I recently attended a Preconception Appointment with Mr. Adam Jakes at the clinic. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome from Gemma at reception and Mashal kindly assisted with my pre-appointment obs. The clinic itself is immaculate, modern, and beautifully presented. During the consultation, Dr Adam took the time to thoroughly review my medical history and discuss plans for baby number two. We spoke in detail about my Type 1 diabetes, its potential impact on a future pregnancy, and strategies to optimise blood sugar control beforehand. The appointment never felt rushed; Dr Adam provided clear guidance and even highlighted the progress I’ve made, which was a reassuring confidence boost. I would highly recommend Dr Adam, especially for anyone managing a medical condition. The experience was seamless, and I received comprehensive follow-up notes within just a couple of days.

Due to my individual circumstances there was some confusion in relation to payment and that spilled over onto me personally as well as causing stress across the whole procedure at the outset. This was resolved but exposes the fact that some attention needs to be paid to the way things are looked at and handles when the circumstances fall outside of the general conventions of the service provided. In the end it was all sorted out but the initial confusion and stress could have been avoided. I have no complaints but was a bit surprised at the apparent chaos at the outset. I have no idea if any one aspect was to blame, I think it was probably general confusion in relation to gaps in communication between the parties involved in payment etc.

Mr Ahmed Abou-Zeid

Mr Ahmed Abou Zeid is an excellent surgeon, who also took time to explain to me a range of issues raised by an MRI, thereby allowing me to make informed decisions. He is also friendly, approachable, and a good communicator. He carried out lumbar decompression at 2 levels of my lumbar spine, relieving the nerve compression which had been severely limiting my ability to walk more than a very short distance. He also gave me very welcome advice about other spinal issues which may arise in the future. The admin team supporting Mr Abou Zeid also offered an excellent service. I cannot thank him enough for his wealth of knowledge, experience and skills, and also for his upbeat and caring approach.

Dr James Gamble

Dr Gamble has been a real life saver from the moment he installed my pacemaker 4 months ago. A recent bacterial chest infection has caused me a setback in my open heart surgery rehabilitation, however Dr Gamble has thoroughly checked my heart and pacemaker via ECG and Echo' data and I am re-assured that I am on the mend again. He has explained the issues around my medication and I have complete faith in his guidance and recommendations. He explains things in easy to understand terms and answers honestly all queries raised. I will be booking a follow-up consultation with Dr Gamble again in 6 months time.

We have been going to the hospital for many years and seeing so many different doctors about my sons feet legs back etc. We was always told it was his collapsed archs and that he would need special insoles. We went back again and this time saw Dr Verma who told us it wasn't anything to do with his feet it was his shines and hips and showed us exactly what was the cause was. He has but us down for a scan before the next steps. We are so greatful we managed to see Dr Verma because my son could of mis diagnosed and had the wrong procedure done

This visit was to the hygienist only. She was friendly and helpful. However I found the cleaning machine very uncomforrable, although I am usually enthusiastic about new equipment. Your head is lowered very far backwards and then your mouth filled with water, I had a surprise when I went to pay. I had expected a treatment session of 30 mins but it went on for 45mins. Quite a bit of time was taken up by the hygienist recommending a particular brand of interdental brushes. I shall not br buying them.

Oh my Davide was fantastic for our gender scan. We got to see way more than we anticipated, its little arms, legs, everything was explained to us, got to hear the heartbeat and have a usb to keep the memories. I highly recommend a private scan. We are planning to come back around 26 weeks and maybe again in the 30s as it can be quite some time between scans on NHS. Honestly highly recommend, friendly, open to questions and amazingly professional! Thank you!

I saw Mr Perry twice, once following a blood test and once after an Ultrasound scan. He was very professional, clear and concise in his explanations which gave me confidence. He made suggestions going forward which he left to my discretion. I appreciated this aspect of his approach which brought me into the decision-making process on an informed basis. Overall his manner was exemplary.

He is extremely caring, studied all my past results from previous tests, explained anything I needed to know referring me for further test, arranged very quickly. I am very pleased I am under his car and have every confidence in him and his expert knowledge.
