Miss Ting, a plastic surgeon specialising in eyelids! She explained that the asymmetry was because one of my eyelids had a skin fold but the other one did not, therefore to make them symmetrical she created a new skin fold in one eyelid to match the other. From start to finish, she was professional, meticulous, and reassuring. I specifically wanted my eyes to look refreshed while keeping my natural ethnic features, and Miss Ting understood exactly what I was looking for. Super happy!

I attended the clinic in order to have a steroid injection in my hip. The doctor carrying out the procedure was professional, friendly, reassuring and informative. The only slight negative was that when being referred for the procedure I was given no information regarding what to expect both during and after the procedure. Fortunately I had had a similar procedure on the NHS so was aware that the advice was not to drive so had prepared accordingly, as the doctor did ask after the procedure who was driving me home.

An excellent experience considering getting a tooth extraction . All of the staff were great . Efficient and caring and put me at ease . The extraction was tricky but confidently and expertly handled by Fiona and her assistant . I was provided with good instructions and medications for the aftercare and had no problems . I did have to wait longer than I wanted to get an appointment but it was holiday season and a specialist appointment . Well worth it and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.,

He successfully operated, but a physio caused further issues, but Mr Caesar is working hard to put that right! He has a lovely manner and very caring. He also has a fabulous secretary who supports both Mr Caesar and his patients!

I was diagnosed as needing a Hernia repair operation… a little worried as I had never had any previous surgery under a full anaesthetic. Mr Kostalas explained very clearly what would happen both before I arrived and subsequently on my arrival on the day. I was made to feel I was in safe hands and all went very smoothly. I couldn’t recommend Mr Kostalas more highly.

Ian creates an incredibly calm environment - relaxing even - and the work I've had done with him was no bother at all. It was my first root canal and I thought the experience would be so much worse. His manner and patience are exceptional. After my first appointment I told my partner if Ian wasn't such a good dentist I think he'd make a great hostage negotiator.

Extremely happy with my experience at this clinic. Had a very painful tendinopathy which has now fully healed. I was given a detailed assessment, followed by targeted exercises with 1-1 PT, soft tissue massage and a course of shockwave therapy. I am not in pain any more and I keep doing the prescribed exercises to strengthen the muscle to avoid further issues.

My whole experience with Dr Terrace and his team at Shawfair Hospital was amazing from start to finish. Everything was explained to me fully. The care I received was excellent, nothing was an inconvenience to the incredible nursing staff. I attended for a series of scans and although they took about 3 hours to complete your staff explained what was happening at each stage and so everything was fine. Whilst copies of the scans and your report was sent to my G.P. I would expect these also to be sent to me without me having to "jump through hoops" .
