My lens replacement surgery went extremely well and I wish to thank Mr Muel-Gonzalez and his team for their professionalism, expertise and most of all the care, kindness and attention they gave to me. The experience was marvellous. I would highly recommend Mr Muel-Gonzalez who has made positive, dramatic changes to my life. I am a ‘like to know the detail’ person and once Mr Muel-Gonzalez explained the options, which we discussed at some length, I was clear about the type of lenses I required and the procedure. I knew that Mr Muel-Gonzalez was the right Consultant for the surgery. He filled me with confidence and I trusted him unreservedly. I had surgery on both eyes with three weeks between them. Mr Muel-Gonzalez kept me extremely well informed at each stage - pre, during and post surgery. The staff, facilities and hospitality at The Alexandra Hospital were outstanding. It was 5 star treatment. After 48/72 hours post surgery, my close, intermediate and distance vision were awesome - and this was without wearing spectacles for the first time for over 25 years. Within a few days post surgery, I could read the tiniest writing - even on a toothpaste tube! It may seem a bit odd to mention this I know, but I couldn’t read it wearing glasses. Colours are brighter and images are sharper too. My vision is now 20/20 and I no longer require glasses. My life has totally changed with the expertise and care of Mr Muel-Gonzalez. Jess delivered our baby via C-section in March of this year. We opted for the full maternity package, and we had an excellent experience. Jess is very calm and knowledgeable. Her approach filled us both with confidence. Her care was comprehensive and personal; we were able to contact her with any queries throughout the pregnancy. We could book our appointments well in advance. This was especially helpful as we live over an hour from London and both work full-time with busy work schedules. The professionals that Jess works with and knows of are exceptional. She was able to recommend an expert in antenatal hydronephrosis and Jess works with a wonderful anaesthetist. The doctors she recommended were not only experts in their field, but they were also incredibly warm and friendly. When it came to the delivery, the day couldn't have gone any smoother. Jess had prepared us in terms of understanding exactly what would happen on the day and what to expect. All the professionals closely involved with the birth introduced themselves to us before we went down to theatre. If we are lucky enough to have another child in the future, we will be contacting Jess without a doubt.

Following my initial consultation I was offered a date for my surgery which was only two weeks ahead which completely surprised me as I expected a much longer wait I attended my surgery and was treated with courtesy and respect by all of the staff I encountered I was put at ease both before and during the procedure my surgeon My discharge nurse explained clearly what I needed to do with my medication and also how to keep my eye clean I received a phone call from a nurse the day after my surgery checking that everything was okay. I have nothing but positive things to say about the whole experience and would recommend Newmedica to all of my family and friends.

Dr Karolina Afors is highly skilled and compassionate doctor. I started seeing DrAfors for a range of pain and suspected endometriosis symptoms. She took plenty of time to read through my pages and pages of notes at our first appt. After being dismissed by other doctors who called my list of symptoms "sensory overload", she was a breath of fresh air with lots of ideas, and she was invested in helping me get my life back from pain. The medicines she has prescribed me for my endometriosis have changed my life and she always has a range of suggestions for symptom management of many conditions. Cannot recommend her enough. I've got my life back with her help.

I recently saw Dr Patel about my dry eyes, which I've been managing on my own for nearly 10 years. I was considering a septorhinoplasty and wanted to know how best to manage this/any likely impact on my eyes, as well as what else I could do day to day to manage my eyes. Mr Patel took the time to provide a thorough eye examination and explained the condition and where I am in terms of stages and treatment levels. I found his manner very kind and patient with me, as I have a low tolerance for things in my eyes, such as bright lights and staring in one place for a long time.

Sam Wilde did an amazing job on my hip. I had a steroid injection and an extremely gloomy prognosis from the consultant with regard to osteoarthritis. Without Sam I would have gone into a deep depression! Sam talked me through a programme of rest post the steroid injection followed by a slow return to exercise with various adaptations. A year and a half later I am back to exercising 6 times a week with (so far) no issues other than the odd twinge from my hip. I am incredibly grateful and can't rate the treatment I got highly enough.

Today's visit was a 3 month follow up... I've been seeing Dr Chinegwundoh for 2 years and it's been quite a journey getting to where we are today with significantly better controlled asthma, and that's down to perseverance... getting the right treatments for me and dealing with blips along the way! I'd had a very different experience prior to being referred to Dr Chinegwundoh so I was a little skeptical... but happy to be proven wrong. And having dealt with some of the underlying issues very definitely in a much better place.

The Spire has excellent facilities (car parking, waiting area, consulting rooms etc) and the reception staff are very attentive and helpful. The “formal check in” using an iPad is an unnecessary hurdle for patients to negotiate. The earlier system of just checking in with the receptionist was much better. My appointment with Dr. Balerdi was on time and a very useful session. Re. Dr. Balerdi himself, my very postive comments are in an earlier section.

The clinic has convenient parking and I literally walked into reception and into the treatment room. It’s refreshing to turn up ob tine and then not wait for half an hour. Had minor procedure on leg veins. All the staff super nice and professional. It’s a lot of money but my leg was treated very quickly and now it’s one less thing to worry about
