After 3 years of ongoing symptoms, countless tests and multiple gynaecologists, I had completely given up hope of ever finding a solution to my problem. Her wonderful Private Secretary, Toyah, was so kind and empathetic and went above and beyond to get me in quickly for an initial consultation. Then when I met with Emily I was blown away by every element of her approach – the holistic evaluation of my situation, the fact that even in a short time she had read my full medical history, the way she was incredibly thorough and knowledgeable whilst still being funny, caring, understanding and down-to-earth, and the clear way she laid out my treatment plan and next steps. She is clearly very passionate about helping women with this unique problem and is also at the forefront of treatment options and solutions to get people back to being happy and healthy again! After years of feeling frustrated, confused and at a complete loss as to what to do next, within 45 minutes with Emily I had a full treatment plan and reassurance that she'd be there for me until we had the right solution. If I could give her 6 stars I would, she’s one in a million and by far the best experience I’ve ever had with a medical professional.

I have been under the care of Dr Alistair Ring since September 2024, and from my very first visit to The Royal Marsden, I knew I had made the right decision to begin chemotherapy there. During our initial consultation, Dr Ring immediately put me at ease, even though I had just received a difficult test result minutes before our meeting. He took the time to explain the Oncotype test for example and the treatment options available, making it clear that every step of my care would be centred around me. Dr Ring’s attention to detail and his encouragement to ask questions gave me great confidence and helped me feel empowered throughout my treatment. Following chemotherapy, I began medication that induced menopause, and thanks to his early guidance on potential side effects and how to manage them, I felt fully prepared. I also appreciate that he has been open to ongoing conversations about my treatment, including exploring HRT options, this openness means a great deal. The clinical staff at The Royal Marsden have been exceptional. They have consistently provided compassionate, professional care, and I genuinely look forward to seeing them at each follow-up. They remember small details and speak to me as a person, not just a patient, which makes every visit a positive experience. I cannot recommend Dr Ring and The Royal Marsden highly enough. I am deeply grateful for the outstanding care and support I have received and continue to receive from the entire team.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes on 4th December 2025 and l was discharged today, 12th January 2026. I'm so pleased to say l don't need to wear glasses or contact lenses any more. From start to finish, my experience at Freedom Vision Chelmsford was exceptionally good - and my end result is superb vision. - more than l could ever have hoped for. Colours are radiant and bright, and probably the biggest bonus for me is feeling so much more confident driving at night. After undergoing rigorous tests and scans , the actual procedure is very quick and painless. All the staff, without question were delightfully kind people and I'd like to thank them all individually, if only l knew their names. But in particular, l'd like to thank Nicola who guided me patiently and expertly throughout the whole procedure, and a massive thank you to Mr Hove , my surgeon, for being such a genius. If you are contemplating cataract surgery, l urge you to go for it - don't be scared - you won't regret it!

Mr mughal was great and had a great team, they took care of me really well for my 2 operations, few points was communication i was allergic to the surgery dye but this information was not told to any staff members i had to remind numerous times and even before I went into theatre, also as I have mental health issues some staff was rude and not understanding just judging, just a little care and attention as you dont know what someone is going through, also at Cannock hospital some stuff made feel uncomfortable and not really giving me the care so the after care after the operation was very poor, alos at new cross some staff are rude and make it uncomfortable, but I spoke with mr mughal who is going to see me in 12 months to see how my leg has healed and also about doing my left leg as I have pain in it, but mr mughal has done a great job and hes been very supportive, made me feel comfortable and reassured.

Professor Mark William Little

My father underwent a prostate arterial embolisation (PAE) under the care of Professor Mark Little. Naturally, we were apprehensive at first, but the entire process was handled with professionalism, clarity, and reassurance. Professor Little explained the procedure and the expected outcomes very clearly, and his advice throughout was measured and confident. The results have been excellent and exactly as described. Since the procedure, my father has experienced a significant reduction in nightly trips to the toilet, and his ability to empty his bladder has improved markedly. This has made a noticeable difference to his day-to-day comfort and overall quality of life. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the outcome and grateful for Professor Little’s expertise and care. Highly recommended.

Hospital was dirty. Room was dirty. Was provided with a pillow that was fully stained yellow on one side with no pillow cover. One of the nurses saw it when he turned it over but I had already been lying on it for hours. Went to the surgery without any pillow only to wake up to another stained pillow without any cover. Found a toenail on the bed. Very unhygienic and was not comfortable. Staff were ok. Food received was not what I ordered, so left without eating anything. Will only be coming back for my second operation because it is the surgeons only practice that is close to where I live, otherwise would not be returning. Hygiene is most important in these environments and it was not to par at all. Worse than NHS.

I had been considering eye surgery and attended Cathedral Eye Clinic to get a second opinion, having already spoken with a consultant in Dublin. Putting it simply, my experience in Belfast was far superior. The team at Cathedral ran a more comprehensive range of tests, assigned more time and personnel to my case, and were far better at talking through my options. In particular, I was very pleased that they were willing to give me their honest perspectives based on what they felt was best for me in the long run. Ultimately (based on their guidance), I decided not to go forward with any additional procedure at this time, but should I need treatment further down the line, I will not hesitate to go back to Belfast.

I had a really positive experience staying at Nuffield Hospital. From admission to discharge, the staff were friendly, welcoming and kind. Everyone I interacted with was attentive, reassuring and helpful, which made a big difference during surgery and early recovery. Even when things were not perfect, such as not having a post-surgery bra in my exact size and sending me home in one that was a bit too big in the cups, the care and effort from the team never wavered. They handled everything with warmth, professionalism and good humour! Overall, I felt well looked after, respected and supported and I am very grateful to the staff who made what could have been a stressful experience feel calm and manageable. 💗

I was awake under spinal anaesthetic and felt completely safe from the start, as it was clear he was very much in control in the operating theatre. We wanted to add in re purposed meds to our chemo regime with someone guiding us for safety and not following random internet protocols. I had the Aquablation surgery under Mr Brewin at New Hall. I spent a long time researching surgeons who perform this procedure and I am very pleased I chose Mr Brewin. I live a very long way from Salisbury but it was worth the journey. I am extremely pleased with the outcome. My only regret is that I wish I'd had the treatment earlier. Mr Brewin is down to earth charming and Knowledgeable and I would highly recommend.
