Every time I come for an outpatient appt, the specialist is an hour behind time.. the secretary/receptionist should have called ahead of time to expect delays but they don’t!! They leave it till the time of the appt to mention the hefty delay!! Last time I had to leave as I could not wait out an hr delay! So complete waste of my time & money grrr! Something that could easily be rectified with better communication from the clinic!! Including the fact when I had an outpatient procedure, I had a 2.45hrs delay as there was a delay due to an emergency in the morning.. again no contact from the clinic informing me of this delay.. had I been informed earlier before arriving at my appt which was scheduled at 1pm, I didn’t not have the procedure till 3.45!! Had there been communication from your clinic informing me of the delay I would have left home later and not have left the dogs alone for 8hrs due to the clinics inability to keep patients informed of delays!! Grrr! Every single time due to lack of communication I’m left frustrated and angry!

Recent visit was ok. My Nurses could have been better organised. On arrival no one was there to greet me despite being told to be there at 7.30 am I wasn’t told no one could come up and wait with you or be present after my procedure. The room for pre theatre and after theatre was far too small for 3 beds to be in it. It was also flat too hot in the room making me feel worse.. Unprepared for someone feeling unwell after the procedure. I did feel very rushed after my procedure despite feeling unwell! The doctor on shift however was very good. Nurses rushing to finish their shift in theatre to hand me over made me feel uneasy. Nurse looking after me rushing me out the door as it was past 8pm. I was worried about leaving as still felt pretty unwel. Overall was not tailored to my needs Surgeon & anaesthetist very good can’t fault them at all. Made me feel very at ease before my procedure.

Mr Andrew Baker

Questionable bedside manor. Seemed rushed and not particularly interested in me as a patient. Booked a private consultation but when I arrived he didn't have any notes for my booking. Was reluctant to fill in the form requested by my private insurance and gave it back to me to post (health insurance stated it was to be sent by doctor electronically but I had to post as that's the only means I had and Mr Baker told me his secretary doesn't do that). Clearly not very interest in anything but his £220 consultation fee for all of an 8 minute chat! Reviews were however positive hence me choosing Mr Baker as my surgeon. Unfortunately I did have to have a second operation as the first didn't eliminate the issue or resolve my pain. This second operation was carried as as an urgent procedure under the care of the NHS following complications.

I recently visited for an up and coming procedure I have booked in for the 12th. Dr Agha was detailed and thorough during my F2F visit. He communicates well and listened to all my thoughts, he advises well-equally is as realistic with surgery and the results. The location itself on Harley Street is pristine all of the staff and friendly and welcoming. The clinic is very easy to find- I came from Euston. It was a straight forward journey for me coming from Shrewsbury. Considering I travelled alone, it was quite enjoyable. Really looking forward to my procedure, having waited around 7 years for it after having my little girl and not wanting to jump into having surgery while she was so young. My patient advisor has also been brilliant along the way, thank you Jenny.

The receptionists were incredibly kind getting me a drink when I walked in. I have been feeling very poorly and it was a relief to book in on the same day and be seen. The doctor was so thorough in my consultation. 20 minutes is a good amount of time to have a proper discussion. Antibiotics were needed - the dr sent me a code to give to the chemist to get my prescription. All very easy and straightforward.

Despite the systems being down Dr Bast didn't let us wait around as he know we could do the post op check regardless. He was caring, answered all of our questions and assured any worries we had.
