I wanted to share how positive my most recent visit to Bristol Menopause Clinic was. From the moment I arrived, I felt truly listened to, believed and validated. My experiences of PMDD and perimenopause were taken seriously, without minimising or rushing, and I felt fully supported in making decisions about my care. Since the appointment, I genuinely cannot believe the difference I feel within myself. The impact on my wellbeing has been significant, both emotionally and physically, and for the first time in a long while I feel hopeful and grounded in my body again. Compassionate, knowledgeable and person-centred care makes such a difference, and this clinic offers exactly that. I am incredibly grateful for the support and would wholeheartedly recommend Bristol Menopause Clinic to anyone navigating PMDD or their perimenopause journey.

I saw Dr Ravi Popat for a knee consultation and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the start, he took the time to properly listen to what had been going on, asked the right questions, and explained everything in a way that actually made sense. No rushing, no generic answers. What really stood out was how thorough and reassuring he was. He went through the scan results carefully, talked me through the options, and made sure I understood the pros and cons before moving forward. I left the appointment feeling informed and confident, not stressed or unsure. You can tell he genuinely cares about getting the right outcome for his patients. Professional, knowledgeable, and very approachable. I’d have no hesitation recommending him to anyone dealing with knee issues.

Mr Pranai Buddhdev

We first met Mr Buddhdev while seeking a second opinion on our sons hip X-rays. After feeling like we had been left in the dark and our fears dismissed we we’re immediately reassured and comforted by Mr Buddhdev. We felt for the first time that we had a plan and understood our options. After a follow up it was agreed that Freddie would be booked in for a guided growth procedure with soft issue release. Amy and the rest of the team were flawless. All questions were answered quickly and the whole process was very smooth. Mr Buddhdev treats you like your the expert in your own child, listens first and then responds. All choices were our own which was very refreshing. Thank you.

My experience of the appointment with Mr Tavares was excellent. I have one comment on the health questionnaire I was asked to complete after the appointment and before I left the hospital. Many of the questions had a 'yes' and 'no' box at the side. Instructions at the start would have been helpful as to whether the correct answer should be ticked or circled or the incorrect answer deleted. Later on, under specific questions, directions were given to circle the correct answer. I raised the issue with the staff at the desk and they indicated that the best way of commenting was on the review form.

Mr Sunil Jain

From my first appointment with Dr Jain, things went gery smoothly, he was able to identify my need for surgery quickly and then began to explain the process i would go through clearly and consisely. Dr Jain explained to me in simple enough terms the problem i had, the methods t9 be used to fix it, and then also explained the things i could be doing in preparation pre, during and post op to assist the process. 6 weeks post op, i am very happy with the progress i am making, am clear about what i need to do to ensure full recovery and i have Dr Jain to thank for that. Couldnt reccomend him more.

My experience at the McIndoe centre was incredible. Throughout my surgery and stay the entire team were incredibly kind and caring. I was given plenty of reassurance prior to my surgery, everyone involved during my surgery was incredibly professional and the aftercare following my surgery was incredible. All of my nurses were incredibly kind and helpful and made the process so much easier. I had a great private room and bathroom, and the food was also great! Cannot recommend the McIndoe centre enough, they will be my first choice should I have any more procedures in future

Cathedral Eye Clinic

I have been attending Cathedral Eye Clinic since May, when Mr Niraj Mandal carried out cataract surgery on my left eye. A follow-up operation to stitch the iris was also successful. Although I still experience some blurring at distance, tests show 6/6 vision, and this is due to be corrected with laser treatment in the New Year. I am very pleased with the way the consultations and overall service have been carried out. The care has been professional and reassuring throughout, and I am looking forward to improved distance vision in 2026

My experience from the moment I walked in through the front door till I left was 1st class,I had a consultation with Dr Bryan Murphy who was very friendly,welcoming & professional just a true gentleman, he knew instantly what was wrong and treated me there and then saving me a return trip and another consultation fee,I’m very happy with the treatment I received.I also have to say the receptionist (sorry I didn’t get her name) was lovely the perfect person to welcome patients.

Mr Raj Nigam

Mr Nigam Is a an excellent consultant and surgeon. From the first consultation I was kept fully informed on the treatment options available for my diagnosis. I was informed of all possible risks with the treatments and proceeded with Hifu based on the position of my tumor. The pre organisation, treatment and after care was all excellent and the result was successful. I would 100 per cent recommend Mr Nigam and his staff for any urology issues.

Dr Tuan P Chua

His colleagues at the Nuffield Hospital (both consultants and nurses) spoke very highly of Dr Chua and I am delighted to record that he is even better than they said. He exudes self-confidence, he is very calm and reassuring in his analysis and explanations. Medical consultations are always very worrying but the consultation today with Dr Chua has been a wonderful experience which I will not forget.

She allowed me to express my emotions and feelings and I’ve came out of these sessions feeling like I can take on the world. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needed that someone to talk to. My appointment with Mr Dimitriou couldn't have gone better. His manner was professional and personable, which helped to put me at ease. He got straight to business with the tests, explaining the results, and what the next steps would be. Aura certainly is the centre of excellence in every aspect. The staff are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to accommodate our requests. Nadine and her team strive for perfection and if something is just not 100% right, they rectify it immediately. Mr Wadhawan visited me throughout my stay in hospital, both before and after my operation. He clearly explained the planned procedure and once completed he described how the procedure had some complications in a way which meant I fully understand. He also welcomed my questions. I am very impressed with Spire South Bank Hospital. They are very efficient and welcoming when you arrive nothing is too much trouble. The hospital is very clean and always tidy. My room was always clean. The catering staff were always very polite and friendly.
