My experience has been nothing short of exceptional. My initial contact was with Tracey Lomax (Manager), and from the very beginning she offered a level of care and attention that truly stood out. I had written a long list of questions—around eight—and she took the time to highlight and respond to every single one. When I later sent even more questions regarding my chosen procedure (a Coronary CT Angiogram), she continued to provide thorough, reassuring answers. My intention was simply to undergo a non-invasive heart assessment at the age of 53—much like purchasing travel insurance, you prepare for the worst but hope for the best. Tracey reassured me that this was absolutely the right place for such an assessment. I had already enquired with two other providers, including Alliance Medical, but their responses felt robotic and impersonal. The level of genuine care here made all the difference. I also want to highlight the professionalism of the radiologist, who carried out the scan with great precision and made me feel completely at ease throughout the procedure. In addition, the nurse who took my blood samples three days prior to the scan was equally kind and professional—and the fact that these pre-scan blood tests were fully included in the cost was a significant and appreciated gesture. Dr. Gavin Lewis was the consultant who saw me both before and after the scan, with the consultation arranged on the same day. His explanation of the results was clear, calm, and reassuring. Both my wife and I left feeling confident about the future and grateful for the guidance he provided—including helpful advice on maintaining a healthy heart and speaking with my GP about medication adjustments. The final report arrived at my home within seven days, and a copy was also sent directly to my GP. My medication was promptly reviewed, updated, and delivered straight to my home. I am taking the time to write such a detailed review because they genuinely deserve it. They put real effort into caring for me, and I want to acknowledge that level of dedication. Delamere has been a godsend to me. From the first moment I contact them to the final day of my stay, they were warm, professional and caring. Each and every member of staff, from the cleaning teams to the senior leaders has the best interests of guests at heart. Delamere is a caring and friendly community which focuses on the needs of the individual, but in such a way that the programme does not feel over-medicalised. The care and attention given from the nursing team is second to none and nothing is too much trouble. They explain everything to you in a way you can understand and always have time for questions or queries. The guest liaison team are approachable and helpful as well as supportive and kind. The quality of the group session is excellent and well-thought through to support you on you recovery journey. This is exemplified by the outstanding quality of therapy and mentoring I received throughout my time at Delemere. The chefs are excellent and proved a nutritious and balanced diet which is excellent quality. The team as re also friendly and welcoming. What was special about Delemere is the personal touch. Every member of staff knew your name and was happy to chat about any issues you might have at any time of day. I cannot thank the staff enough for the opportunity they have given me to get my life back on track. I wholeheartedly recommend Delemere for anyone needing their expertise and support.

Overall experience with Dorset Heart Clinic is excellent. We telephoned to book the appointment and able to choose the time that is convenient to us. As a self funded patient, the appointment is very speedy. Administrator is also very informative and helpful including parking. The consultation is very informative and reassuring. We have chosen to see the consultant that we have seen via the NHS as he would be familiar with our condition. The emails followed up also very quick and timely with the consultation report for us to keep for our records. Any concerns have been dealt with swiftly. Tucked away, the clinic had a bright and airy interior. A warm welcome greeted me at the door and I was swiftly directed to reception. Unlike some medical waiting areas it felt comfortable and homely. I noted they had security was at the entrance, which was reassuring. A cheerful receptionist checked me in efficiently. The waiting area was pleasant, offering a variety of hot drinks including still and sparkling water, biscuits and snacks. I asked for a taxi on leaving and the lady at reception explained they didn’t have a direct telephone number, but would get a colleague to wave one down for me. Very thoughtful.

Always an absolute pleasure coming to Vermilion, the staff are just on another level. I honestly think you wouldn’t get that kind of treatment anywhere else in the country. Customer service is first class. Everyone, from the admin teams and front of house, to the Drs and Hygienists. Had my third Hygienist appointment with Debbie last week, she is absolutely amazing, always feel better after seeing her (mentally and with a sparkling mouth 😂). Also, Dr Martin Morley is also such a great guy, so easy to talk to and great at what he does. Best dental team, hands down.

He carried out a bunion revision operation after it was done incorrectly by another Hospital (by what they say was a good surgeon). I wasn’t able to wear shoes for nearly 5 years and I can actually put a shoe on without my foot hurting me for the first time in five years, so yes he’s a very good surgeon and I would recommend him to everybody, so much so I’m getting my other foot done by him very soon.

All staff were efficient and friendly - only two suggestions: 1. Keep your patient informed of reasons for delay for their procedure - we get anxious 2. Air-conditioning a disaster - Room 2 too hot or too cold - resulting in inability to sleep 3. Give e erroneous a bonus in December!
