My hearing care assistant Claire was brilliant. I only made the appointment because I was spending New Year in the area from London and still had muffled hearing despite being under treatment for wax removal in both ears. I had already gone down the local NHS route, which uses only irrigation, to no effect and the private (Specsavers) route, which uses only micro-suction, with limited success after several visits. So I was delighted that with just one treatment of about twenty minutes at Meadows and Wood my ears were completely clear. Claire used both methods in appropriate combination to get the result I wanted. She was very pleasant, friendly and extremely professional and fully answered any questions I had. She was also careful to keep me informed of what she was doing at every point of the treatment whilst ensuring that there was no pain or discomfort. I would unhesitatingly recommend Meadows and Wood to anybody. The standard of treatment I received was so high that it might well be worth making the trip from London the next time I need their services!

The treatment and ongoing care that I have received from Professor Liu has been exceptional from start to finish. From the initial consultation appointment to the routine checks following my bilateral eye implant surgery, I genuinely couldn't have hoped for a better service. As someone who was very long-sighted with the onset of cataracts, I chose Professor Liu because my research told me that he is a world leader in lens replacement surgery. However, it is the gentle kindness of Professor Liu that has touched me every bit as much as his technical brilliance, as well as the wonderful additional support provided by his manger, Vivienne Liu. On the few occasions when I have had a query about my eyes, Vivienne has arranged for me to either visit the surgery in person or to speak to Professor Liu by video call without delay and without making me feel like I am being a nuisance. Becoming glasses-free with 20/20 vision has been life changing and I honestly couldn't rate Tongdean Eye Clinic more highly. It is truly exceptional.

We visited Dr Haddad just before Xmas and again recently. Dr Haddad has been excellent! My daughter has been struggling with a severe reaction to something which is causing her stress and unfortunately the other channels we have taken to date have not been of any help. Dr Haddad has really turned things around for us by helping us to understand what might be going on and helping as best he can in getting to the bottom cause. He Explains everything so clearly, allowing us to ask as many questions as we need, putting my daughter at ease which has made her feel that she is being understood and heard. Above all giving us a clear path on our next steps and not giving up on us. I would highly recommend Dr Hiddad and so grateful that we found him.

I had a dermatology appointment for a mole. My consultant told me it needs to be excised for a biopsy, and this would have the double role of treatment; by excising the mole, the “problem” would be fixed. I followed through with the procedure, and upon receiving results from the biopsy two weeks later, my consultant informed me that I would have to come back for a second excision! I was surprised, since my verbal communication with the consultant my understanding was that the initial excision was all that was needed. I felt that I was scammed into going through the same (800£!) procedure twice, when the whole thing could have been done in one go. I refused to return to this consultant.

I went to see Mr Pakarian as I was having very heavy bleeding from a suspected fibroid which I thought I had had removed via a Myosure treatment three months prior. He talked through my history and did scans then and there. He thought it was a fibroid and sent me for an MRI to confirm. He talked through my options including shrinking the fibroid but recommended a full hysterectomy based on my age, history and my confirmation that I didn’t want any more children. He sent me off to think about my options but I was fully convinced the hysterectomy was the best option for me.
