I was very impressed with the care and attention I received from Mr Mohanty. Not only did he check on me after my procedure, but he phoned the next day and then came in later that evening, even though it was his day off. Initially, after my procedure, I had a catheter fitted. However, when they removed it, I encountered difficulties passing urine. Mr. Mohanty allowed me to go home with a catheter fitted and arranged to see me in his clinic the following day. About 10.00 that next day, Mr Mohanty phoned me to check that I had all the information I needed to attend his clinic (as he hadn’t been on site when I was discharged) and was very welcoming upon my arrival. This appointment went as he had explained and I left hospital without a catheter a few hours later. Since my procedure, I have been very amazed at the level of care and professionalism Mr. Mohanty has shown to me - he has phoned a number of times to check on my recovery and shown interest in me as a person, remembering some key facts about my life. He is an excellent practitioner and I am grateful for what he has done.

I visited for an US abdominal and internal after NHS scan could not find my ovaries due and I was very anxious to find out if theses were causing my pain. I was fortunately referred by my GP quickly and seen the following day. The experience was totally different to the NHS one. My questions were answered rather than the NHS “you will need to speak with your doctor “ response to every question. The consultant Christina spent time to get the necessary images and did advise further scans to eliminate any issues with bowel/colon. The whole experience was very comfortable and I did not feel like I was being a nuisance by asking questions about my body!! Thank you so much. It was ++ reassuring and did also identify a condition which I may have causing the pain.

This was my second visit to this hospital,and as it was on the 1st visit,I can only add praise on the staff,nurses consultants,seating area with coffee machine,the receptionist was so polite and helpful as well as being friendly and smiling.It was comfortably warm on a cold day,always a nervous person even for an xray.but left the hospital with all the information I needed,and feeling calm and confident on my visit. Must add that Mr Richard Slack is a very approachable person that put me imediately at my ease.and answered all my concerns very confidently,with a very caring side also,I wish I could use those hospital for all my health issues,100%! I found the whole experience of surgery with Dr. Kovacova to be extremely reassuring. I was relatively nervous about the ptosis op, she gave clear and considered information on what I should expect and the related risks before the op but was careful to explain that it was a relatively routine procedure that put me at ease. During the op she talked to me throughout, making me feel calm and relaxed. During my follow up appointment she was very friendly and explained the best course of action for healing. I was referred for treatment of prostate cancer and he provided detailed information of the techniques available for surgery and the outcomes he had achieved so I could make an informed decision. He saw me pre and post-operatively to assess and reassure me and the procedure went very smoothly. He even found time to ring my wife after the procedure to reassure her that it had gone well. On removal of my supra-pubic catheter I had no urinary incontinence which was an an amazing outcome and completely attributable to his novel technique and skill as a surgeon.

I injured my back the week before Christmas — I could not even walk with the pain. I emailed Dr Swan over the weekend not expecting a response until Monday. I should’ve known from my previous experiences that he really cares about his patients and their outcomes so I was not surprised when he called me at home in the evening to discuss what I could do to immediately to relieve the spasm and a plan of next steps for investigations and treatment. I could not think of a safer pair of hands to be in when you are in severe pain and dealing with a spinal injury.

We recently attended an appointment for nail removal with Tony Wilkinson. From arrival when we were greeted on both occasions by Dawn we had an excellent client experience. The premises are spotless. Dawn - the Receptionist on duty on both appiontments we incredibly friendly and took time to chat with my elderly mum to put her at ease. A great credit to the facility with lovely customer care. Dr Rohan was very professional, yet warm. Listened to my concerns and walked me through the plan. From testing and assessing possible diagnosis to prevention and future monitoring and treatment if needed. I felt I was in good hands. I did a full blood and urine workout to ensure I don't have an underlying disease. After a few lifestyle changes and home monitoring I saw my blood pressure normalise, for the first time, since I was diagnosed with preeclampsia 2 years ago, during pregnancy. Always very friendly, attentive, a well-stocked childrens waiting room. On this latest visit we did have a slightly bizzare situation where we arrived, were checked in, weighed and measured, and put into the waiting room. We then received a phonecall - from the next room - explaining that we were late for our appointment. They were very embarrassed and there was no harm at all. Funny though!

The experience was very good. However it would be very helpful if X-Ray, MRIs, were confirmed with a text., including date and time of appointment. Also Outpatient reminders do not include the actual time of the appointment and with whom which again would be extremely helpful and may well reduce number of missed appointments.

Whilst I had difficulty in obtaining early appointment with my registered GP, my insurers allowed me access to the Consultant without delay. MY treatment by all the staff was efficient and discreet. Dr. Hickey made time available to discuss my condition and prospects in full and made me at ease.
