Dr. Ayazi is a highly experienced Consultant in Pain Medicine/Management with over two
decades of clinical expertise.
He completed his medical degree at Dhaka University before undertaking specialist training in Anaesthetics and Pain Medicine between 1998 and 2007 at several leading UK institutions, including the Imperial School of Medicine, Royal Free London NHS Trust, University College London Hospital, National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore.
In 2007, Dr. Ayazi was appointed as a Consultant in Anaesthetics and Pain Medicine at the Royal Free London NHS Trust, where he served with distinction until his retirement from the NHS in 2022. He also held the position of Clinical Lead for Pain Medicine from 2012 to 2015.
Since retiring from the NHS, Dr. Ayazi has continued his work in the private sector, providing holistic and comprehensive assessment and management of acute and chronic pain conditions. His areas of expertise include complex Back and Neck pain, Pelvic pain, Headache, Nerve pain, Fibromyalgia, Musculoskeletal pain, and Joint pain.
Dr. Ayazi is proficient in a wide range of pain management procedures, including radiofrequency denervation and other advanced interventionatechniques.
A pioneer in his field, Dr. Ayazi established the Pelvic Pain Management Service at the Royal Free London Hospital in 2007. He has since managed numerous complex cases of chronic pelvic pain, including vulval, vaginal, rectal, testicular, and penile pain, and regularly performs specialised procedures such as pudendal nerve injections and radiofrequency denervation.
